Ryan works the front line and does a damn great job! He’s the first smiling friendly face when you walk in and will go to great extent to help you locate anything you need! He’s a phenomenal salesman and has outstanding customer service skills!! He’s the go-to guy at Motorcycle Accessories and I recommend talking to him for anything you may need for your bikes!
The staff was very friendly, in particular the gentleman (sorry to say, no idea what his name is) who waited on me. Im 54 and recently put a Mustang seat with a driver backrest on my 2004 Shadow Sabre 1100. In order get full benefit from the backrest, I cant have both hands on the handlebars. I was looking to change out handlebars for some that would be in towards the bike more. He measured my bars and went through lots of pages in catalogs to find something but to no avail. Even though what I want/need wasnt found, he was VERY helpful and suggested even suggested trying to replace the bolt on the backrest. Although a great, inexpensive fix, the factory bolt doesnt come out. I would definitely return to Motorcycle Accessories as my needs arise.
I recently bought a motorcycle and have shopped here for the things I needed. They have always been friendly and helpful, which is why I decided to trust them with my bike. I was having some issues and brought the bike in. Ronnie told me that he was very busy and wouldnt be able to even look at if for 2 weeks. I get it; its a busy time of year. Then he proceeded to come out to look at my bike, checked it pretty thoroughly, took it for a test run, and then got a wrench and adjusted my rear shocks right there in the parking lot. That was above and beyond and you can bet Ill be taking my bike there for repairs from now on.
These guys are the BEST! They helped me when my trike broke down and did everything possible to take care of my issue. They went out of their way to help me! Very friendly, nice, respectful - I cant say enough good things about the people at Motorcycle Accessories!
Motorcycle accessories has always done a great job for me, be it parts or maintenance. If you havent been there I highly recommend going there. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Maintenance guys do a great job and in a very timely fashion. Thanks m/c accessories
These guys are GREAT! I called with an urgent tire emergency and Ryan bent over backwards to find the closest fitting tires that he could given my time constraint. unfortunately the sale was not in the cards today but rest assured, Motorcycle Accessories has my future business thanks entirely to Ryan.
Great service and super friendly as always! Ive been taking my Harleys there since I moved here in 03 or so and they never disappoint.
I got a new helmet and com system. Absolutely no complaints! I had fork seals done and the mechanics did a very well job.
Attentive, knowledgeable, helpful staff. They have a pretty good selection as well as items in stock. If you’re looking for used rides, they always have a pretty good selection and priced to move quick.I’ve used other shops and been to other shops. These guys are my first stop. If I can wait for what I need I usually do before going elsewhere.
Bought my Motorcycle here. Got it at a steal of a deal and then I found out why. It had been wrecked prior to me buying it. I dont know if Motorcycle Accessories knew about it but still very disappointing.
Did brake job on my bike. Next day brakes failed and I almost got ran over. Owner Ronnie only cares about reviews and not the fact of a dad of four almost died. Here is another review to stick in your tailpipe Ronnie
Had a great experience there today. Bill helped my wife and I out with our need for a new windshield for her heritage softail. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Got the new windshield ordered up and on its way!!! Will be back for more of our 2 wheeled wants and needs!
Just had work done on my Harley and won’t be taking my bike anywhere else as long as I live. These guys made me feel like family and took care of my bike like it was their own. If you need anything motorcycle related whether it’s service, parts or accessories on the western slope of Colorado go see these guys at Motorcycle Accessories!!! Huge shout out to Ronnie, Aaron, and Justin!!! Thanks for taking care of me and my bike!!
Most are rude and avoid speaking to you, been told something different from everyone I spoke to, if I go in to ask for parts im handed catalogs and after finding my part being told oh we made them mad and cant order from them anymore. Im sorry to say I have tried many times to support local business but I will no longer go to this store had to many negative experiences and have a lot of brothers who have had same treatment. What happened to people being proud of there work and respect in the bike community
Overly expensive. Failed to tell us their where bikes a head of ours when we told them we are waiting. Ended up waiting around 3 hours
Great staff very friendly dont go to the other over rated place that starts with and H...just sayin
They were friendly and helpful. I will be using them again.
A decent independent shop. Friendly helpful staff. Good selection of basic riding gear and accessories. Stop in and support these guys during covid-19
They were fast and professional on my sons 110 they got me in and out in no time.Definitely will be back
So glad these guys exist! We came through Colorado on a long distance trip this summer and were looking for cooling vests. They had a good selection of a bunch of clothing, helmets, stickers, etc. and we left with what we needed. Trip went so much better after that.
Great guys very helpful, got me back on trail,
Good service and knowledgeable staff. Every employee is very helpful and caring to the needs of the patrons.
Awesome service always is very helpful. Front counter
Great little store thats been around the western slope for ever. The staff were able to help while i was in dire need during Thanksgiving holiday. I need a chain and sprocket for my old KLR... literally no one on my trip from LA to Grand Junction had a drive sprocket for one of the most common, heavily produced dual sport bikes ever made.No one likes to stock anything, tax reasons Im told... however these guys had everything i was looking for, chain, sprocket, heated gloves, socks etc. All the things i needed to make my ride back to (the dump) i mean LA less cold and miserable. Awesome staff, friendly, helpful, accommodating, had what i needed... definitely recommendThanks again Motorcycle Accessories for saving my bacon!
You can register ohv/atvs here for CO and UT. Anything youll need is here. Friendly staff, good street parking if you have a trailer, easy to find.
New owners have made drastic changes. Kudos to you. We now shop here and love it
Support your local businesses. Great place to shop.
Customer Service was top notch. We are new to the dirt bike world and are starting from scratch. We took our daughters in looking for accessories for them. The gentleman worked with my daughters showing them how to find the correct gear for fit and everything. Showed them how to put them on and work everything. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our experience a great one!
I do NOT recommend anyone going here for maintenance work! We took a bike here to get diagnosed. The things they said needed to be replaced were already brand new!!! 2 days prior! They mis diagnosed! And charged a 175 fee!! Total ripoff!!! Changed price after saying 50 bucks to diagnose then was something different. Then I picked up bike and turn on gas, and fuel was leaking everywhere because they punctured a fuel line! They replaced fuel line but bike wont start at all!! And started before!! Do not go here unless you want to get ripped off!! Then they try to tell me the chain and sprockets was not the right ones! When they where installed by all terrian They have no.clue what they are talking about! I was lied to and taken advantage of.
Very nice people. Really helpful.
Refused to tell me about any accident history on their used bikes. I had money in hand ready to buy and my eye on two bikes. Sales guy made a joke of me question and kept kept deflecting an actual answer.
Good selection of parts and accessories if you need it sooner than Amazon $ can deliver. Helpful front-end staff. BUT Ive had nothing but bad experiences with the service dept. Whatever they quote you, expect to get some expensive surprises even with things as basic as a tire change.
Great place very knowledgeable staff!
You pay for convenience. I personally find it convenient that these guys have everything I could want and need.New gremlin bell ✔️American flag patch ✔️New bar grips✔️Brake parts✔️And I got outta there for less than eighty bucks! Thanks guys, Ill be back!
Good store with a lot of accessories
I hesitated even leaving a review but how I was treated was uncalled for. I have been doing business here since I was a child, I have seen and heard tons of negative things and never understood them till today. I brought my bike in for a new rear tire, service and salesman was great. At the very end of my transaction after paying almost $400 for the service (which was great and completely not an issue) I was talking with the young man who handled me (who was a pleasure to deal with) and I told him I would be back in the morning to pick up my old tire, which I have done before with no issues. Its also on my way to work every day. In mid sentence the older gentleman whom I believe is the owner interrupted the conversation to very rudely and loudly told me that no i would not pick up my tire in the morning I would take it now or pay the $4. So I with plenty of difficulty got on my $14K Harley with my old tire hanging on my arm and rode away with no care from the owner. It is sad that you would treat a customer that way over a $4 tire disposal even if I didnt come back. Ive spend thousands of dollars at your business in my life and you have probably lost my business or a positive reference from now on. Very very poor way to treat your clients. Very rude.
Bought a 2004 Heritage softail from them a couple months back. The bike has been Awesome and their customer services has been outstanding!! Thanks Ronnie for a great experience.
Friendly ppl get sale on helmets
Always great service. Only improvement would be their website.
Great staff, great repair shop. Decent selection of bikes and gear!
Very friendly helpful staff
They were really helpful in helping me pick out and fitting gear. I definitely wouldve picked the wrong sizes. Theyve been great if I need some tubes or other parts.
Fantastic place, helped me out with my chain and was very nice the whole way through
Not a great place. I wouldnt recommend going here. The owner John is substantially lacking in people-skills and customer service. I question why his employees even consider working for him. He seems to have no problem cursing out potential customers. Maybe try some Anger Management classes, John?Definitely go to a different establishment that respects their customers. A little further of a drive will be worth it.
Went into the shop about a year ago bought some accessories in the store had a great experience experience. The guy behind the counter was personable and friendly Im pretty knowledgeable. Not too sure what happened to him.Went the other day and had one of the worst experiences ever, asked if they had a couple parts said that they didnt have any used ones called back ask for another part all the sudden they did have a used one but said it should fit dont even know what parts they have or dont have. They got very argumentative and after reading the reviews that state the same claim I can understand where the people are coming from Im sure this review will get an answer just like the others with the same attitude you get when youre there. Its just sad that this day and age customer service doesnt mean what it used to
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Sad to see a locally owned business deteriorate so badly. I have patronized this business for literally years as the best place for moto accessories when one isnt buying boutique at dealerships in town. I even purchased a used motorcycle from them. Unfortunately I wont be back based on going in yesterday for a pair of goggles and having ZERO staff members stop their conversation behind the counter for over 5 minutes without acknowledging I was even there. I then left and no one acknowledged I was leaving. So, no one will acknowledge the money I will spend someplace else, likely on the internet from Utah, as I sadly get better customer service from a machine with no soul than a human-owned local business. This is why Amazon is winning.....
Literally ran through the first layer of steel belts on a rear tire. Was in a pinch. Great service in a fairly remote area of Colorado. Shop had 4 brands in the size I needed. Service was first come first served. Was out in about an hour. Staff was friendly and on point. Price is relative given I am 2100 miles from home and in my area it would have been about the same cost. And unlike most bIke dealers which are closed on Monday this place is open. I would recommend any time there is a need.
Good service and ok inventory but the bikes they sell are CRAZY expensive and hugely overpriced to the point to where its actually offensive. If your looking for parts/accessories go here. If your looking to buy a bike, you can buy one brand new for 15% to 20% cheaper than they are asking for a used one.
Super friendly and helpful staff. My wife needed a new helmet 2000 miles from home and we were helped by two staff members, one who helped her pick out a helmet and another who transferred her Cardo from her old helmet to the new helmet so she could start using it immediately. Its too bad we dont live in the area otherwise we would most certainly visit again.
Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. The service and troubleshooting they performed and then the repairs they made fixed a complicated problem that I thought I was going to have to go to the BMW dealer with. My preference for dealing with independents rather than dealers is high and I am happy to report that these folks are very competent. I will continue to go to Motorcycle accessories for service, parts and repairs. Thanks a million for the great work.
They only get one star because I cannot give zero. Worst customer service ever. Do not use.
Average. Nothing excepcional about it
Its the place to go when you need a part
While riding from Calif with four other bikers I experienced some carburetor problems. Stopped at three other shops within the Grand Junction area and was turned away. Got lucky and found Motorcycle Accessories. They immediately took my bike in and was assured it would be a priority. The owner John was very professional and was willing to help. Within 4 hours I was on the road again. Its good to know theirs still people like John out there. Thanks John!
Great customer service!
Good on availability of parts; prices are higher than Harley especially since Harley offers discounts on parts. Support of local fund raisers is rather poor. Time for parts they have to order is acceptable.
They are ok if you are in a hurry and dont mind a bit of overpriced stuff. Best to take your old parts with you because it is highly doubtful they will get the correct part the first time. They do have a decent selection.
Awesome service, and all the folks are great to work with
Got a motorcycle inspection done here and they were very thorough, reasonably priced, and communicated attentively. I knew exactly what I was getting when I purchased the machine they inspected. I would definitely employ this shops expertise again!
Good selection and very helpful, friendly staff.
Saved me a bunch of money buying the same exact thing as HD has and couple oh hundred dollars cheaper. Going to buy new pipes from them some pipes and about 200 cheaper.Very nice people there. They got me business now
Not very helpful... I stood out and looked at a particular bike ( Kawasaki Concourse... And not one time did anyone come to help me.... Was a buyer... Now a shopper
The people that work there are great! Super friendly and full of advice. The issue lies in the price. Even pulling a used starter relay off of a bike in the junkyard costed 2x as much as buying a new off brand version.
I had a positive experience with this place. The customer service is excellent. They made a mistake and my frustration level was high but they made it right. Daniel worked hard to get me what I needed and I will not look anywhere else for parts again. These gentlemen are very respectful and I highly recommend this place. Thanks
Prices are a bit high . And John needs people skills. But its always been a reliable source for bike parts.
Friendly staff but extremely disappointing service. Brought bike in for oil change and because front brakes were squeaking. After paying $313 for the recommended 12k mile service I rode off with a bike that still had squeaky brakes and an oil light that still flicked on. During my first real/legitimate ride after picking up the bike, only 2 hours to Ouray, my fuel injector kicked on multiple times and the bike didnt start twice after stopping it (These were both new problems that had never happened before). I immediately brought the bike back and had it checked out again. I was informed there was an error with the coding system which was corrected. When I picked the bike up for my second time the right mirror was hanging down low and was extremely loose (which is odd because that mirror always sits in the same position and is stable). When I went to adjust the mirror it fell on the road and shattered (something definitely happened to that mirror when my bike was at MA, extremely suspicious). After stopping the bike and picking up the mirror, my rear brakes locked up on me while returning to their shop at which point I was nearly hit by a car and was ultimately unable to make the whole 3 blocks back to their shop because the back tire would not rotate. I was then informed I need to have more work done on the bike which would cost more money and that I would need to pay for a new mirror. Overall a very frustrating, time consuming and unsatisfactory experience. After paying several hundred dollars for essentially a basic oil change, my bike now runs worse than it did before I brought it in and its currently at another shop getting evaluated.
Great staff and a huge selection of all your motorized needs, parts and everything you could need. The lot is always clean and its almost too good to pass on by.
The staff is great and super helpful they answered every question that me and my family had and made it into an environment that makes you feel at home! I would recommend this place to anyone from the person just starting out to the seasoned veteran. Great place and great people.
What an outstanding group of people. They all go out of their way to make sure your needs are satisfied. Very fair pricing and most excellent service. If you are out of town or have friends coming into GJ and want to tour the wonderful area they have an excellent rental program - with amazing support.
Love my helmet and gloves that I purchased here! Great service too!
They just serviced my 97 savage. Runs like a champ thanks Aaron and crew...
Called and talked to Jonathon there mechanic. Needed timing done on my VStar. Told him how Yamaha in town screw** me outta getting it done today. He made no promises but said he’d try. I got a call at 330 to come pick it up. They just earned my business for life. Fast, reliable. I’m now riding my bike everywhere thanks to them.
Not a great first experience! I went in to buy everything I needed for complete ground up rebuild. All new gaskets, seals, fuel/oil, brake lines, tires, lights. I was rudely interrupted by phone calls and other employees that clearly were more important then and I was at the time! I picked up my parts that I had on the counter and left. Not one employee out of the four that were standing there asked if they could continue to help me buy the parts I needed.
I came into the store looking for a vstrom 650 and they were the only place that had one. Michael definitely went out of his way to help me out and he made it a very pleasant shopping experience! I would definitely recommend this place for all your motorcycle needs!
Have been shopping here for a long time, can’t any longer. They have a new guy Nathan up front and he is straight weird and knows nothing about motorcycles. What happened to the guys that have been there the last couple years? Definitely a different environment.
Went to GJ looking for some street gear, one place told me that its only 1% of their business so it (or I as a customer) was not worth their time. So I went to Motorcycle Accessories and found exactly what I was looking for. John and Zane were great, they helped me check stuff out and find exactly the right jacket.Like John told me its all about having fun, right ? Yep John you are right, thank you.Customer for life
Most everything is over priced, including the bikes out front (I blue booked the bike I looked at out front). It was beyond over priced even in excellent condition, and it wasnt close to excellent condition. Customer service is horrible. The big guy at the counter is a jerk. I was speechless when I got the response I did from him when I asked a question. If I would have said anything, it wouldnt have been good. They think making a buck is more important than their customer service. Unless you are in dire need of something, buy online or elsewhere. I guarantee youll find it cheaper and if not, the other place may price match or work with you, unlike Moto Accessories. Ive had issues with them before, but after my last experience, I wont set foot in that store again. They better hope for customers who dont care about price and customer service.
I wanted a cargo box for the back of my ATV, but didnt know which one. So while visiting friends and family in Grand Junction, I stopped by Motorcycle Accessories to see what they had in stock. I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome at the door. The salesperson who was helping me with my choice asked a few questions about my intended usage and helped me select the perfect cargo box. As I was paying for the box and a few other things, the service department installed my new box on the back of my ATV. Thank you Motorcycle Accessories for your wonderful service.#motorcycle #accessories #motorcycleparts
Always have what we need
I went there to get a tube and i went camping and came back and my dirtbike tubes air nossle was broke and i never got to ride it and they gave us a free tube and that one had 3 holes it in and i never got to ride it
I am new to Grand Junction and I stumbled across this store while driving into downtown. I stopped in to look at a new helmet for myself and I can tell you, I have not had this good of service and support in any cycle shop Ive been to over the last 7 years (when I started buying bikes). The Rep Daniel and the Rep General both went out of the service norms to add value to my search...Plus, they did me an exceptional favor and installed my wireless headsets in my new helmet...and my older riders (I bought in Denver) at no charge.... that is exceptional customer service and much appreciated. Since then Ive been back twice for other accessories and they are still helpful beyond the norm. I highly recommend them..and the prices were very reasonable.Keith
Great customer service. Had about everything one may need for riding in the Grand Junction Moab area. Was able to get my Moab OHV sticker there. They even didnt mind that we pulled wheels in the parking lot for tire change. Even asked id were needed tools
I bought a used motorcycle. Have no idea how to maintain it. General the sales rep was awesome. He helped me feel like I was a pro.
Great store..Great Staff. Great prices. I will definitely be shopping here!!!
If there was a way to rate this place lower I would my experience with the staff was above and beyond ridiculous! I bought an oil filter from them for 7.99 plus tax, and when I got it home it wasnt even close to what I needed, so this morning I set off to get it exchanged for the right filter. After about twenty minutes of waiting for them to search for the right filter, they came back to me to say that the filter was no longer in production, and they couldnt refund the wrong filter because of minor cosmetic scratches. I was pissed to say the least. And it wasnt until I threatened to write a bad review online one of the staff pulled out his wallet and handed me a five dollar bill Hush Money and I am out $7.99 plus tax! Dont waste your money at this place!
Very helpful
Dog haters, never go there. Heartless POS
Not bad people but very overpriced on tires and service (IMO). I ordered both of my tires for half the price of what they sell them for and the service to put them on is more than the price of the tires. Too much.
Fantastic place this. We came in looking for some motorcycle boots and we had a problem with my Girlfriends motorbike. Was glad to see that they had some street boots rather than the usual range of dirt bike clothing that everybody else stocks (they had that too). Service was exceptionally good and they took Janes bike in to get the issue with the oil sorted with no notice and finished the job quickly. We were informed at all stages as to what was happening and they even checked the tyre pressures, chain etc. on my bike whilst we were waiting. I wish they were my local bike shop! Keep up the good work guys.
The owner was incredibly rude. I wanted to test ride a few bikes and had questions about the waiver I was presented. I was trying to feel out if he had any coverage on the bikes whatsoever. Do the brakes on those things work? Do they test the bikes? The guy kept trying to lecture me about taking personal responsibility, while making it clear that no matter what happened he was not responsible for anything. He then snatched away the waiver and said well dont ride it then. He then went on some kind of political tirade and said Welcome to America as I walked out the door. Yes I know I am in America. Its why I wont blindly sign a document some baby boomer puts in front of me. I dont go driving around vehicles without insurance because this country is trigger happy with lawsuits. How dare you project that garbage on me. Disgusting.
Parts are fairly priced. Takes around 4 days to get them shipped in standard delivery. Nothing to complain about.
Needed a new chain on a KLR 650 and stopped about 30 minutes before they were supposed to open. Ronnie Martin, the service manager for Motorcycle Accesories, was there early and opened up for me. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was back on the road in an hour. Price was great. I would recommend Motorcycle Accessories and their staff.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Bought a new helmet and they helped me transfer my Cardo headset from my old helmet to the new one.
They treat you great! Great customer service! Always my first go to place for help or parts! Highly recommend them!
Looking for good advice, parts ? I was looking but not anymore. I love this place . Good people for sure!.
Our store has constantly been finding new ways to service the customers needs. If there is a way that we can help find a solution to your problem, we are here to help you out. Come in and see what we can do for you!
Got some super breathable pants for going on desert ride. Super helpful staff!
