The staff and patrons here were kind, friendly, and wonderfully nerdy. Local game stores should feel like a home away from home for nerds, and though Im not local, it was clear Zenergy Gamers was an inclusive space for regulars and newcomers alike.

We first visited this game shop on yesterday after it was recommended to my 6 year old as a good spot to buy Pokemon cards. Ill be honest, I wasnt sure what to expect bringing two little boys with a few dollars of crumpled allowance into a hobbyist shop, but I was blown away be the level of customer service we received.The employees working the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming to my kids. They went above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable, gave great advice about how to build their collections, and loaded both boys down with free extras. They also invited us back for their weekly Pokemon Sunday event, which we checked out today with a few friends. We brought 5 kids 10 and under and every one of them left feeling like Pokemon masters and again, with lots of prizes from their makeshift little kid tournament. They even gave us cute activity books for our youngest Pokemon trainers which was such a thoughtful extra touch.I cannot recommend this shop highly enough for anyone with budding card or board game enthusiasts. This is definitely going to be our new spot to spend allowance money and pick out birthday presents. Im so excited to have found such a lovely locally owned spot in Goose Creek. We cant wait to come back for another Pokemon Sunday!

Zenergy is a very clean and well put together TCG shop. The players and owner/workers are very cool and nice. They have a good collection of Pokémon, MTG and 40k. If I lived in south Carolina this would be my go to store.

The staff was personable, patient, and so willing to help out find everything I was looking for. The guy helping me (I forgot to ask his name) got me the MTG cards I was specifically searching for, he demoed dice for me to see if the dice gods smiled upon the sets I wanted, he upselled me on things he thought I would be interested in. I am definitely going back soon. Nothing but good experiences here

I bring my kids in here at a minimum of twice a week to look at Pokémon cards. Zynergy is amazing and the people are awesome. I wish more places operated like they do.

The staff here goes above and beyond for all of their customers. Every time I go in the store I bring 50 questions about Magic the Gathering cards along. The owners politely listen and answer all my questions. They are extremely knowledgeable regarding the magic sets and what is in them.The other customers/players are great too. Everyone is always extremely nice and helpful to new players. When I was new one of the other players gave me around 500 cards for free to help me get started. Just this week I gave away around 700 cards to help someone else get started.When you shop here your money is going back into your community. The owners live in your town, shop at the same stores as you, and their employees are your neighbors.There is no downside to shopping here, it truly is a wonderful place.

Decent hobby store with tables inside to do a little gaming. Whether its CCGs, Tabletop roleplaying, or strategic battle games.

I sold some Magic cards to them and was very pleased with their professionalism. The employees and owners are trustworthy and seem to genuinely be good people.

Dropped by this little gem of a place for the first time in a year or two and wow has it grown up they have tons of great stuff in stock and it looks like they’re about to expand their gaming area! Wow this is definitely going to become a must see game for me!

They sell Magic the Gathering, Yugioh, and Pokemon at high prices. The people behind the desk clearly didnt care I was in the store and seemed to be annoyed I was there. After the first time I wont be back.

Stephen is always excellent! A great place for me to come “nerd out”! I always look forward to come here about once every two weeks (and always spend more than I was planning) and seeing what great items they have! There’s a great selection of Pokémon singles too, which isn’t something you can say about a lot of card stores in the area. Always worth the 30 minute drive through Charleston traffic and 15 minute walk to my car!

Ive known Andrew for over 20 years and the good, wholesome, and respectable man Ive known has trickled into his places of business. Every time I go there, Im treated, not only with the utmost respect from the staff, the manager, Stephen and his gallant staff, Waffles, Max, and newcomer Rebecca, work tirelessly to see that the customers and my needs are met with a smile!!! If you are a serious collector, Zenergy Gamers is the premier spot to check out. With their new addition to the main store opening in the very near future, this spot will meet all of your trading card needs. As a regular customer I can attest that this shop is a model for other shops to aspire to. I play MTG, EDH format primarily, and this shop’s selection of singles is of high quality and varied. It also turns over regularly as the shop buys collections and the community snaps up the treats. If I were to be critical of their singles market it would be the organization of singles that are worth less than about $5.I also play Pokémon. The shop’s Pokémon singles currently lean more towards a collector’s interest but if you’re looking for that rare Charizard or Pikachu, this is the place.They support a wide variety of other TCGs and miniatures gaming as well. My understanding is that they have the largest selection of War Hammer product for several hundred miles.The gaming area is about as comfy as it can get. Restaurant quality chairs and dining style tables, not folding chairs and tables. The lighting is incandescent canned lights that provide a comfortable ambiance, not a fluorescent hell. The shop has a variety of snacks and drinks available too.

The staff here know their stuff. I went to buy a booster for my nephews Pokemon collection. However, Ive been out of the dex a while and they asked me a few questions and recommended the perfect trainer box. My nephew has been sleeping with the box for two weeks now he loved the present so much lol. I wouldnt have been able to nail the gift without the help I received there. He literally told me Youre the best Uncle Blake! and I cannot tell you how much that was worth to me. Ill be going here indefinitely.

I am a returning magic player after 9 years away and with no collection. Zenergy and its community have been incredibly welcoming and helpful. For instance Stephen and Lori spent 3 hours helping me build a modern deck from the singles in store. I cannot recommend this store enough.

I’m don’t know his name, but the owner who also has a stand at the flea market is extremely rude and very unprofessional. Been to the store before when he wasn’t there and everything was great, but came in today with my girlfriend and he was rude to us, as well as, didn’t want to refund my money for a funko pop that is worth $15 and he told me it was $30. If you are a funko pop collector go to soundwave or palmetto gaming. I live 5 mins down the road from Zenergy and I will not be returning ever again!!!!!**Make sure you check your receipt and the value of the item you are buying because the owner will charge you a different item that is worth more than the item you are buying. He charged me $30 for a $15 item and I called him out on it.**

Kenny and Lori are the best! In my opinion this is one of the better gameshops that I have been apart of! Decent level of competitive play in a family friendly environment. Fair pricing, will do anything to help you and if they dont have something they will order it for you wide variety of products, events, and they listen to their customers if issues arise. They are always welcoming and have a great staff as well. If you are looking for a magic shop in the Charleston area look no further than Zenergy because they know how to get their game on!

The owner of this place is an elitist jerk. Asked him if he bought trading cards. He said yes. I brought said cards, as a lot, to him. He tried to pick out the 4 best cards of about a dozen or so. Then he wanted a box of cards that was in the lot, for pennies. He would not buy it as a lot and split it up. He also said he will only buy things at a third of their value. This is not buying to resell, this is trying to STEAL cards. Kids, dont be like this jerk. He thought he could get one over on me, no, not today Satan!

I like this Store, admire its theme and goal to provide a good, safe environment for like minded people to share their hobbies and lifestyles with one another... I know theres a following of collectible in most aspects and walks of life. With that there are monetary values based on a variation of attributes (quality), supply and demand with other factors that define the amount that is to be expected in exchange for said.. All of which seems to be pretty common knowledge, but there is a huge angle that most do not see or just dont care speak of if they do. This is also one angle that me as a human being I see being used as leverage to exploit, abuse and to profit more. this is that of the knowledge of and in subject matter specifics vs. a ignorance of such in the same subject matter... In this case and that many others as well, I know very little of these variables. Thus is the very reason I seek out those that deem themselves as what I consider to be competent persons in the field or on the subject matters. At Zenergy there is no shortage of knowledge on there subject and wares. This does not mean that when a person, such as myself, whom is admittedly not as well versed in the matter to be treated as if I was in to your store to cause harm or any of the such. This also does not mean that because i am ignorant in the subject matter that said could be exploited or leveraged to increase potential profits...... They know as well as i do that the problem lay not with my ignorance and compassion to conserve there collectibles. It aggravates people that are passionate about something to watch or have to pay another that does not share the same passion. Share the knowledge and be fair with every one as you would exspect amongst your like-minded people.

Management just changed. It is now run by one of the scummiest swindlers Ive ever met, who also runs a stand at the flea market. Ive watched this guy rip off children, and he will do anything for a dollar, including lying to you about the value of your cards. Total creepThis is a shame, as this store was awesome due to their management and became a hub for gamers.

Amazing place alot of different items

The moment I walked in I was bombarded with nostalgia seeing Mega Man, TNNT and other NES games playing on the multiple game consoles inside. They sell most tabletop and TCG games including the largest selection of Dragon Ball in the area. The staff was extremely knowledgable and friendly. If you even are remotely interested in games or are looking for a gift that you cant find online, try this store.
