Wish I could give more than 5 stars, they are worthy of at least 10. I cannot believe the quality of these parts. Rick and Sandy worked for perfection, and trust me they hit the nail right on the head. I upgraded my strat with the BrassMeister full brass bridge setup and I am beyond pleased with the results (havent even plugged the guitar in yet!) The sustain, intonation, and quality of these parts are unsurpassed. Since installing these, I plan on purchasing for the remainder of my guitars. Do yourself a favor and stop wasting money on other upgrades; BUY THESE PARTS before anything else. No other company is worthy of your hard earned cash. This is a totally unbiased review, and I will be mentioning this to all of my friends and fellow musicians I know. Absolutely amazed at the immediate difference. Thank you so much for all you did Rick. Just wish more people could know about the work you do! JZC
Rick is a great guy. Worked out a sizing issue I had with my MIJ Charvel. Bought the Fat Bottom brass trem block. What a quality piece. Im all about brass parts and this really makes a difference, both tonally, asthetically, and functionally. KGC is one of VERY few (like two) craftsman outfits making quality parts like this. Give them your business.
Exceptionally high quality guitar parts that make a significant difference in upgrade the tone & sustain of electric guitars. I have purchased several brass blocks, brass saddles, and brass claws that work incredibly well in helping me get the sound I’m seeking.
Their products are beyond perfection! This is, without a doubt, the most important upgrade anyone can make to their electric guitar. Everything is better with KGC.
I installed the brass keyhole saddles for my American Special Stratocaster, the sustain, tone and intonation (I take credit for the setup) are incredible, this has become my number one, my custom shop stays nice and safe in its case... this thing is boss.
Fantastic products and wonderful people at KGC. This is my review of KGC. Long story short. I wanted to try out a brass block for my Floyd so I got in contact with Rick. I live 1 1/2 hrs away in Massachusetts so I wanted to drive out there instead of waiting for shipping. They allowed me to come out on a Saturday afternoon to do business. I met Rick and Sandy. What incredibly nice guys, down to earth, funny, polite and just a pleasure to deal with. We hung out for a little bit, talked sports, life, music, guitars and so on. I purchased a 5/8 37mm brass block and then I went home to install it on the new guitar I made. Wow! Amazing! The brass block gave noticeable sustain and somewhat enhanced the low end. Just what this guitar needed. The guitar is tuned to drop b, on the low notes you can really hear the brass. I absolutely love the block! Its a shame that no one will ever get to see the fine polish on the cover. Its like a brass mirror. The fitment of the block and cover were spot on. You can tell they take pride in their work. I highly recommend this product to everyone that has Floyds. If your considering buying a brass block just do it, you wont regret it. Definitely worth the money. Im going back to get two more blocks this week and will eventually be installing them on all my guitars, present and future. Id like to just say thank you to Rick and Sandy again for their excellent product and look forward to buying more of their products and seeing them again
