They didnt honor coupon... because items were regular low price. Also back aisles hard to get through and there were a lot of people too close...hard to navigate safely. Front area was spacious.

The inventory is good and the staff is very knowledgeable-any of them can tell you the aisle of almost anything without much thought.

Manager would not honor a non labeled discontinued clearance yarn for .99c. Never coming here again. They don’t trust the experienced customer. I provided proof of the yarn label with a picture of the same yarn.

The stocking of this store is a joke. Everything I go in for is missing. So many shelves are empty, and people on the floor are usually difficult to find and can be rude. I feel like I always have to apologize when asking for assistance. The only consistently kind person is one of the long term checkers, who is a pleasant contrast to the other individuals. Unfortunately, I have had to go to other companies online, and dont have to convenience of shopping in this store in person.

Michaels must be named after Michelangelo because every time I walk in the store I find something new I want to try. From fun arts and craft projects, to painting my own Renaissance self portrait. Michaels has it all including the right frames to frame your masterpieces. During the holidays, youll always find something heartwarming to decorate or create. I love Art and Im grateful to have a Michaels close to home. Like Michelangelo said, Im Still Learning and Michaels offers allot to learn.

This Michaels located out off of Fairview Ave in Goleta, in same shopping center as Bed, Bath and Beyond and Miners Ace Hardware.Adequate parking lot area. Lots of selections for crafts by season, silk flowers, picture frames, photo albums and craft supplies.Fun place to visit for creative idea generation. Good sale item pricing and can receive discount coupons upon check out or via email/circular flyer.

Went into the goleta, ca michaels today. Store is very clean and easy to find what I needed. As I headed to checkout an employee, who I believe was a manager, was talking to another employee in the middle of the aisle that led to checkout. He had his mask pulled down. Other employee was wearing hers properly. I am high risk and ventured out because I heard Michaels was following strict CDC protocols. Will not be returning which bums me out. Very disappointed

Have lots of great items, but sometimes hard to find. Aisles are not labeled accurately and staff can also not know where things are located.

Michaels is a great place to find almost anything for your kids school projects. I recommend this place to anyone who likes to do arts and crafts. However, it is a bit pricey.

A smaller store, but lots of necessary items if not a large selection. Have a list when you go to facilitate ease of selection. Store displays designed to spark your crafting imagination: be focused. Take your coupon and dont use the shabby bathroom facilities unless its any port in a storm situation.

Great craft store with everything from party supplies to jewelry making...frames,, everything that you might need!

Friendly staff and well organized shelving. However, I was disappointed to find out that if you need watercolor pallet you need to buy a pad of 30, although at a non specialized store like Staples you could buy 10 only if needed. We also bought double sided tape that was displayed in two sections of the store, same reference and bar code, but with a different price. We got charged the higher price at check out.

I need it to kill a few minutes and this is a great place to look at things, they have so many I especially like to look at their jewelry crafting

Not well stocked in the art supply department. Low stock on brushes and what was there were scattered in the wrong places and many were unusable.

Sales associates are all very helpful, and knowledgeable about their store, and its products. Very helpful with older gals, too, with what coupons give the customer the best deals. Have only had very positive experiences in this store. Lots of checkout registers, to get you through a long line, and out of the store!

I live for this store. I am in awe of the sheer scope of crafting products offered. They have a great selection of yarn, and you can find even more colors and greater quantity online once you find a yarn you like. The staff is so friendly too, and they get excited about your projects right along with you.

I took decorating cake class in 2011. all 4 classes with the teacher name Jannie. she is very nice teach us with passion. I who have no basic of bakery when i start now i loved to bake. I baked and decorated for my two daughters birthday and my boss 1 st anniverary. but they always a long line when i checked out.

Shop the sales.

Store is very convenient and fairly cheap but it is very large. It needs some sort of directory other than the signs above the isles. The people working there are very helpful but super busy so they are hard to find.

What a great store! I was like a kid in Toys-R-Us! I love arts and crafts, so I automatically love stores that carry products for such, at great prices too! This location got 5 stars because it was very neat, clean, and organized (and they have a TON of product!), it was easy to navigate and find what I came in for (although easy to get side tracked!), and the staff was wonderful!! The check out line was long, but I only waited about 30 seconds to 1 min. before getting rung up. I was trying to find my coupon in my sea of emails, and the cashier just manually applied it and cheerfully said, No problem...I got it! What a great store, what a great staff!

Michaels is pretty nice. It is laid out just like every other Michaels youve been in. I went in for some glass food containers and it was much less expensive the Bed, Bath, and Beyond next door. The only thing I dont like about Michaels is how generic a lot of their stuff is. Items arent very specialized in my opinion. Also they have limited choice of fabrics.

A great Michaels. The only reason it gets 4 stars is that the bathroom is always kind of yucky. Not very dirty, just messy. Which always strikes me as odd, because its a craft store with crafty people. Crafty people usually have nice bathrooms...

Unlike many stores, they dont move stuff around, so I know Ill always be able to find what I need fairly fast. There are always staff around offering assistance. The only complaint I have is that the lines for the checkout are always long.

My framing order was supposed to be done on April 1, 2013. Today is April 13 and I am still waiting. After not getting a phone call, as told that I would get, I went to check on my order on April 11. Not only could they not find my artwork piece to be framed but I was told that they would do it that afternoon and call me. Again, no phone call. I just called and spoke to the same employee who told me it would be done two days ago.Today, I was told that they did find the piece, but she has not had time to finish it. They should get it done tomorrow. This employee told me twice that the April 1 date was just an estimate, really? - its been two weeks longer than promised. How much longer should a customer be expected to wait? NEVER AGAIN. She also told me that the number I left them did not work. I left them my office number. It is a correct number. I gave her a different number two days ago, she didnt use that number either. ???Where is the customer service at this place? The employees dont care and the place is poorly managed. I asked for the manager and was told that the person is not there. Wont be there tomorrow either. Who ensures quality? Does anyone care?

Good location and easy access. Has everything you would expect in a Michaels. They always have in store discounts and coupons available so you can save money every time. Never had any issues with the employees, they have always been friendly and helpful.
