This is an okay flying J the lot is a little cramped, the spots are wide but they aren’t really long and if you’re in the second or third row it’s very easy to get stuck because there isn’t really enough room to pull out with how far back the first or second row sit. The lot gets completely flooded when it rains so be careful and wear your rain boots lol. The DEF seems to break down a few times a week in the winter. The store itself isn’t what j expect from Flying j no hot food (wings or pizza) just a subway. The lounge is closed because of covid which is the most ridiculous thing ever. The staff are nice. The bathrooms need an update they are absolutely terrible.

Fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and engaging! I enjoyed coming here. Also shower was good and plenty of parking on weekend.

This Flying J gets 4 stars mainly because they do all the important things right: showers are always available and clean/working well, employees are always attentive and helpful, and there’s plenty of parking. I’d give 5 stars if there was a 24 hour hot food option, even it was just pizza slices.

Absolutely disappointed/ disgusted about the staff, AMANDA specifically told me to get the f…ck out from her store just because I asked to cancel my cash advance if can not do it for free of charge, also called me a j…k just because of this,So i have not fuelled enough to get free of charge cash advance which is fair enough…. Just cancel it i am fuelling up every second day 150 gallons and i can get it on the next transaction…. It can not be cancelled because it is not possible.-Amanda….(i had it cancelled before so it is possible)What an absolute J…k i have to be to ask something like that from AMANDA ?????Hope she is looking for other job soon.I reported her and to Flying J guest service as well and i will report until she learn her lesson ….

I already called Flying J customer care regarding the incident here today and every time that happens when I come here. All I can is that if my employees in Fargo ever treated a customer like Amanda did to me today, they’d have to find a different job. It is Interesting how she assumed that all I was to her or why I was in today was because I was just a truck driver to her. As if that somehow solidified her rude behavior, at one point asking who I even drove for? I’ll change my rating if the regional manager actually calls and discusses what happened to me today here.

The coffee does not taste good at all, I guess drivers are not worth a good start...I cant wait for a truckstop that has consideration instead of cheaper avenues...

Just stopped for gas here this morning. Put in $30 worth of gas and got charged for $150 (used credit card at the gas tank, not in the store). Id stay away from here. Tried calling and no one answers the phone.

The staff from the flying j is very friendly and nice. The showers are very clean!!! For the truck stop I would give at least 4stars .Got a sub today from subway. This guy had the worst attitude ever. And he gave me an old dry bun which was totally disgusting.Paid 15$ and threw it away. Unacceptable!!!

This is actually one of the nicer Js. Restrooms and store in general are clean. People are polite from what I see something. Decent amount of truck truck parking. It is dated though. Pumps are hard to read.Js need to spend some money and update and repair many of their locations, just saying.Wouldnt mind having coat hooks in the stalls though. I mean, who doesnt have coat hooks in restroom stalls.

The place is fine but these days we have to be a stickler about hygiene and when I use the restroom and there are no females in the store except the one clerk you see. Long story short there was someone really using the bathroom not just #1 yall. And let me tell you they walked out of the bathroom without washing. When I left the bathroom I saw another female worker come from the subway side OMG I will not eat food here.

Pumps are always out of order and DEF randomly wont pump for some reason.

This is a very basic Flying J with decades of wear n tear. The pumps are old and always breaking. Poor drainage so if there is any precipitation you are trudging through several inches of water. Snow clearing is always done late so have fun trying to park if its mild out. Think slip and slid while trying to back in your trailer.Bathrooms need an update from the 80s.Would be nice if they were also cleaned more often etc..They have a subway but would trade it for a Taco bell or anything other than Subway.I wish I could think of some positive points.Ok I have it, the transflow system here has a printer so you can have your ACI Emanifest sent here by Tranflow or faxed so you can get back to Canada.LOL!

Absolute worst food. Corn dogs are very soggy. Roller grill is not fresh. Hamburgers have hard/crusty bun. Just terrible. Nothing is freshly made here.

Been here a lot over the years. Its a rather well kept and clean travel center. Its got all the normal amenities and a restaurant. The food is actually not half bad and sometimes there is even a deal or two that puts it at regular fast food prices. I think the chicken strips are always a safe bet if your in a hurry. Its easy to get on and off the interstate from as well which is always big bonus.

NO MORE !Purchased a biscuit ( sausage /egg/cheese) at full price although a discount available in the app ( PAID WITH CASH AND POINTS using the app bar code, so I presented the thing).Hand sanitizer for free with any purchase. I picked up one very small bottle (not greedy) from that basket near the counter. Charged me $3. 1st pic showing $3 bottle, 2nd the free one); may be smart by mixing non free ones with the free ones. In my view: CON ARTIST.NEVER BACK HERE AND PROMOTE THIS ATTITUDE TO AS MANY POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS AS POSSIBLE.Below, previous concerns..(some fixed though)..:Reported pump issues many months ago. Nice people. Very willing to help. But, with all of the snow, they refuse to plow the parking lots. Everything is very slick. If you have a diesel truck, their def pumps are frozen. Im sure that things may be different if the weather was better.

Stopped here on the way to northern MN. Big parking lot with ample truck parking and store is nice and clean.

This used to be five star when the restaurant was here, now. It feels like a convince store. But its grand forks.Used to be my stop while working here. Its cold n windy here, plenty of parking at any hour. I so recommend eating before you get here. Its got great showers here. No G.m. here. So lazy is the atmosphere. I suggest eating at sta Mart before the run north.

It’s a good Flying J. They seem to be updating it. Employees are usually great but a couple that have no care and would rather be on their phone. Overall good place for anyone to stop. Decent Semi Parking as well.

Nice gas station. Everything from the bathrooms to the cafe to the service is top-notch.Ive been going to the station for years before it was the Flying J and it is still that awesome atmosphere.Its also nice because its on the west part of town just over 29 Bridge. The subway is a nice touch. The gas pumps work well for both truckers and people passing through. My favorite Station in Grand Forks by far.

Nice and clean. Employees were very friendly. Stopped in to fill up my propane tank and the attendant was marvelous. Easy on and off the freeway. Only thing I find missing was the sit-down restaurant. They do have fast food and sandwiches but no place to sit and relax.

If you had 12oz. Cans of pop Id give you 5 Stars.. The place is really nice. With some great deals on Caps and UND shirts and sweatshirts.

One stop shopping for gas, Diesel and LP refill. Showers are available for truck drivers. Inside is a Subway for quick to go food although there is an attached Restaurant for a good sit down meal. It has a selection of items inside as you would find in any convienance store plus a section with CB radios, parts etc. Very nice staff, very clean.

I think that this is a good gas station. There are a lot of things here. Subway, there was another restaurant and now they might be building a new one. This place is also good for truckers because there are nice big bathrooms and there are showers. There also a big area to fill up and park your truck for the night.

Great food, Great service! We used to stop in here for Post Bar meals and now come in when we are in town with the kids for a filling meal. The portions are huge, the staff is flexible (yes they will substitute some things). Free drink refills for a no frills fill your belly experience.I cannot comment on the truck parking, showers, etc. However the bathrooms are always clean, the refrigerators fully stocked and the gas ready to pump to keep you moving along the road.

Decent place to stop. Pretty clean and the staff were pretty friendly. The biggest problem I have with this place is theres NO restaurant. Only a Subway. No deli either! There was a nice restaurant here before Pilot took over, but they were forced to leave.

They should either have decent food available after 11pm or take down the 24 hr restaurant signs. Cant even get a sub from Subway after 11...never been so disappointed with a so called Truck Stop in my life !! I can maybe understand the restaurant being closed because of the number of people needed to run it properly and efficiently....but closing the Subway ???? It only takes one person to run that overnight !!!! And what does the guy behind the fuel desk tell us ??? Well there are a couple of restaurants downtown that are open !!! How the hell are we supposed to get downtown with 2 semis with 53ft trailers ??? Its no wonder the trucking industry is going downhill and places like this are what is helping it get there !!!

Staff is good at flying J. Shower is clean. But parking lot doesnt have marking lines for parking. Subway experience is not good. She put two small scoop of chicken and then i said its not two scoops but she didnt agree and said its two scoops but i was talking about quantity not counting.

I like going to the Flying J Travel Center (but I do like to go to truck stops in general anyway) . The place is clean and the people are friendly. They have the requisite snacks drinks and hot food that you expect to find at a truck stop. The only thing that I take issue with is that in the womens bathroom the doors on the Stalls need to be overhauled. They used to host a restaurant but there isnt one there at this time.

Really need to do some work in this parking lot, at least paint some lines for the spaces. Trucks pretty much just park wherever. Inside was decent, looks like it was remodeled in the last few years, bug the lot is a disaster.

Nice clean showers plenty of hot water. The parking lot is always to small and so many local use this as a drop yard. Good service company int he same parking lot.

Typical FlyingJ. It’s older so it’s set up differently. Staff are nice. Shower was clean. No restaurant. Only a subway. Wish there was more parking. Here when the road is closed and people don’t know how to park... but with that said, need more parking. No way anyone can get out in the back row.

Its a nice truck stop. Clean restrooms. Good food and has had enuf hired hand on staff. At least thats what I noticed

Met some friends here. Thought of all the sick and wrong things that I have done in flying j truckstop across the United states. I feel welcome there even when I dont have money and just need to warm up, write, or or just watch the trucks and all of the people. There are really nice people that work there and they have some cool clothes and Books. In fact I read some Christian literature that really helped me. They also have peanuts and crackers.

Staff is usually friendly. Typically find parking Sun-Thurs until about 7 pm. Have a Subway, no other restaurant.On average the truckers parking there dont know how to park, as they park crooked & end up taking up 1.3 parking spaces on the front row. Paid parking is on front row, to the right hand side of the fuel island IF you pull into the fuel island. Winter is guaranteed to be bone chilling cold - so bring your winter gear as they sell very little - some coats & hats.

I would give a zero if there was an option for it. The customer service wasnt bad, but the fact that there is nothing to eat other than cold case items after 10pm, that is why they are getting such the low rating. We in the trucking industry have messed up schedules at times. And the last thing that I want at the end of my shift is a sandwich that was made a day earlier. With the Pilot corporation being what it is they should at least have a 24 hour restaurant or even fast food in every location. JS.

I have never had bad customer service at Flying J. This store is no exception. It doesnt hurt that they have the cheapest unleaded price in town.I was bummed to hear that the cafe is closed for the foreseeable future. I hope they find someone else soon to provide a good, sit-down meal.

Have only ever received friendly service here. Bathrooms and store floors are clean, and anything you want to buy is easy to find. Great for getting in and out while on a trip to or from Forks

Its a truck stop. They keep it as clean as they can, but with so much traffic I understand its hard. This place used to have a really great diner, the big Sioux, which is now gone. Thats a real shame, they had amazing food. That essentially took away my whole reason for stopping here since its hard to get into with I29 traffic and the semis.

The service I received today at Subway in the Flying J Center was great! The server, James, was quick with getting everyone in and out, even though there was many people in line. He was polite and made sure I got what I wanted. I will definitely be a returning customer and would recommend friends to go there!

We stopped here on our way back to Canada to top up our fuel.This was a pre-pay station and they had very soapy water to clean the windows with.Everything was quick and efficient.

I was on a self layover for a few hours here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Drop in a quarter and you get your weight, horoscope and lotto numbers all on a big scale in the womens restroom! Check it out!

Good location lots of truck parking. Restaurant has been closed for awhile now. But still has a subway inside.

This Flying J had clean bathrooms and good lighting. We slept in our car in the parking lot and had no problems. The restaurant had a good and reasonably priced breakfast.

Went in to get food. No hotdog buns. I asked at check out for a discount since I got no bun. I was told no and was charged full price. I was told by another person that technically we dont charge for the bun. I almost laughed. What business would be that ignorant that they didnt include all cost in a retail price? Hows that corporate? You like stealing from your customers? Kept receipt, took photos showing no buns......not happy with this flying J....not happy at all!

They charge full price for the coffee when there are all around coffee machine a Note we will charge you refill price due to pandemic restrictions of using own cups, even after I noted Fill More refill, pls.

Clean place and nice restaurant. I used to stop here several times a month and would usually fuel up and spend $15 in the restaurant. I wont be going back until they get rid of the paid reserved parking for trucks. Nobody uses them anyways. Too bad!

Fairly decent size truck stop lots of Open Spaces but they definitely need help in the store they only have one person on the checkout and 20-30 people waiting to check out they definitely need some help other than that pretty nice the restaurant that was there is now closed out of business leaving only a Subway their shells are little bit empty they dont always seem to have a lot of the items that most of the Flying Js carry on their shells all and all is fairly decent needs some improvement

Disappointing time to get a restaurant so drivers can sit down and enjoy a meal. Was a big mistake for corporate to run out the big Sioux without a plan to open another in its place. Waist of space sits empty. Subway if your lucky and they do actually have bread just doesn’t satisfy

The place sucked only 2 fuel pumps open. mens room no towels, staff unhelpful. The restaurant that they had a billboard for was closed down, leaving you with Subway and a girl that would rather talk on her phone then take your order. I can go on but I think I made my point.

Had a waitress that could care less when taking our order. Was sweeping the floor along side our table as we were eating kicking up dust. No refill for my drink and didnt return to our table to ask if anything was needed. Food was good however.

Restaurant is closed! Only crappy subway for food now. No fj pizza or hot case just roller bites. Showers are always clean and has good laundry room. Parking lot is below average and the repair shop uses half of it with dropped equipment.

Good place to stop for inexpensive gas. For some reason it wouldnt take my Good Sam number at the pump and I wound up losing out on the 5-cent per gallon discount :-(

Used to have a decent restaurant but its closed now sadly leaving just the Subway and deli. Good sized Flying J though. Service is usually busy and not necessarily 100 percent focused on the customer. Truck parking lot desperately needs its concrete levelled.

This place went downhill bad. No help at counter. Subway was out of almost everything. Restaurant was dirty and smelled of burnt food. Bathrooms was gross. 4 in the afternoon. Never again.

Flying j in grand forks is dirty, unkept, expensive coffee, slow service and pumps are unmaintained. I avoid this truck stop whenever possible. Nothing like other flying j truck stops I’ve been to.

Its an average truck stop. However, it doesnt feel as dangerous as some of the truck stops I have been to. Its nice and clean and the prices are fair. There is a Subway in there just in case but the restaurant isnt there anymore

After a long day my wife and I stopped in to get some drinks for the road. I was feeling quite parched as well as a little sleepy and told her out loud I wanted something that would both quench my thirst as well as give me a boast for the drive back to Fargo. Upon hearing this, an employee directed me to a few different drink selections that would be a good fit for the given situation. He was very friendly and attentive to my needs. We ended up settling on some Arizona iced tea snd he even talked me into buying two! Good overall experience-nice selection of snacks and clean bathrooms. We didnt get shot in the parking lot.

Cool gas station with everything you need in there. They even have a shower area for truck drivers.

I came here for a hot clean shower and got it lots of parking and a neat gift shop i also got a good hot cup of hot chocolate here for a decent price and milk the workers were friendmy and helpful as well
