Went to the Golden CO location and the staff was amazing!! They were so nice and prompt and did great work! I got a flat down the road from their location which is no where near Denver where I live and they took me even though they were closing in like 5 minutes without hesitation. I was in and out without an issue and the manager was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this company and location no questions asked!

Had winter force tires put on and were not balanced. Took it back again to get tires balanced because I had a 16 hour road trip. Tires still not balanced. Called Goodyear, and they told me to take it to Discount Tire.

Getting new tires and an alignment couldn’t have been any easier. The service manager Zac was awesome, very helpful and well informed. Also, I think it’s great they support the EMS community. Thanks again guys.

Zach specifically is one of the best technicians I have ever had work on my vehicle. He is smart, technically minded, and incredibly friendly. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else.

I wouldnt recommend this place at all for an alignment or service. We had new tires replaced and they told me they couldnt perform an alignment on our car due to a previous issue with the car. We went on a long road trip (which was why I got new tires) and then found out from my long time reliable auto repair shop after we got back that Goodyear had left the adjustment points loose. Big safety issue. The steering wheel drove at an angle the whole time.

Drove over a nail and got a flat tire on the way to work - they were able to squeeze me in the same day and got it fixed quickly. Very happy with the service here. A month later I accidentally left my lights on during lunch at a nearby restaurant and killed my car battery. The team here was willing to help me jump start it and be on my way, free of charge. We limped into this Goodyear with a badly leaking tire on our rental car around 4 pm. There was only one mechanic and he was busy working on other cars. The service manager and mechanic promised to work on our tire even after closing time. The mechanic showed us where other tires on the car were very severely worn. He showed us that our flat tire was due to a poorly done patch. He was able to remove the old patch and do a proper patch on the tire. We want to thank the service manager Zach Clark and mechanic William Borys for their exemplary service and outstanding work. They saved our vacation!

Very Honest and straightforward! I took my car here for a really bad oil leak and the issue ended up just being a damaged oil filter causing the leak. They easily could have lied and said that the issue was something was worse (and more expensive) and I probably would have believed them because it seemed bad going in. I really appreciate how honest they were even though I am sure they could tell I did not have much experience working on cars. I will definitely be taking my car here again if I have issues in the future.

The mechanics are great here! Cat, the customer service advisor, is always a delight. Great at her job. Charlie, on the other hand, is extremely rude and has no customer service experience. How he is the service manager is beyond me. I’m giving stars for the good people there, but there is one rotten egg it seems like and that’s unfortunate for the other good employees.

I have been going to this Goodyear for over 4 years now and I continue to be impressed with their service. They have gone above and beyond in helping me more than once - it is clear how highly they value their customer service.

I brought my 2019 Honda Odyssey in for a brake check. They have been very squeaky. I figured I needed new pads and rotors. Dropped it off, and later they called me to tell me that the brakes were fine, didnt need servicing. They could have replaced them and I would have just assumed they needed it...Charlie took me out and showed me what he found and his honest was well appreciated. Very good experience. Ill definitely be back.

Fred and his team are fantastic! We had a blowout on Sunday and needed service pretty quick, and they fit us in on Monday despite being booked up. Tire wasn’t fixable, so I needed a new one. They sold me one replacement despite the fact that I happily would have bought four had they recommended it due to tread wear differences. That’s honesty and integrity right there. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Scheduled an appt for an oil change and it took 4 hours and when they were done my car smelled like it was burning so I had to take it back and they had accidentally messed up part of my brakes. They serviced the mistake for free. The lady Cat who works up front is awesome and really kind and the only reason I’m not leaving one star. Charlie made me uncomfortable with his rude commentary and seemed very frustrated that I existed.

My appointment was at 11 am ... for an oil change - and I needed a new headlight. Call me at 1:53 pm telling me its done...but they didnt have a technician to change the headlight. Three hours for an appointment?! Just to change my oil...used to think this was a good place - I understand they were busy, but appointments take first priority. And no notes on the inspection - other than it was free...not sure Ill be back.

Very rude employee. Called the day before and scheduled and when I drove up he rudely barked What do you want as he smoked. Took one look at the tire and said nope cant do anything and walked away. No explanation nothing, just rude and did not remember I had called him the day before to set up the appointment. Never go to this location the workers would rather stand around then help out.

Stopped here after a cracked radiator and these guys fixed me right up. Reasonably priced, fast service, and quality work. They got me in as a walk in on Saturday morning and I was driving by Saturday afternoon. Very satisfied customer!

Bought tires here a few years ago. Spending 1k-1500 on tires so nothing cheap. Last year I had them swap a rim around and found they installed a directional tire backwards. Came back and they fixed that and now the tire wasnt balanced correctly. 3rd time was the charm but 3 trips for one mount and balance is a bit excessive.Trying to schedule appointments so I dont have to wait long is useless as well. I typically have to spend 10 bucks on an Uber home or wait 3-4 hrs for something simple with an appointment.Aka fix a flat or two.Today I had an appointment for an alignment at 330pm. I called at 230pm to make sure they can still get me in and they said they were too busy. I get it, I work on cars too and things get pushed back, but figure out a schedule and stick with it. Don tell a customer to come back tomorrow cause now they lost my business. Ill take my 4 vehicles elsewhere.

Great place. It did take 15mins for someone to help me. The sales man was on the phone...But well worth it... I just bought a used SUV and was unsure about the tires. A tech eventually came and asked what I needed. I showed him my problem and the tires in question. He promptly crawled under the vehicle and told me what I needed to know. Ive been bringing my cars here for three years. Theyre very friendly, reliable, reasonable and most of all-- honest!

I went in for a rear passenger punctured tire. It turned out it had to be replaced. They recommended a tire that didnt match the ones I already had, and then proceeded to rotate my tires so the mismatched one was on my front, where the drivetrain is. This has since then been putting strain on my transmission. I would expect a mechanic to know and prevent me from getting into this destructive/dangerous situation. Thankfully, a mechanic I trust caught the problem before thousands of dollars of damage was done.Re: Goodyears response below. I have no interest in working with you again. Further, damage caused by mismatched tires on a drivetrain is almost never covered by warranty. Thanks for the form response though 🙃What I would accept is a $500 refund to what I paid that day for services that caused damages in my drivetrain. Not through a warranty, not through an automated bot phone service, but through an actual human customer service action.

I live in Golden and a friend of my said to visit the Goodyear if I ever need anything done with tires or wheels. 2 days ago I heard a clicking noise while driving, upon inspection I noticed a pesky screw right in the middle of my tire.I stopped by in to the shop and was greeted by Bob, Im pretty sure he is the manager. Bob inspected my tire and said that he could take my car in before the end of the day. The Goodyear team installed a patch and had me on my way in about 1 hour. The cherry on top was that they dont charge for patches so I had no money out of pocket.It seems hard to find honest people in the tire business so by hooking me up with a free patch Bob and his team have earned my business for all future tire purchases and alignments. Friendly fast customer service, 5 stars. If you need tire or an oil change, check these guys out.

Update: 4/19Goodyear deserves credit for rectifying the situation. The fully refunded me.It appears they sent the wheel to a third-party press which didn’t correctly press the bearings. Still, that doesn’t absolve them. That work became their responsibility—and the accepted it.Original Post:Goodyear jeopardized the life of my family by sending me home with a bad wheel bearing and spongy brakes.As a decent shade-tree mechanic, I was able to diagnose a failing wheel bearing. Being in a schedule pinch, and not wanting to do the job myself, I brought it to Goodyear instead of waiting for my mechanic. Keep in mind, I didnt ask them to look into a vague squeak or knock. They confirmed the bearing was bad and attempted to replace it.Picking it up at their lot, I depressed the break to shift into reverse and go home. No brakes. Brought this to the managers attention, he blew me off. If I pumped the brakes three times, they engaged. I drove off the lot. Stupid, but I had an important meeting to attend. A week later, I returned the vehicle. They bled the brakes. To replace a bearing, the brakes hydraulic seal isnt broken. That wouldnt have been the problem. It was another blow-off.After three attempts to have them take accountability, it was clear they couldnt or wouldnt fix my car. I took the car to my usual mechanic: Goodyear had incorrectly installed the bearing.They sent me home with a wheel in danger of falling off and spongy brakes. The bearing was loose enough that the wheel had one inch of play (vertical motion). Thats a life-threatening situation and also the reason for spongy brakes. Had Goodyear test driven the vehicle, they wouldve noticed. Theres a reoccurring pattern of indifference and/or incompetence in this story. Its probably the most troubling aspect.Note: the wheel bearing didnt fail a hundred miles down the road, it was bad from the moment I left their shop.To boot, my mechanic found bubbles in the brake line. Goodyear put in a bad bearing and did a faulty brake bleed. I spent $670 bucks, and more importantly several days of my time, for a vehicle in worse condition than when I brought it in.Incompetence is a strong word, I know. Im not a certified mechanic, but Ive replaced wheel bearings and done brakes myself. I understand mistakes happen, but these are routine repairs; simple repairs compounded by indifference.Im sure this shop is fine for oil changes and replacing tail lights. But I wouldnt entrust them with complex repairs. As a rule of thumb, I do my own repairs or take my vehicle to a good, independent mechanic. Franchise shops dont attract the most talented mechanics and they overcharge for their work.Dont be seduced by name brands. Trust your vehicle, and your familys safety, to an independent shop with a mechanic that takes pride in their work and puts their livelihood and reputation on the line. I broke my own rule and couldve paid dearly for it.

These guys have done good jobs on my higher end cars. I am pretty picky and they are always careful not to scratch my wheels or mess them up. Any tire issues Ive had they always been helpful even when I didnt by them from there.

I arrived a half hour early and was still out within an hour; despite the shop being busy. I really appreciated how they didn’t try to sell me tires or services after patching my tire. I’ll look at the tires they have when I do need new ones.

I have contacted corporate about this place, if and when they respond I will leave a review, I’m not hopeful. Update Corporate must have rained on them because the store manager called me and wanted to resolve things, and he did. The counter guy Kevin should be hidden in the back somewhere away from the public, He has the personality of turnip, I can’t imagine how much money he has cost the place, anyway issues resolved but lessons learned, I won’t be going back

I have been here a couple times for various repairs. These guys are great. The time estimates they give are accurate, and the prices are fair. I have never had them try to up sell me things I didnt need, and last time I went in the repairs were actually a couple bucks cheaper than the estimate.

Came in town with a flat tire on my RV trailer. Fixed for free! Quick too! Being out of state with likely no repeat business I was amazed!

I got three cars and live NE of Denver and I drive to Golden to get my tires from Kevin, but I do not know if he still work there or not.... I might have to go somewhere else now... so sad... hes very honest and helpful, none like others.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!Went for an alignment which is normal when buying new tires. My car is less than two years old. The front desk guy was unbelievably rude. And thats an understatement. When I arrived it was 4 hours before they closed. He said they needed more time to figure out what was wrong (RED FLAG). Its basically a new car with zero pull and zero abnormal tire wear. They want to find something to quote you on....hoping you bite. They are not trust worthy. DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE.

I saw the staff have great patience with a very obnoxious person. The oil changes are dirty cheap. They do all sorts of services cheaper then any dealer. However, Tires are cheaper at Peerless 1/2 mile down the road.

Just plain Bad Service.My Infiniti SUV broke down and the closest garage was this Goodyear in Golden. They kept it for days without contacting me ~ I had to contact them. They said it was repaired so I had a friend drive me from Denver to Golden to pick it up. I had a conversation, and they assured me it was fully reliable into the future.Fifteen short minutes later it died on the side of the freeway.I immediately called back and they had the audacity to say they didnt know I was going to be driving it on such harsh conditions as the freeway. They are very poor mechanics and dishonest humans.I called for a tow, and called the Golden Goodyear back to let them know my car would be back, however I discovered instead that they had all gone home! They had Zero concern for the literally 98 pound young female they had just stranded on the side of the freeway as darkness fell.The men of the Golden Goodyear are not men, but full-on losers.

625 miles driving into Denver. I then discovered a low tire. This location was extremely busy. I had a tear inside my drivers side front end. Ended up buying two new tires and got an excellent deal. I was in and out in no time. Anyone traveling from out of town and unsure where to go need to stop here.

Becareful - Brought my truck in for an alignment and tire rotation but they tried to give my truck back without preforming a tire roation and charging me for it. I explained my issue to Bob, and he made evrything all better. I would highly recommend working with Bob since he was on top of things unlike the other person.

Used to use the oil change, alignment check and tire replacement services here. However, they have me to come three times to repair my rear wiper, and still couldnt fix it. The most unbearable thing is when I ask for the refund, one staff screamed and shouted at me:get your money back, and never come back to the place! It was so embarrassing and angry! It is an inefficient store with unpleasant staff!

Kevin is spot on and does not miss a beat. This is a tire shop and not a mechanic specific shop so don`t expect your audi s4, porsche 911, or BMW M3 to be fixed here. However, the tires and service are great.

Dick, who I believe was the store manager, ordered the tire I requested (or so I thought). I gave him the exact make and model: Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW3. I had even printed it out to show it to him. However, when I looked at the tires, it turned out he had sold me a lesser model: the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Tires.

We got a flat tire while passing threw on vacation. They were able to get us in right away and had a new tire on in 30 minutes.

I have been to this GoodYear for the last 4 years. Every time I walk through the door I am warmly greeted by name by Kevin ( he was the best!), he and I would chat while I get checked in, and he has even been so kind as to offer me a ride to work if I couldn’t find another way. I have taken every vehicle I have owned to them, including my parents vehicle when they were visiting and their car broke down and my boyfriends when he couldnt figure out why his tires kept going flat. The customer service has always been good (Although it always takes awhile for them to check me in), even when they replaced the wrong part on my Xterra and didn’t call me before they did the work. The mechanic tried to charge me for it, I spoke with Kevin and he took care of everything and I was only charged for the part that should have been replaced, not for their mistake. Today I brought in my Mazda since the check engine light showed up over the weekend. I had it read by Auto Zone first and was told the EGR valve was bad. I immediately made an appointment for the next morning. Over the phone I briefed the mechanic on what I was told and the specs of the car, I was told even though the problem was already diagnosed they would need to diagnose it again and it could be anywhere from 40.00 to 115.00 for their diagnostic test. I asked the sales person why and he said it could be because the code Auto Zone gave me could be attached to multiple problems that sounded reasonable, he also mentioned it could be cheaper depending on the extent of the diagnosis. I dropped the car off in the early afternoon and had a call at 3:00pm stating that the problem was exactly what Auto Zone told me it was and that it was over 900.00 to fix the valve. I was also told that I was going to be charged a 115.00 diagnostic fee on top of the price I was quoted to fix the vehicle. I asked the representative why I would be charged 115.00 when we were already aware that was the problem, he said because it took them an hour to figure out that was the issue( once again, I already told them the issue), I asked why it wouldn’t be the 40.00 because I had already told them the problem, and he just stated again it took them an hours worth of work to confirm. He then asked me if I wanted to have the work done, since they were charging the diagnostic fee either way I declined. Most places waive the diagnostic fee if you get the work done with them and considering it’s about 900.00 worth of work and I have been a long time customer I figured this Good Year would do the same, they wouldn’t. So on top of paying to get the problem fixed, I also paid an extra 115.00 for this place to tell me what I already knew. Needless to say I will not be taking any vehicles here again, not for an oil change, tires, alignments, brakes or any other work on my car. I will even go as far to tell anyone in Golden (where I work and live) not to take their vehicles here either.Other quotes I received:The Golden Mazda dealership: 742.02Corner Mechanic: 716.00

Very poor customer service, they talked me into buying 3 year alignment package for my daughters car, and every time she goes there they are always confused, rude and cant find her records. She calls and schedules appointment every time, but they do not write it down. Today she went there and was treated rudely again. She decided not to go there anymore, even with her package not fully used.

I had an appointment for Wheel alignment on my 2007 Chevy express van . This was a two hour appointment they took all day . When I picked up my van I noticed it pulled to the right had I went back told them about my van pulling had right that this was not safe . I was told the font end was worn out . I told them the front end was just rebuilt then I was told the van was to heavy to for a font wheel alignment . Which was false . After waiting an hour in the lobby I was told they were going to correct the problem . I told them my van was now unsafe to drive that I wanted it fixed correctly They said it cannot be done When I drove to get tires rotated and an alignment the van drove just fine . They sent me down the roadI had to go to a new shop the next day for a second wheel alignment . I had to take one more day off from work . Very disappointed with Goodyear tire on Golden Road in Golden Colorado . Very unprofessional customer service sucks

I went in here after seeing a sign on their building that promised a $20 oil change and a free brake inspection, which I thought was awesome because it was almost half the price of the other nearby businesses.My brake light had been turning on in my car, and I was due for an oil change anyway, so I went in. I let them know about the brake light and asked that they take a look and figure out what was wrong with it while they changed the oil.After sitting in their dingy waiting room for FAR too long, staring at some sort of odd-looking growth coming out of the ceiling in the corner (which was probably the grossest thing Id ever seen in my life), they came back and said that the brakes were fine, the oil was changed, and they sent me on my way.I later found that I was COMPLETELY out of brake fluid, which they had not even bothered to check. Turns out that when they say oil change it means the bare minimum, and not even close to what other places offer. I suppose that its my fault for not having them specify first, but I would have thought that they would have at least checked the brake fluid as part of the brake inspection, given the concern I expressed to them.Overall, the money you might save on a cheap oil change isnt going to pay for all the extra fluids and services that other shops provide, and the services that they do provide (like the occasional free brake inspection promotions) are definitely not up to par.I guess you get what you pay for.
