My car was leaking oil and I took it in where after paying for 7 hours of labor there was still a leak. I took it back in and they cleaned the bottom of my car and said it was residual from the leak they fixed. It wasnt. I told them I was moving out of state so I had to take their word for it but they were wrong. They also did my break fluid where suddenly after getting it back, 3 days later, I got a light saying my automatic breaking system is inoperable. Ive been with them for years but there is always something when I get my car back and this really upset me cause I cannot even take it back...again. I would love a partial refund but I doubt that would happen so Im just writing this review.They have gotten thousands from me, and to just claim the undercarriage was just dirty.. the leak was a lot when I brought it back and even offered to show a pic but they were so sure it was residual that if it just sat over night they would have seen the leak dripping cause it was just smaller than before. I have pics dated of the leaks as well as the light too so there is nothing to argue on their part except that they let me down.

The oil change ad is a scam to get unnecessary repairs. Pretending you have an oil leak by pouring oil on your engine then showing you the dripping or pretending your vehicle has other leaks is a regular tactic here to get large repair bills. They also have a scam involving smog check where they find a way to fail your vehicle so they can get big repairs like making you replace your catalytic convertor by claiming its not legal when it actually was legal and you didnt need to change it. In addition to being crooks they are bad and lazy at their jobs, so you might ruin your vehicle by letting them work on it. Best advice is dont go there and keep your vehicle safe. The city of Glendora has other mechanic shops which are honest and skilled at their job, so read reviews and pick another auto service. Purrfect Auto Services of Glendora is a really bad choice.

Great service. New management since the last time I was here and its sooo much better. Appears to be transparent in pricing and fair in labor.

BEWARE!! Stick to the coupon oil change only, they will try to recommend unnecessary repairs that are crazy over priced!! I was quoted $1800 for repairs they said I need, I went to another shop and it turns out my car was fine and I just need my rear brakes pads change. I paid $40 done!

I went there and the receptionist left to Starbucks for 45 minutes while I was waiting to make my payment. That was annoying, but I can deal with that. A couple days after my oil change, my check engine light comes on with the code reading P1069, which translates to an unspecified problem with oil. I took it to the dealership who ran diagnostics and performed an oil change, and it turns out that Purrfect Auto put the wrong oil in my car. That was a mistake that cost me an extra $200. I’m not happy to say the least.

The workers are not professional, very rude and selfish people. Takes forever with smog check, just stay away. Go somewhere else. You will feel appreciated more. Type auto mechanic service near me .

I needed a last minute oil change that was long overdue, and Purrfect Auto had me in and out of the shop in about 30 minutes! They were so kind enough to help my last minute request and took me without hesitation. All of the staff was so very kind and professional. They dont even deserve 1 star in my opinion! I took my car to get a smog check and an oil change, and they returned my car WITHOUT PUTTING THE OIL CAP BACK ON!! I didnt notice for a few days, until I saw the oil which had spilt on the garage floor. Id never used this place before and noticed it didnt have great ratings but only used them because I needed a smog check and I had a coupon. Do yourself a huge favor, pay the regular price and stay away from this place because their techs are irresponsible slacks who put minimum effort in their work!

Ive been there in the past and had a bad experience. But this time was a whole better experience. Much more personal, very informative and accommodating. Even received photos of the work in progress. Would recommend visiting to have your auto needs addressed. Thank you again for all your help.

Just arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon for a smog check. Office attendant said they would not be able to complete this service even within the 2.5 hours they are to remain open today. I asked to speak to a manager to talk about why they would decline to take money for a simple 15 min service. When she came back it was reiterated that they would not be able to help. I do not think I will ever come back even if they have a $17+8 dollar (out the door) price. Just not worth the hassle and the feeling that the customers are not a priority. I actually should have learned, I went 2 weeks ago and the same office manager said they were busy. I waited 2 hours to save a few bucks... never again. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for smog services. Especially a company that understands customer service. I actually went down the street paid a few dollars more and was done in 5 minutes.

Came to business to get smog and oil change. Estimated 2 hr wait. I said ok and left did a little shopping and returned. I asked andhand thadnt taken the car in yet. I made mention that the car being a hybrid with button needed to have the brake heels down in order for it to start. She responded, AreyAre serious? We do a hundred of these a day very rudely and sarcastically. I said awesome thanks but shortly after was annoyed by the exchange. I went came back at hr 3 and asked how long it would be as it still hasnt been taken in. She says 2 more hours. So 5hr wait, wasted my day and had to leave still needing the service done.

Although they dont honor their own coupon, at least theyre good at lying in order to do unnecessary repair. As a bonus, theyll pass COVID on to you.

Watch Out. This company is ripping people off. They will tell you your catalytic converter is not on an approved list and want you to replace it charging you $600, $800 or more. The Air Resources Board will withdraw converters sometimes after they were previously approved, BUT if it was a valid converter when installed it is still legal even if it was removed from the list later. They are using this to trick customers into a an unnecessary repair. Check the ARB (arb.ca.gov) list of aftermarket catalytic converters and compare your installation date against the withdrawn date. If installation is prior to the withdrawn date, its good.

This business is FANTASTIC! They always do a wonderful job no matter the task and the prices are very reasonable. I always call them when I need something done. If you dont want to have to deal with the dealership and need stuff done this is the place to go!

I had a great experience with my Toyota. I printed the coupons online for smog check and brake inspection. They did the inspection for both honoring the coupons. They didnt try to sell me anything else, and told me the brakes were fine. Great friendly service from the mechanic and receptionist. Recommendable.

Im surprised to see that this place uses the same dirty tricks on everyone. Just noticed another Local Guide with the same sort of experience.Took my 2002 Civic to them for a Smog check. Figured it was a low risk way of trying the shop out and the price was great. After all, my car had passed smog for the last 4 years without any issues. What could go wrong with the smog check ?Nope ! The technician flagged my car as one having a non CA approved part and reported it to the DMV. Offered to replace the part for $1000. Obviously I refused. I had to ultimately get the part changed. But it only took me $450.Its appalling how some businesses still practice dishonest 1990 tactics in this internet era.

Ive been going here for a while now. These are some honest people. They are always giving me head up on things that could be done on my van. Very kind people on the right days lol keep up the great work.

I went there today to do my oil change, the price was $17 almost to $18. It was a good price than the other shop, and it was the reason that I went there. While I was waiting on the oil change the lady who show me the invoice had gone, and the tech guy had call me to show me my car. And point out the problems that I have with the car, he then strongly ask me am I willing to fix it or not and also told me the price of the part. It was $124 and $45, I thought it was not a bad price for a fixation so I agreed(because I thought it won pass over $250). However, I forget the most importance part was labor and the tax. After the lady come back and show me the new involve the price was over $720!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD! what I did? I shouldnt agree to fix my car( this is my first time going to do oil change before that I never know much about the car) and I did know what part they had fix for me. Thank you to them I had learn a lesson, and I will never ever going back to the shop!!!!!!!!!!never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ever!!!!!!!!!!!

The mechanics and service at this establishment are TERRIBLE! I went in there for a smog check since I received one of their coupons in the mail. $16.99, plus $8.75 for certificate, and additional $10.00 for any vehicles before 1999 or older. No big deal, prices seemed legit. I have a 1999 F-150 btw. I went in at 3pm on a Friday, there was no wait, I asked how long it would take, lady at the front desk said about 20 minutes. Over an hour later 4:19 comes. I ask when its going to be finished, lady says it done he going to come in to talk with you right now.Mechanic comes in and says You failed inspection.I respond, how?( I didnt have any check engine lights on, and I had just replaced the cadalic converter last year)he said I failed you because of a visual inspection, your pvc hoses look old and worn out.I checked out the hoses myself they looked fine.I was so upset, I explained to the lady in the front how ridiculous this was, she said still had to pay. So I did. I was charged $36.00 dollars. I went down the street to another star smog station, (less than mile away) I paid $58.00 dollars. Told their mechanic what had happened down the street. He laughed, and said thats what you can expect from those guys)Overall experience:Total waste of time and money dealing with this establishment! I would not recommend anyone go there!

Never have I been so upset. Last time I went in, the old mechanic said he would get the parts for cheap through a friend if I leave some money for him. Didnt want to go back, but my struts were really bad. Michael, the mechanic in charge, decided to DUMP OUT everything (including a suit and important work files) and made a mess of the inside of my car. He said he needed to do it to get to the shocks, but he couldnt figure out how to use a phone and ask me if he can pull my stuff out first (not the brightest bulb...obviously). Prices are TOO HIGH for such incompetent employees. Now I have to go figure out whats missing from my car. UPDATE: The mechanic, Michael, STOLE a part from my car, the CatClamp, used to protect the Catalytic Converter. No response from the Owner.

Worst customer service ever. I called this place to get a smog check after calling all around town. Someone told me at 1:09p to bring the car and advised me that I could use my coupon.I drive up and get to the counter and the worst customer service lady ever told me they werent doing smogs today and I have to come back tomorrow. After I mentioned to her that I had just called she rudely asked me if I was at the right place.I showed her my phone and the time I talked to someone. I asked for the owner and the manager. She said she was the manager. I told her she should give me some type of discount for someone lying to me on the phone. She would not.This place is trash. Dont go there.

Don’t waste your time, guy told me my car has major issues leaks and even Said I need a new rack and pinion, I only came down for an oil change ? So I took the car to my mechanic he lifted it said it was bone dry not a problem in sight I have a lexus ls400 these cars are notorious for its life span . This place is a complete scam please take your car somewhere else.

Don’t waste your time on these guys and their FAKE ads! They advertise $11.99 for an oil change and then when you get in they tell you you have to change all kinds of things in your car which cost $1000. And if you don’t spend $1000 to fix “your cars problems” then they WON’T change your oil!!! What a scam!! They wasted 30 minutes of my day. Now I know why these guys have 3 stars and all the other auto places in Glendora have 4-5 stars. Go somewhere else!!

Different strokes for different folks.I came in for a smog. The technician said he noticed a damaged hose of some sort that was visible to the eye and would cause my test to fail. He still put my SUV through their dock and had my truck marked through DMV.I took it elsewhere to get it on point.So now my truck has 2019 tags.

I wouldnt say all of them but i know MIKE is very dishonest tried to convince me to get a different oil in my car than what i usually get because it cost more once i didnt go with that he decided to quote me a 1500 dollar repair on my car which i got a second opinion and they quoted me 140 MIKE needs to understand people are not made of money and also its not right to lie to people like that i would never go here again or recommend that anybody does if your looking for a good honest mechanic
