It is hard for me to even describe how thankful I am for these folks. I was traveling and lost my glasses (which are very, very, very much needed) in a bit of a fiasco tubing in Golden. Golden Vision Clinic provided me with contacts when I was very panicked, couldnt see, and had nowhere else to go. While I dont visit this clinic for regular care, there is no question that they are incredibly helpful and kind, and in my case, life savers!!!

Spent 30 minutes calling around to find a place where I can test contacts, this was the only office that had a nice, friendly, and helpful person answer the phone! Turns out they offer good services as well and have done a great job helping me get what I need.

My glasses just had a little screw that had come loose, and these guys repaired it for me free of charge. They also cleaned the glasses too which was nice. Overall with the little experience that I had with them, they seemed helpful and professional.

Ive been a patient at several different offices over the years and Golden Vision is far and away the best. Dr Baron has assembled one hell of a team. They treat their patients incredibly well and explain everything as they go along. Each testing machine even has a little tag on it to tell the patient what the machine does. I dont get impressed very easily... this office is impressive.

Sam Baron and his staff go above and beyond to accommodate my disability. All of the exams performed were completed with the utmost professionalism and were very thorough. All of the results were explained in laymans terms. A treatment plan was put in place to assure excellent eye health. Much time was taken to assist with finding the proper frames and I was allowed to take home several frames before making my final decision. I highly recommend the Golden Vision Clinic for all of your vision health needs!

Excellent clinic. Ive needed eye care for almost 30 years now, and this is easily the best clinic I have been to. I just went for my first visit, and I was impressed by their high level of patient care and the strong cohesion and camaraderie of the team. Very thorough eye exam (much more extensive than I have previously experienced), and they take the time to ensure that all of your questions are answered and your needs are met.

I always get excellent and informative eye care at the Golden Vision Clinic! Also, it feels like you are dealing with friends when youre at their office. Everyone is warm and friendly, and they take time to get to know you and understand your individual needs and priorities. I was told to seek help elsewhere after a complete eye check-up. Additionally, parts of my visit dug into health insurance costs which is something I was unprepared for.Dr. Baron felt very impersonal; the rest of their staff was very nice, but when you feel that the doctor is wanting to twist your arm a little and push you into directions which you did not initially come for, I make sure to bring it up.I was seen at Denver Eye Surgeons later and they were very easy to work with and listened to me, fit for Scleral Lenses in about an hour.Would not recommend this place if you want real attention.

I am really happy with my first two experiences here. Janet at the front desk was great at handling my paperwork, Mia was great at getting me through diagnostics, and Dr. Inman was excellent at providing me with an eye exam. Overall a great experience and I would recommend them to a friend.

I’ve been going to Golden Vision Clinic for over 20 years and they have made me fell like family from day one. As a TV cameraman my eyes are extremely important to me and having just said that I realize they wouldn’t be any less important to me if I weren’t a photographer as I use them for other things besides work. ☺ Dr. Baron has state of the art diagnostic equipment that allows me to have the best eye care possible. I especially like the camera that takes a picture of the back of my eye and fills a 32” screen. The last exam showed some possible plaque on the back of my eye that let to a carotid ultra sound. Everything turned out good although I’m now taking a cholesterol lowering medicine. What a relief. I came to Dr. Baron a few years ago complaining about a dirty spot on my glasses that I couldn’t get clean. After an examination Dr. Baron told me that I had cataracts on both eyes. Dr. Baron referred me to an awesome eye surgeon in Denver. Since I trust Dr. Baron so much with my eyes I was very comfortable with his choice of eye surgeons. My surgery went perfectly well and when I came back to Golden Vision Clinic for follow up to the surgery my eyes tested 20/15 which is actually better than 20/20. Two years later when my brother Jim back in Illinois found out he needed cataract surgery I told him about my experience and that it would worth the 1,000 mile drive to see Dr. Baron and have his surgery done in Colorado. His surgery went as smoothly as mine. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Baron and his staff. Like my brother did, I would drive a great distance to see Dr. Baron because that’s just how important my eyes are to me and I wouldn’t trust them to anyone else!

Ive been going here about 4 years now. I came to Dr Baron because I had been to numerous other places and they kept telling me my eyes were fine. Well I couldnt see vey well out of my right eye so I knew something was wrong. Dr Baron said he wouldnt stop until he figured it out, and he did. He had to send me to a retinal specialist to get treatment and the specialist was able to stop any further damage from happening. Also, I have had great interactions will all of the staff. John in particular helped me pick out my glasses. They are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place and wouldnt go anywhere else.

Have been going here for 4 years. Called to make an apportionment today as I am having some sight issues. They informed me that I was dropped as a patient because the doctor is trying to specialize? I just got a reminder to make an appointment a month ago?You would hope that they would be loyal to their current patient base. I only go in once a year?

Been going here for years, call to make next appointment for my kids, put on hold, they come back and tell me we had a note on our account and that Dr. Baron is going specialized and can no longer serve us. That was it, no apology, no thank you for the years of loyalty.Looks like this is a way to get rid of customers, as I read more reviews that have been told the same thing. Cant tell me Ive ever been late or cancelled appointments though....I did stop buying contacts and glasses from them once I realized how over priced they were and I could get them so much cheaper elsewhere.I called again to get an honest answer, was told this time out of the 8 years of service I rescheduled 3 appointments!

Disappointed. We had to leave the appointment because my daughter is terrified of the dialation eye drops and couldnt continue. We tried everything but ended up having to leave due to her being so upset. My kid calmed down and she said she was ready to go back in not even 20 minutes later again and theyre too busy to help, no appointments at all. I pleaded as she had one eye dialated already, but they just said I could come back in later that day but they would have to put the drops in again...in both eyes.. Are you effing serious? They obviously dont understand how to deal with children that are terrified and make an accommodation to help a very, very hard situation for the child.The front desk did not treat me with respect on this request, nor did the tech.. when I called twice. And we left unknowingly with one eye dialated and the doctor didnt even notice nor send us home with protection for her eyes. Not a helpful office, we wont be going back after this experience and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone with children that are afraid of the dialation drops go here either. Youll be treated like a problem.

They have quite the money-making racket going, adding on as many services as possible, writing a prescription for the most expensive lenses, then quickly sending you to the vision salon where they escort you to the most expensive frames. On top of that, I was seriously misdiagnosed and had to visit another doctor to get the correct prescription.

This professional staff truly cares about you and your vision. The goal is to provide you with the best eye exam, the best contact lenses and the best eyeglasses you have ever had.

I had to cancle an appointment and when I went to get my contacts they told me the doctor cancled my appointment and to not come back because of my cancellation. I have spent close to 1000 dollars at this place before and, they are extremely rude and refuse service to a paying and polite customer. I will have to find somewhere else to go.

I had an eye emergency and stopped in on Friday afternoon. Although they were fully booked, they took me and helped me within 15 minutes.

Ive been seeing Dr. Baron since 1982. I went to see him every single year and bought either contacts or glasses through Golden Vision Clinic until 2000. Then I had Lasik and continued to see him every year until 2007, which was the last year I had vision insurance. Since then, Ive gone once and paid out of pocket. I always received a very thorough eye exam. Cant say enough good things about the thorough exam!!!! But the last time I went I have to admit I purchased my glasses elsewhere because his clinic is more expensive. The recession, a lower paying job, no vision insurance had taken a toll, but I still went to see Dr. Baron and paid almost $300 out of pocket because of my loyalty and the great care I received. Again, I went to see him annually for about 25 years, and bought contacts or glasses from him about 20 of those years.I now have vision insurance. I used the online system to make an appointment the other day. Today I received a letter saying I was being released from their care. as the practice has grown to full capacity. I received the letter Feb 6 and called Feb 10 and was told they are accepting new appointments. So, basically, this was a LIE.I get he has to make money. Hes been in business for years so no doubt he is. Too bad the loyalty doesnt go both ways.This rating is low solely because of this lack of loyalty--and I suspect in large part its because I didnt purchase my glasses there a few years ago. At that appointment, he was insinuating that was what I should do despite the cost. By law, you are not required to do so.If you have insurance or a lot of money, if you plan to spend money and buy your glasses there, you will get great care.So much for loyalty. So much for longevity.The upside for me is that I found someone a few miles from my house instead of traveling 25 miles to go to GVC.

I have been going to GVC for 28 years from when I used to wear eye glasses, and then Dr. Baron made it possible for me to wear contacts without bifocals. Worked great and I never looked back. GVC has been instrumental in keeping my eyes healthy and vision good. Dr Baron is a true professional in every way - appearance, state-of-the-art care, keeping up to date on the latest techniques, instruments, and studies, and genuinely caring about his patients.
