I was parked, and having lunch at a restaurant in Virginia, when one of the employees (in a stone stash marked vehicle) decided to put a bunch of stickers on my roof rack on top of my car. He covered up stickers that I purchased and were gifts from people I love. It may just be stickers, but DO NOT DEFILE OTHER PEOPLES PROPERTY. If I wished for a sticker I would’ve asked for one. Maybe inquire before putting stuff on things that don’t belong to you. I have a small business and we have stickers too, but I don’t go around putting them on peoples cars. I live like 13 hours from the shop you have too, and if I was close I definitely wouldn’t go now. Learn some respect, or rather think before you do something.

Dont let the size of the shop fool you! There are so many wonderful stones and minerals that a rock hound will go crazy, but there is such a variety of unique items that anyone will find something to love. Got a custom pendant made at an amazing price - after the owner spent time looking through stones with me to find the right one. Beautiful things, good prices, and amazing personal service - go visit !

Stopped in at the Stone Stash yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised! So many beautiful and interesting minerals and objects to look at. One of the owners Ashley Barnes was there. She was so nice and super informative. She clearly loves her work. Hope to go again soon!

Between the incredible atmosphere, extremely knowledgeable and friendly owners, and one of a kind pieces of art only seen at The Stone Stash, I have a difficult time deciding what my top reason is for loving this small town gem so much. The Stone Stash has been wonderful every time I’ve gone in the store. They have an incredible stock of all kinds of stones and jewelery along with tye dyes. The “staff” (I say in quotations because they are friends and friends to the public- don’t just “work” there) are very knowledgeable, helpful and personable. I took one of my daughters there to make a stone wrap necklace for a 1:1 class which was fun and was catered to her learning. When I messaged The Stone Stash on instagram, I was responded to immediately and they were flexible to make this class available for us. Today I went in looking for a very particular product that NOBODY had and I didn’t want to order online and behind the counter they just HAPPENED to have EXACTLY what I was looking for- an amber teething necklace for my baby with a matching bracelet. Now I don’t believe they normally have these, but I was just in luck. Life savers! The studio that they have moved to is much more spacious allowing for the store to burst from an hard-working caterpillar to an excotic butterfly. I have only met the staff about 3x and I’m so happy for their ability to expand into a better space and what they’ve done with it. Even if you’re not in the market for stones, this place is worth stopping by for a look and a chat. It’s gorgeous.
