Great if you are a student shopping for saxophones or looking to try some pro models although they do sell other instruments. The staff is knowledgeable and can help you find an instrument that suits your plays style. One of the few shops as of May 15, 2021 that are allowing costumers to try out and play horns as we emerge from this pandemic.

Finally a Music store that caters to none professionals, I am being sarcastic The team at Charles Music actually takes the time to explain howa certain piece of equipment actually works. Thats customer service.

The people here are really nice. I took my acoustic bass to get fixed and i got back so much better. I would happily take any of my other guitars in to get fixed here.

Great place to find your music supplies. Picked up a mouth peace for a beginner trumpeter and ended up waking the trumpeter in myself.

The staff is helpful and easygoing and the shop is perfect for a quick stop if you have guitar needs!

I can’t say enough good things about this store. It’s run by some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I came in for a digital piano, stand, pedals and headphones. I don’t have a car so I was going to have to load it all into an Uber SUV. When Sue heard this, she was nice enough to drive me and the equipment back to my apartment herself. And Seamus (I hope I’m spelling that right) was nice enough to load it all into her car. Support this store any way you can!

Great store, it feels like the stores you would have in small towns, no because of the stock, (they have plenty of everything) but because the way you feel when you walk in. It is cozy and the people that works there is super friendy. In a big city like LA were stores are normally huge and cold, Charles Music Store is like finding a Jewel!!

Theyre very nice knowledgeable and helpful. I take my son there for violin lessons, and her stuff for my guitar like amps and pedals...decent prices too, but its not a huge place. Nice local and fun.
