Don was a pleasure to work with. I needed help rewiring some existing in-wall speakers and getting those speakers connected and powered. He helped me design a new system, which will have excellent sound and will all be connected via Sonos. For the most part I was able to use a lot of the existing system and make a few upgrades where we both felt is was worth the investment. I originally approached Don with the goal of improving our home theater system so that we could better understand dialog, British in particular. We easily accomplished those goals by adding new speakers in a two-channel setup with our existing AVR. But, with still more listening (and considerable patience from Don and Lori) we went on to add new electronics for the full excitement of a movie theater—but much easier on the ears and incredible for music. We ended up with the best possible gear to match our needs and budget. In Northern Colorado, we are fortunate to have multiple great options for the purchase of audio gear. I have had an exceptionally good time listening to Dons products. He understands the value of enjoying listening, and will help customers listen to the differences in stereo components. I replaced my broken record player with a Pro-ject and I love it. I also got a relatively cheap DAC that made a huge improvement in sound quality. I appreciate his honest opinion, which feels authentic and not tarnished by trying to sell to a customer. The equipment he sells sounds great, I am a fan of his Kef speakers! Nobody in Colorado gives a customer such a good opportunity to HEAR the difference between what you have and what you may want to buy. You are far better off buying here than Best Buy if you love music!

I called looking for a used pair of high eff speakers for a 5 watt amp. Don shared what he had in stock and after a few months I decided on a pair of Klipsch Quartets. He set them up and I had a good listen to them and no pressure just options. He did try and sell those wonderful Cornscalas he built and I want them so much but no room lolGreat guy, great gear.

If you are looking for some quality hifi gear in northern CO, knowledgeable advice, and zero pressure, FCA is the place. I ran across Don at FCA when looking for a pair of KEF LS50’s and he was very helpful in offering me flexible listening options and providing advice/opinions when requested. I ended up with a pair of R500’s instead and some new speaker cables and am very happy with both the product and the experience. I am definitely looking forward to hearing some of the new Parasound equipment he is getting in……probably time to complete my upgrades with a new amp!! FCA is Highly Recommended!!
