I wouldn’t recommend because sales people are unwilling to come down on machines even by $100. The freight and set up fee is very expensive on most models, I know a lot of dealerships that don’t have this expense. Although the Fargo Honda dealership isn’t much better. A little more flexibility is what I would like to see on New and used.
Based upon multiple interactions. I must say first, there is one guy in the service department that was nice, knowledgeable, and customer oriented. Unfortunately, Ive only had the pleasure of dealing with him once on picking up my bike after a warranty tire replacement. Otherwise, calling is met with too many I dont knows or sending you to parts. Called to get a quote for service. I know my bike is old (1981), but they were unable to quote me on a fork seal replacement other than, 3-5 hours of labor and Id have to talk to parts (and had to have my vin, which they already have) to get a price for the seals. Most recently, after the tire replacement, I noticed that the rear keeps going flat. Checked everywhere and found the valve core leaking. Filled up the tire and rode over to have them fix it. Was sent to parts. Informed him the issue and was basically informed it wasnt their problem and that they dont carry valve cores. I informed them again, that it did not leak prior to them replacing the tires and was given a valve stem from a desk drawer, this is all I have. I swear it seems that the record scratches when I walk in. I have only once felt like I was a customer and not a burden. Fortunately I am able to make my own repairs and, for those outside my ability or desire, I will HAPPILY ride or trailer to Fargo or somewhere else that doesnt feel like Im bothering someone where I planned to spend money!
Parts department guys should be just fired! Went to ask a few questions and try Purchase some parts But faced with two guys would not help and rude attitude, finally had to ask the salesman to help me out.Ive noticed Im not the only one thats have this issue lately
I bought a used 2018 seadoo rxpx from them and they never disclosed it was a prior buyback, I dont care if it was an auction item. I wouldnt have purchased the item from them knowing this. I found out from university motors that it was a buyback and seadoo wasnt willing to help. The only reason I found out was because my local dealer opened a case. They dont care and know I am stuck with a 6000 dollar repair. I understand they resell auction items, the difference for me was not knowing it was a previous lemon. No you didnt offer to help.
Parts department made me feel like I was wasting their time, very unhelpful and rude. Would not recommend dealing with these jokers.
I carried in two motorcycle tire and wheels to be balenced. They tires were already mounted on the wheels. Not on the bike. Came back later and was charged 110 dollars for the balance job. I was floored. They would not budge on the price. One month later I walked by the bike and the wheel weights have fallen off and are laying on the ground. The stick on weights did not stick. Rip-off and poor quality work. Will never return.
Dirt bikes and great service.
Good. Great technicians.
Service department is cocky and lacking knowledge on older Polaris items. I went in for a bulb for a polaris xplorer 400 ATV dual headlamp and both times they got it wrong. Thank GOD for Walmart because I typed in the info listed above and got the correct build, 1/2 week later the light is working again.
Pure and simple - poor customer service. My opinion is based off of multiple interactions in different departments and my experience has been consistent in every case. Multiple trips to the parts/service department only to experience rude employees. In fact, yesterday while waiting to be helped, I witnessed the employees make fun of a customer who was asking for help over the phone. On another occasion I wanted to purchase two outboard motors but was told the sales rep wasnt in (working that day) so I should just come back another day. What!? Sorry, Im not on YOUR schedule. Either staff appropriately or do your best to help the customer. I knew exactly what I wanted and just needed someone to tell me if they had them available and then write up the sale...but...I wasnt even able to tell them that - just come back tomorrow. So, I purchased elsewhere. In todays retail environment customer service is the ONLY thing that separates one business from another. Other businesses sell recreational equipment and I can order parts online....and thats exactly what Ill do. I support local business but wont be supporting this one. I am from Grand Forks and believe every business is a representative of their community and Revolutions Power Sports does not do Grand Forks justice.
Great store..very clean with good selection of toys and gear. Steve at the parts counter is great to work with.
Service is terrible. Brought my 900 Ranger in early spring for full service and new belt. Took it home, drove down gravel roads and belt broke again. Now they say clutch is shot also. They went through the clutch first time and said it looked good.
This place rocks!
Parts is awesome
I found out that the engine on my FYM 250 is the exact same as a Honda CB250 engine from the early 90s. But because it says FYM on the crankcase cover they dont want to work on it. They say they dont have time, though I told them Im not in a hurry for it. Will be picking it up ASAP before it disappears or parts become missing off of it. SMDH.Edit: now they are making up every excuse in the world to not let me come pick up my motorcycle Im afraid I may have to get legal action involved here.
I blew a rear tire on my motorcycle on a Friday night just outside of Grand Forks and had my bike delivered to Revolutions. They were able to work on my bike on Saturday morning and replace both front and rear tires, getting me back on the road that afternoon so I could be in Rochester before dark. I felt the service to be exceptional. Nice group of guys.
The CS is VERY poor. My kids purchased a brand New Yetti Ice house. They have been waiting since December 2018 for them to fix it, with no answers as of today Aug 23, 2019. Rediculous! I feel theyre taking advantage of a young couple. They would have liked to use this unit for summer camping as well. Today they will go Get it and just fix it themselves. Very disappointed with this business. I encourage them to turn them into the BBBDONT BUY FROM REVOLUTION AND EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
REVIEWING SERVICE DEPARTMENT: Took 9 business days to get my wheels back and the tires mounted on (that I had dropped off with the wheels) and balanced. When I received ny wheels not only did I not get my tires back I had asked to keep but they had also removed the protective surface on my white wall tires that I still had to install onto my motorcycle. Aside from this getting in contact with their service department is an absolute chore as they answer their phone maybe 25% of the time and when I finally had gotten through my tires were done and just sitting in their shop while I had received no call if any kind. Will not use their service department again.
Nice quick fair purchase.. thanks Keith.
What a wonderful experience with Revolutions Power Sports! Saturday morning at the lake, 250 hp Mercury Verado wouldnt start, giving error messages on SmartCraft. Called Revolutions, spoke with Jake who gave me advice on what to check. Jake gave me his personal cell phone number and told me he was going to start calling around to other dealers to try find the suspected problem part. He said to call his personal cell phone to get updates and advice so I was sure to get through. He finally diagnosed the problem over the phone and advised me how to repair. I havent had service like that for I dont know how long, probably never!! Thanks to Jake and his above and beyond the call of duty service I spent the weekend fishing instead of sitting in a lawn chair! Thanks again Jake and Revolutions!!
My fav store.
Unreliable service department
Only needed a tyre swapped on a loose bike wheel, they got it done very quickly (in an hour). Staff seem knowledgeable. Pretty much anything bike / ATV needs including clothing and parts.
Bought a yfz 50 for my son we agreed a free helmet with the purchase after all paperwork was signed and deal was done they told me they couldnt give me a helmet after all . Its not a big deal to some but if you agree to something than back out after the deal is done its a no go for me . I will be going some where else when purchasing anything else even if its 4hrs away
Decent selection of everything little pricey on accessories typical dealership
Very poor when price on 2019 Polaris sled price last dec. And now was still the same but now I knew there was a rebate on it but was told today the same price included the rebate.thats not right so I wont be back.
Ive called on ~3-4 occasions in the past 3 years for various things...boats to ATV needs. These guys have never...NEVER had a good attitude or acted like the give a damn about what Im looking for. When they did have one thing I was looking for they were asking 2 or 3 times what anyone in their right mind would pay or that I could order online and pay shipping for.So tired of the cherry picking service industry in this area--if its not an easy fix and a quick buck they pass on it--never spending money with them again--go to Wheels in Fargo..theyll take care of you and are happy to discuss your needs. Plus...they dont keep bankers hours...9 am to 4 pm??? WTF?I wouldnt be happy if I owned this business--the people on their location are ruining any reputation they couldve ever had.
Slow, untrustworthy. Took my boat in for repairs, including a need for a check of the trailer lights. Took well over a month if not longer for them to call and say it was ready. Only to be told they didnt check the lights. Waiting for another three hours while they fix. Have a reservation at a campground an hour away and am missing out ony enjoyment. Will not be back
I like revolutions. Good people work there and there are a lot of fun things to look at there. Helmets, snow gear, boats, jet skis, snow cats, fourwheelers, side by sides, motorcycles, a bunch of stuff.
Great place... they had the parts I needed and Im up and running... thanks
Awesome place to go weather you are buying a new bike atv or ect. Also service is affordable and always have your parts finished in a quick manner.
Great group of individuals and a great shop. I have purchased 2 motorcycles from them and have had zero issues over the years. They stand by their work and if you have a problem with an item bought there they help as much as possible. Theyre the only place I would recommend buying a motorcycle, atv, or boat from. Definatly the best shop in northeast North Dakota without a doubt!!
Service sucks and owner will not call back after many messages
Very rude beardman from Service department / Forklifter. He tell, curse and have no patience allowing me to explain an issue.
Not sure why I stop here, they almost never have a common part (air filter this time). And a week to get it in? Come on!!! Amazon here we come again...
Very helpful at parts counter
Just dont2 weeks became end of season.Years back when I went to buy a bike I couldnt get help. Now a set of tires has become somewhere between 4 weeks and end of season.JUST DONT!
I bought a used snowmobile from Kelly I asked he run it thru shop before I bought it he did and he was real good to deal with no problems with the sled first Polaris Ive had and I like it
Nice staff and great show room
This place braps.
First of all I read all these reviews and there is an overwhelming number of poor reviews painting them out to be real idiots / bad guys ........... while some experiences may be true, its simply not the norm. I have ZERO bias with them and frankly thought Id never make a big purchase there as Im a guy willing to go anywhere for the best deal and internet makes that possible.Made up my mind I was going to buy new Ranger, scowered the internet and called many places. Well - with no negotiation Rev. had the best up front price period . They made it too easy for me to buy anywhere else. I made commitment on phone, my salesman handled all paperwork and I said Id be in the next day to pick up and agreed upon time .I showed up and the UTV was gassed up and cleaned sitting in front of building and they were ready for me with no wait . Sold me accessories at cost .Ps: parts have always been VERY pleasant to work with in many past dealings .I generally dont do reviews - but these guys are fine to deal with .No regrets here
Arrogant, diss-interested staff, extremely over-priced. They seem to think they have a monopoly on all they are selling since Westgate Marine closed down. Worth driving elsewhere for parts, service and dealing
The Lady I originally talked to was nice but when I was transferred to the motorcycle guy he was a douche bag and hung up on me after I asked him a question. This is not friendly service and they will not be getting my money.
Went in looking for a part, staff were no help and was actually a smartass. Also wanted ridiculous prices for simple services. Would recommend Tuftes in Northwood every time.
I purchased a boat from these folks. I had the roller trailer exchanged for a bunk trailer. The service department did not set the new trailer up to fit my boat. The boat sits below the fenders, the bunks are not set the same and are not straight. The boat is to far forward and the tongue weight is extremely heavy. When i called and asked if they would set the trailer up correctly i was told by my sales person that the trailer was ordered for this boat and therefore was set up correct. The service manager agreed with him. After a lengthly conversation the service manageer wanted me to bring the unit to the shop so he could look at it. This is not the first boat i have bought and i looked up on the internet how the trailers is supposed to be set up and it isnt even close. I will not recommend this service department to anyone.
Great service department very helpful finding what I needed
Their serivice department answers their phone only fifty percent of the time. They have failed on at least two occations to be able to order parts that I was able to find online with a quick google search.Their service department is ignorant and cares only about making a sale:They were sold out of the oil I normally use in my Honda VFR, but they sold me a substitute that two of their ervice technicians assured me would work. 5 miles down the road my clutch was slipping. I changed out the oil with the stuff I normally run (aquire from another shop) and my clutch immediately stopped slipping.
Had a dirt bike that needed some carb work (bike ran fine when I brought it in except a little boggish cold)$500 and 6 weeks later I was able to pick it up. Yeah. For carb work. They ended up ordering individual parts (needle, seals) installing it, waiting 1 week to get more parts, installing them, ordering more parts, etc. Have they not heard of a carb kit? Or at the very least, order every piece that would be in a kit.The service manager (John I believe) was good. There is a sales guy (works mostly with new boats and motorcycles) that works there that is a real jerk. Cant remember his name, but youll know who I am talking about immediately from his arrogant, I know everything attitude. I had ended up talking to him a couple times about the bike status and he likes to talk to you like you know nothing about nothing. I cannot believe they let this guy work there.Cannot urge you enough to bring it somewhere else (umotors in Fargo is real friendly). Or, heck, try out youtube. There is a how-to video for almost everything now days. Order from denniskirk (ships from minnesota by the way) and do it yourself. You can do this!
Great group of folks. Awesome showroom.
Slow and unprofessional.....go to Fargo and make the drive if you are able.
Very large selection of off road vehicles and street legal vehicles. But they are expensive compared to other places I seen.
Service 👍
I went up there during store hours to buy a motorcycle.. & they were closed. I stuck around a bit, thinking maybe they were out to lunch. In the 10-15 min I was there 4 other people came & left. I guess they’re just not interested in making money...
Anytime i try to go to or call this place theyre closed when theyre listed open
Helpful people
I call Revolutions because my Goldwing wouldnt start. They couldnt get me in for over 3 weeks due to to many prior commitments BUT DID give me the name and number of someone else they thought could help me.Needless to say, they didnt have to do that but they went out of their way to help me out. My bike is almost ready to pick up and ride again thanks to Revolutions help and referral.
Got there at 430saterday to get some parts but it was closed maps said it was open.
An alright place, didnt seem to have anything in stock of what we needed
Outstanding selection and Lon rocks!
Very nice place
Nice place good staff
Horrible service dont know there products and waited a day to get cause they had to go over it and fill the fluids but it was out of gas when I picked it up
Not friendly... on hold for five minutes
Crappy people. Expensive
Best Honda service around
Great customer service!!
Had what I needed he got it out of the trailer for me almost gave me a free hat but a few bucks off
Limited accessories. Limited sales floor.Unbearably long wait to have any work done.

Horrible.
