I called because the regulator on my tank is not working properly. I called on Thursday and talked with Kyle. He offered some suggestions on things to try, if they did not work to call him back. Without the tanks I can not leave home. I called him back and he said he would be there the next morning, but would call when someone was on the way. I waited all day and never received a call. When I called they were closed and wont be open until Monday.
I have been on hold for over an hour already with no end in site. I would have been quicker to drive there. OMG these people are horrible.
My Grandmother was visiting CT from NY last week. She is Oxygen dependent. While she was here, the alarm on her oxygen condenser went off and wouldnt stop. I called Lincare in NY, and they organized sending her information to a Lincare in CT in order to get a new machine delivered. They did this quickly and had a new machine to my house in CT within 4 hours. Thank you for your help, Lincare!

Went through Hometown on March 1, 2019 and they had my C-Pap approved by my insurance on March 4. Switched to Lincare on March 1, 2019 because they are closer to where I live. It is now April 24, 2019 and they still have not gotten authorization from my insurance. I have called my insurance 3 different times and they say they have not received an authorization request. Lincare claims they have sent faxed it, but to be safe my insurance said for them to call their authorization department 2 weeks ago. When I just spoke to Lincare after the 2 weeks, they said they faxed it again after I had told them to specifically call them two weeks ago. This is not my first interaction with Lincare and I had to wait a month and a half the first time, but waiting 2 months for them to take care of my order and not getting the proper treatment that I require, is just outrageous. Lincare is a terrible, terrible company that makes excuses and blames the insurance companies for their incompetence. They have justly earned this terrible rating and if they do not straighten out their mess ASAP I will have to switch back to Hometown, which is about an hour away, compared to Lincare, which is 5 minutes away. I cant bring to words how bad this company is and I have never had as poor an experience dealing with a business as I have had with Lincare.

Very poor service, not knowledgeable of insurance. They will ask for a credit card for payment, you need to contact your insurance company to make sure you know what your insurance provides-they dont care!
Rude customer care representatives. They sit on your script for two hours and then act like your the cause. The process of getting product was not fully explained. Supervisor could care less about the staffs behavior and was only interested in making the sale. There are other business in town that one could use. Used to be a great place. So disappointed.
Doctor ordered a different mask 3 months ago. Two weeks later made call and they didnt have prescription. Dr had records that they had sent it and had to resend. After 2 months, I was told insurance wouldnt pay for another 3 months. I should have been told this before. We said we would pay for it as my daughter needs it. Still waiting for it to come in. My daughters insurance will only go thru this organization. Had another provider before and they were great. Wish the insurance compay would change to another provider. Timeliness is important for people with sleep apnea. They could die at any time due to the time it takes to get equipment. We are picking it up as soon as it comes in.
Update: I decided to take time off work and drive up to Lincare to have them read my CPAP device doing as their corporate people requested. The nice lady at Lincare took my device and after a while told me “no data” was on the device (that’s a lie). Then she told me to wash my old equipment with hot soap and water, let it dry, then send us the card in a few weeks. I haven’t been using my CPAP so I really don’t have the energy to yell after driving 40 minutes to make it there. I hopped in my car call my Doctor and said, “Hey I’ll take that referral now”. Dealing with Linecare is simply talking to a stonewall.Original review.They have bankers hours for medical supplies. They could not get a reading off of my cpap machine today, but if I left it over night they could have a reading for me.....ah no thanks. A “reading or printed out update” should take less than 30 minutes and hour tops.
They are horrible people that work there and could careless about anyone! They lie straight to your face and the supervisors should be fired. The guy with the beard and lady supervisors on Dix Ave. Dont care about the way they talk to you and they let the staff treat you badly and say nothing. Ive called numerous times about oxygen and my oxygen machine to have the lady hang up on me !!!! They should be shut down . They dont even help you get your tanks in the building. Had to do myself and Im on oxygen w COPD ! Anyone else have this issue ? if they do to me, to they do to everyone.
Hospital ordered a device at 6 pm that was needed to deliver medicine. Was supposed to be delivered in AM. Hospital administered one does to hold me. By 10 am product wasn’t here. Called and spoke to someone who claimed she was the supervisor. Would deliver sometime that day but was not on the truck for delivery. Single most rude person I have dealt with in some time. I will be informing the hospital of th poor performance of one of their suppliers and plan on complaining to Lincare higher ups.
VERY RUDE! Person who called me about a walker for after my surgery, hung up on me! Said that they faxed the script the Dr sent over to either the Latham site or Johnstown. She didnt know which. Told me to call them & then hung up on me! WHAT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS.

Horrible customer service. Called many, many, MANY times with questions about my cpap machine. Never got a call back. It got to the point where the receptionist knew me by name because I called so much, complaining that I would never get a call back. Then my Dr. faxed over a change to my equipment. After a MONTH without hearing anything or receiving my new equipment I called. Was told they had the fax from my doctor but for some reason the change was never processed. Unfortunately this is the only supplier my insurance allows my doctor to use so I am stuck. I will switch to ANY other supply company as soon as I get different insurance or my insurance allows for a change.
Doctors ordered a nebulizer for my son at 4pm on friday, Lincare didnt call until monday. I ask for it to be delivered after 5pm as i work. She said that was fine. No one told me i had to call to let them know i was home. Tuesday they are at my door calling me. i am at work. I said it was suppose to be delivered last night and the guy was rude telling me i never called. i was not aware i had to call.
2 months since prescription sent to Lincare. Said order was placed but didnt happen. Called again order on hold because needed updated cpap usage. Needed that because they didnt fill prescription timely. Had to take usage card to be read again because of their not filling prescription timely. Still dont have medical equipment for cpap. LINCARE only company that my insurance takes. Likely legal action can be taken against insurance company and Lincare if I have medical problem/accident due to their system not providing necessary medical equipment in a timely manner.
Worst customer service ever, its been over 2 weeks and they havent processed my CPAP equipment. Several people I have spoken to about Lincare also have complaints. Lincare has the bid for Medicare coverage in this area and I hope more people complain directly to Medicare regarding the awful service this company provides.
Lengthy and onerous process to attain an oxygo (6 weeks), daily calls to follow up with sometimes rude and unhelpful customer service team, weathered complaints from them about their difficulties in getting insurance reimbursements ( why is that the patients responsibility) process unclear and multiple internal steps to get approved internally, then moves to corporate approvals, and finally required expediting to icare complaint line.
I ordered a C Pap machine to help sleeping with a Drs RX. They lied about delivery dates for months. Screwed up insurance and were thoroughly unprofessional.
