The parts operation manager was very knowledgeable and professional. He knew exactly what I needed for my mower and was a pleasure to work with. Service department did a good job too. I will definitely go back!
If you do not have a John Deere tractor don’t call this place… I had the company that makes my tractor give there number to check if they had something to fit mine and they basically told me to get lost unless I have a John Deere. I’d rather fabricate something on my own than be talked to like they did.
Mr. Keith and all the folks at Quality Equipment in Goldsboro were very nice and helpful. I got me a new Z930M from them and I love the mower, this thing rides like a Cadillac. Thank yall

Hello Friends. I have always been a firm believer in passing it forward and recognizing those for a job well done. It is something that was instilled within me by my parents and it stuck. With that in mind, please let me share a recent experience with you.About 18 years ago I purchased a John Deere Lawn Tractor. It has served me well but it was time to retire the old workhorse and get a new one. The first person I thought of was Keith Lane. Keith is not only a good friend and a great person, he just happens to work at Quality Equipment, LLC in Goldsboro, NC, a John Deere Dealer! I contacted Keith about my needs. He was more than helpful, very patient, and knew exactly what I needed....Here is the passing it forward part. I could have just as easily purchased my new Lawn Tractor locally here in Charlotte, NC but knowing Keith the way I do, it was well worth the 8 hour round trip from Charlotte, NC to Goldsboro, NC to do business with a friend. Rode an hour and a half there to view a John Deere x500. When I got there, the two salesman both were out. Luckily one of the kind gentleman contacted one of the salesman and he located the mower. I admit the mower was used but it looked worse in personThe gentleman was able to jump start the mower and the engine ran decent. The deck would not lock into place and the transmission when in reverse seemed to slip. The seat was beaten up and needed to be replaced. I had seen enough and decided to leave. I did contact Keith to see if he would come down to $500 and he stated he had more in the mower than that and would not come. Yes the mower is used, yes it needs a good bit of work done to it. However, I felt after making the drive, now 3 hours, there could be have been some concession, but no. I would not buy from there based on my experience.
Went in to look at a mower, wanted information mostly as i plan to purchase in the next 2 weeks. Salesmen were out and I felt like I wasnt important enough for anyone else to help since I was turned away. I went elsewhere and got the information i needed. I will not be purchasing anything hereUpdate: I was assisted. Someone walked with me out the front door and told me a salesman would be back at 1pm.

Called. Told what type of lawn mower (not John Deere). She said bring it in for repair. Hooked up trailer, loaded mower, got there and then was told they couldn’t repair since wasn’t a John Deere.She first walked away telling me to go around..around where? Someone else told me what she meant.Very unprofessional, poor customer service!!
Bought a gt235 back in 03.The service dept has made a believer out of me.Not sure of the gentlemans name but hes awesome. Angies cool too.Knowing they are there would be a reason i would go back to buy a replacement. It even has a name. THE BEAST. Looks a little bad even after 3 face lifts.(New Hoods).But we still get it done.

Purchased a JD X350 here recently. Keith Lane was really helpful in advising me about the purchase and showing me its features. He also took the mower to me about an hour and a half past the close of shop time at Quality Equipment and waited while I tried out the mower on my lawn. Also, about a year ago I had a problem before with a Honda walk-behind mower that I had purchased there and their service department fixed it at no charge to me because it was not due to any mechanical failure but due to something that had lodged and caught the PTO belt. I think that most shops would have charged a customary default service charge (some do even for diagnostic services) but they didnt. I really like this company. Even though they deal mostly with farm equipment, it seems that they have room for the small guy, as well.

Took a lawn tractor and a push mower in for repair. Did not call when they were ready. When I called to follow-up I was on hold for over 10 minutes before finding out the one person i needed to talk to wasnt there and noone could give me a price for the repairs. This was not a good first experience. Bumped up the star rating after mower service was excellent.
No one was wanting to sale anything so i went elsewhere
