When visiting Grand Forks, this is my go to service station for my car or truck. Very helpful staff. Professional. It has a lounge to wait for your vehicle that is clean and welcoming.

Awesome place. They will do services like a fuel filter change or a coolant flush with no appointment necessary. I’ve honestly never encountered any place like that. Usually when you want that those types of services you’re going to be waiting a few days to a week or more. The staff was friendly and courteous to boot.After my oil change my oil pressure light came on. I thought they had forgotten to put oil back in. I drove it back and they got me right back in. They checked my oil and even invited me under the car to take a look. The oil was full. I’m not a professional mechanic but I know enough about my car to know what’s what. It turns out I had a faulty oil pressure sensor. Nothing they did caused it and I left satisfied with the outcome. They’re honest and fast.

Wow! I pulled up with a flat tire and was immediately prompted to leave my car where it was. The entire crew took over and changed my tire within minutes. I was invited to sit in the waiting room and after 10 minutes the job was complete. The guys were friendly and didnt waste my time or money. Im actually excited to go back to this place if I ever need auto repair.

Had an oil filter on my vehicle that another place tried and failed to take off twice. This crew replaced it and changed oil in less than 10 minutes for half the price.

Late review but honestly I feel the need to rate these guys! Mr. Ross was a very professional and technical in his skill. He coordinated our maintenance before his leave and saw took care of use cradle-to-grave. I would do no justice if I don’t rate them. 5 stars because they went above and beyond what I needed them to do. Picked up the part rather than had it delivered with additional charge, and found the lowest rate around the local area then beat it. I felt like a familiar face although it was our first time there. Oh, plus we just moved here, so they were our first impression of this city.

Decent place to get oil change for your car

Serious service & I’ve got an e450 7.3L diesel, shuttle bus conversion with a high chimney top. Was in and out without wait and they seem to be able to handle any similar style RV. Glad to have them address with a reasonable price. Friendly team & I’d return for sure. Thank ya’ll

The mechanics were very professional. During the age of Covid we pulled into the garage ourselves and stayed in the car. It was an unusual experience but very pleasant the mechanics were very friendly and very helpful.

Able to quickly get an oil change done. The guy asked what type of oil and gave all the prices. They checked the fluids, lights, and were very friendly. I would go back to this place everytime I need an oil change

Ok just had the worst experience there. They charge $38.99 for an oil change on my Ford Escape. I brought my OWN OIL and they only gave me $5 off the whole service.... plus they were not friendly and all looked like they hated their lives. Also, when I got into my car there was grease on my steering wheel and handles. YUCK! Overall I will not go there again because it was the biggest rip off of my life.

After the oil change I drove off then my oil warning light came on. Long story short they forgot to put a washer for the bolt back on. Luckily I made it back to them in time so hopefully no significant damage to my car

Easily accessible from 32nd Ave South. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Average market prices for oil change and air filter replacement. Fast service. Icing on the cake is they have free homemade cookies and mini waters for customers. I would recommend to others and I will personally be back for future service.

I wouldve given them zero stars but it wouldnt post unless I put one. My sister received the worst customer service that Ive ever heard of someone having actually. She went there for a simple oil change and the guys tried to bully, yes bully her into having her car battery changed. She declined to have it changed when they quoted her on a high priced battery because she hasnt had any issues with hers and, only wanted her oil changed. They gave her major attitude for not changing her battery and, at one point even told her that she better remember this when shes stranded somewhere. She drove her car there and didnt have any issues with it until she went to start her car to leave after her oil was changed, then it wouldnt start! They had to pull it back in to the shop and jump start it. They also bent her windshield wipers when they inspected them. I get that they have a check list that they must complete with each car, but they were beyond rude when she declined further services. They tried to take advantage of my sister who is a fulltime student who must budget her money. I will never get my car serviced there.

Awesome place to get your vehicle serviced. Quick and reliable and doesnt force any unnecessary sales on you! You go in and get what you need and get out without a million questions about if you want this and that done to your vehicle unlike other places! They are also honest and upfront about your vehicle making sure your understand whats going on with it and possible repercussions of not doing a certain service but they also do not make you feel pressured to apply that service!

We have taken our cars to these guys for years. They have always been amazing and have never been pushy nor have they ever made me feel uncomfortable for not knowing exactly what they are talking about. Not to mention they always have coffee and cookies while my car gets worked on.

Stopped to get a gas filter changed on our way home from fishing in Devils Lake. Called around to many auto repair companies and couldn’t get in for days. They were able to get us in and out quick so we could get back to the Twin Cities.

Friendly. Good quick service. Overall pretty good. Try to upsell you to change your air filters which is nice if you need it but theyll ask you even if its obvious you dont need to change them (in hopes that the average person doesnt know that air filters look dusty even when they are in serviceable condition)

Ross and the crew will give you A+ service every time you head in. They are honest about what needs to be done and will never sell you something you dont need. They go over the paperwork every time and break things down to a simple level. Look forward to seeing them every 3,000 miles.

Staff here went out of his way to get me in to fix a failed alternator one Saturday. Ended up charging me less than anticipated. Also were great on other visits. Highly recommend!

They didnt try to get her to buy any extras or any of the shady up sell tactics used by other oil change places.Grease Monkey has definitely earned our trust and our business for years to come.Update 12/4/12After several more oil changes it was time to change the spark plugs on our 100K+ vehicle. I also had a few other items that I thought it might need but they were honest me and told me the vehicle didnt really need them.I cant say enough good things about this place. Honesty goes a long way with me. I think most customers would agree. If you are apprehensive at all about taking your car in to get service I can assure you that you will leave there better than when you went in.And did I mention that they have fresh, hot, cookies there every day! For free!

I was amazed at the people there. They are so professional and nice! I have a hybrid vehicle that has a hidden air filter that is very difficult to reach. Some mechanics (in a different state) even refused to do it cuz they thought it would take them ah hour or longer. Next time I took it to the Ford center thinking that there they should know how to change air filter in my Ford C max. It took them soooo long, though they did it :) but today I had no expectations for changing air filter, just wanted the oil change. And guess what, the employee showed me the dirty air filter that should be changed and asked me if I want this service. I was sooo happy to hear that because I kind of gave up on changing air filter since noone knows how to do it, but they knew and did it so fast! I guess I found my favourite place for oil and air filter change!!!
