Every single Sine Ace Hardware staff member is helpful when asked UNLESS they are going to lunch or break...then you wait...& wait..yet the majority (at least 3) of employees are all up front of store & not on floor? Grateful for this place due to their in stock merchandise & quick special order service EVEN if staff continuously converse with ?? in ear piece like James Bond?? (comical) AND follow you around like you are going to steal something (like air filters) or encased items? & lookat you from top to bottom . Which makes shopping experience an intense one. One employee is most helpful & respectful I think his name is Jesse.

Belligerent and uncommunicative employees. Cashier called manager and then refused to acknowledge my presence for the remainder of my visit. Manager Craig was even worse; being very rude and refusing to assist me due to the specific product I wanted to exchange for being out of stock. I don’t know what the other customer reviews are referring to, but statements such as “then you shouldn’t have bought it in the first place” and “take it up with the manufacturer” coming from a manager don’t inspire one to ever return for future shopping trips. 100% would not recommend visiting the 51st Ave/Myrtle location. Would have given fewer stars if presented the option.

The staff was very helpful. What I wanted wasn’t in stock, but the bigger competitors didn’t have it either. I was able to use the My Ace Rewards discount when checking out. I was able to quickly get another item I needed & leave. This is a convenient location that I’ve been coming to for years.

The store was really clean and organized and the staff was great I was kinda annoying asking questions but they helped me were really kind and saved me money Ill only go to this store from now on.

I needed to go in the store because I was told by my contractor that Ace has the paint he needs. I was having a great day until I walked in and had the staff stare at me but not a single hello. I make my way into the paint sample area and seconds later a gentleman walks in and was greeted by staff and was also asked if he needed help looking for something . Wow did that make me feel like I was a nobody. I still stayed looking for the color I needed but nobody ever came to help me so I left feeling unwelcome. Seems like they don’t care about customers or their business . Only who they want to help. Do better !

Wow is everyone there in a bad mood. The young guy at the register this afternoon needs some customer service training. You guys need to be more open about your return policy, I never would of bought something with a no return policy. And now the exchange receipt has no return or exchange Final Sale, what if its bad when i get home, Im just out 50 bucks. Bad customer Service here...

Yesterday was my first visit to this store even though it is nearby. Ive obviously made the big box stores to much of a habit because I really enjoyed my shopping experience at Sine Ace. Went in for a quart of paint and came away with several other items I needed as well as the paint. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I also appreciate that they are still taking mask wearing seriously, even though I know some others dont feel the same. I have no problem wearing a mask if it reduces the risk of Covid to myself and others. Thank you.

Drove 20 miles to visit this store because the website indicated they had an item in-stock and ready for pickup the same day. When I arrived the shelf was empty and the employee I spoke with was not helpful and would not attempt to locate the item. They could offer no explanation for why their inventory was incorrect and the item was unavailable. They also appeared very young, inexperienced, and were not knowledgeable.

Only the 2nd Ace Ive ever been in with the first was about a month ago at the 83rd location. Just like the 83rd location, my visit was great. Customer service was on point - greeted upon arrival, welcomed back when departing, no wait at the register, and had help if needed an ear shout away throughout the entire visit. 👌 👍And the best part - cherry on top was they had my favorite fertilizer in stock! Not only in stock, but priced lower than Ive ever found it at. Im so sorry but Ive gotta keep it 💯 - I was that guy for the first time ever. Lol. I was greedy and swooped up all but one bag. 🤨Hey man - I havent been able to get a hold of this stuff nowhere & for a while... Both in store and online. So better believe I snatched em up.

I’m canceling Ace Hardware until I am given the choice as to whether or not I wear a mask in this store. The governor of AZ has lifted the state mandate. We live in the United States, land of the free. If you wear your mask, you’re protecting yourself. Don’t worry about me and my health. That’s my concern.

I have shopped at the store for many years and the customer service was always very good. There are several cases that are locked and require help to open those cases. Recently I needed a $4.00 part from a locked case and was informed that the associate had to take the part to the register for checkout. That was the first time in all the years shopping there for that to happen. Perhaps the store is under new management but that experience was very disappointing.

I always buy my Air filters, etc. there.They also have other items I cant find anywhere else. This is a great hardware store, I love it.

Employees were helpful. While i was there a thief grabbed a expensive item & just bolted out the door to an awaiting get-away car. Guess they should invest in some security.

Decided to try this store over the large chain home supply stores for a couple of unique items including rust reformer. Walked in looked around and a fellow in a red vest at the back asked if I needed any help. Told him what I needed and he took me directly there at the front. Also asked if they carried something else and he immediately knew they did not. Second person at the front asked again if I needed help as I was looking for a third item and went directly to the location. Very refreshing that they ask instead of waiting to be asked, and know where everything is immediately. Well stocked store, I will be coming here as default now over the chains with extremely inferior service.

I needed specific sized bolts to fit something difficult to size and I was so impressed by the young man who assisted me. He knew immediately what to locate and I was quickly on my way. Most importantly, the hardware FITS! Kudos to the red-haired associate at the 51st Ave and Glendale Ave location! Your hard work and professionalism makes a difference!

When I looked at their website they said yes we have pulled down window shades so I went to buy one couldnt find any in the store so I asked where are your window shades oh we dont have any we dont sell them then why is it on your website that you do I will never go back

It is like where I grew up. Walk in and someone asks you if they can help. Then they lead you to what you need, answer all questions and even walk you through how to complete your chore.

After being rudely reminded that we had forgotten to put on face masks we got to experience the hypocrisy of the staff not social distancing and not wearing their masks completely. Horrible customer service experience.

Costs are comparable to big box hardware and the staff know a lot more than the Depot/Lowes crew.

Employees should be educated on the Americans with disabilities act, and HIPAA act. Have a broken nose, employee told me to pull mask over nose. I explained i had a broken nose, and wasnt possible without being in pain. They told me I couldnt be in the store.And these are the ones, without a hint of common sense, who want a higher wage?

This hardware store is a landmark in the City of Glendale. This store is clean and well stocked on carried items. The employees are professional and familiar with inquiries that one may have. Easy to find location in Glendale for many good things.

A sign in front of the store tells customers they must be wearing a mask to be allowed to enter. Inside I saw 2 customers and 1 employee without masks. 3 employees were masked, several customers (including me) were also masked. I had trouble finding what I needed but the only employee available to help me was not wearing a mask. I left with the wrong product and just dont want to go back. Thanks to businesses like this, customers and some employees get away with their disregard for the safety of others. This is why I dont get to leave home and its depressing. I have been to this store pre-pandemic. The customer service was very good and they had a good selection of the product I was after on that occasion.

I always tell my friends I come to this ace before I go anywhere else. They ask why. Because they have guys like Chris there. Today for example I walk in ask Chris where the torches are he physically walks me to them and asks what Im looking for . I said just a nozzle. He points out for 2 bucks more I can get the torch and tank together of the same thing I was going to buy. This is why I ALWAYS GO TO THIS ACE. Since the 90s. Thank you Chris for proving me right

They saved me hundreds of dollars by being able to make and program a key for my vehicle. Im guessing it was the manager training someone on how to do it and she trained him perfectly. She let him do the work while she assisted. Because of how well they did Im going to have my son come here to have a key made for his car. Thanks for saving me so much money.

Went there today, 4 times repairing commodes. Purchases/ returns and the last time for help. Very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding! The only name i remember is Jesus because i asked him for the grateful assistance.

I like Ace Hardware mainly due to the fact it has been able to remain open and competitive going against the giants Home Drpot and Lowes. Although the stored are 60% smaller in size I have found that if the other 2 big box stores dont have what Im looking for I always found it at Ace Hardware. They provide a more personable shopping experience with friendly, knowledgeable associates.

I had the worst experience at a larger orange wearing we will not name hardware store before deciding to come here. I do not regret going to Sine the staff was super friendly, helpful, and quick. The tall guy w/curly hair was knowledgeable and explained everything so could handle doing everything myself. Very pleased will always come back

A nice little hardware store

This is a wonderful hardware store and they have a lot of inventory more than most. I love the fact that any of the people there can help you find what you need and you can get in and out without taking the amount of time a big-box store does. East is the place with the helpful hardware man certainly Rings true and I leave the store happy every time. Sure some of the parts might cost a little bit more than other stores. But my time is worth more than a couple dollars that I save

A large, clean and bright, fully stocked store with a large parking lot. There were plenty of staff on a weekday early afternoon. Great to see a very demographically-diverse staff. Every employee I saw and spoke with was responsive to customers and well mannered plus seemed knowledgeable and trained. Not an ounce of strife in the place; all running smoothly. Kudos to Stephen who helped me with nuts and bolts. I needed a 7 long 8mm bolt and 6 other places told me to come to Sine. Stephen ended up cutting a length of threaded steel which did work for my purpose.

Ive been coming to this ace since I bought my house in 2015 its literally 2 blocks away from me. I came in to get a key made. I have done this dozens of times and never had a problem. They did not sell the key I need so I ordered it online. I went into the store after waiting 15 minutes and having 5 staff just walk by besides the gentleman who was busy ringing up customers. He did do his part and call for someone though. A guy finally came seemed to be frustrated I went to hand him my original and new blank key. He immediately shook his head and said we dont do that here and proceeded to hand me a lock Smith card. Then I told him it was never a problem in the past he started talking about the manger making exceptions. Apparently I didnt qualify as an exception. I left drove the extra 4 miles walked in and out in 5 minutes with my key no problems. So I guess these guys wont be getting my business anymore.

People here are super knowledgeable, very helpful, always willing to go above and beyond. Has the closest feel to a neighborhood hardware store that you can find anymore. At least in this area in my opinion. Especially a great place to go if you need a specialty nut, bolt, screw, o-ring, bushing, ball bearing, springs, clips, washers, hinge, etc etc. Hundreds of well organized, well labeled, drawers, bins, and trays of hardware. You can look through yourself or anyone will be glad to help you find what you need or what will work.

This is my favorite Ace store in the valley located at 51st Avenue in Glendale near downtown Glendale. I give these folks my business because they stock the kit car wax that I use in my cleaning business on bathrooms and windows and glass. They are also very helpful usually. In fact, I will go to store before one of the other big box stores if I need something specialized and help finding it.
