Words can not express how much I enjoyed my experience here. Im not going to lie at first I was hesitant because the gentleman working seemed almost arrogant in a way. HOWEVER after deciding to go with Apex I am so excited and I plan on going back for every piercing I intend to get! Once we started having a conversation about work and what got him into it, you can tell the passion he has for what he does! He does a good job because he is proud of what he is doing and after so many years he still enjoys it! I can not recommend this shop enough, if you have been wanting a new piercing GO TO APEX!!

I saw Amen for years and it took me almost 6 years to realize how unprofessional he was. I do not like leaving reviews but I’d rather save someone the money and pain that I’ve gone through here. Not only has he botched multiple piercings of mine but even with the instructions he gave me and following them I had multiple infections. I am also sick of hearing multiple women I know saying how uncomfortable he has made them through many years of work. Absolutely unprofessional owner would not recommend!

I got my third lobe piercing here almost two years ago and it has healed so very nicely. I got my first and second lobe piercings done at Clair’s and all I had throughout the healing process was infections, but my third piercings that were done by apex healed perfectly and he was so so nice and gentle☺️☺️☺️

I had my nips done for years then out for years. They never healed then. Ive had the new rings in a month and cant believe how much better healed they are. The quality of the jewelry really really matters. And the piercer matters. Aman Sircus is amazing

I have walked into Apex piercing twice to purchase jewlery for my anti eyebrow piercing and both times, instead of helping me find jewlery, they tell me that whoever did my piercing did it wrong and they dont have jewlery for it. They are the only shop to ever say such foolishness in the 10 years I have had my piercing. Its an eyebrow ring I need and they have them, but the dude with the dreads was so argumentative and insistent that I needed some other type of jewlery I have never used in all my time having this piercing, I just left to spend my money elsewhere. Talking bad about someones piercing is pretty poor business.

I’ve gotten two and my only piercings from this place and I wouldn’t want to get it anywhere else. The staff is very experienced and they know what they’re doing. All their piercing pieces are the real deal and great quality for great prices!

Got my tongue pierced here and the guy was very informative and professional. He was also very quick and efficient at getting my tongue pierced. When i decide to get another piercing this will be my preferred place.

The sign asked customers to please not touch things on the counter and silly me didnt realize that meant any surface or object in the room. This place is awesome. They have arcade games in the front, yo-yos, t-shirts and other various memorabilia, and the best part is all of the randomly placed trinkets and figurines. I waited no longer than 10 minutes to get pierced (as a walk-in, no less) and I couldn’t have hoped for a smoother, more professional process. My septum looks great, and I’d definitely come back to this spot for any new jewelry - they carry only the best quality.

First off let me start by saying I dont leave reviews very often. This place smelled like a closet in your grandmas house from the 1900s that was abandoned. It was very cluttered and Im from Eugene Oregon any place like this would be shut down. Also having 11 piercings I have a good idea of how much it costs. I just needed some simple studs put in my ear and he wanted to charge me $120 Thats three times the amount Ive ever paid anywhere. Not only that but I came in before other customers did and he took them ahead of me so I walked out. I hope you all know theres so many places around Grand Junction to get piercings for a third of the cost. Informative thats exactly what youre supposed to be at your job! Sorry but not sorry I felt extremely claustrophobic as theres really no space.

Awesome experience! The owner was very professional and explained the process/aftercare well, and the piercings look great. The shop has really cool decorations and a generally calming vibe. Definitely worth coming here (even if you have to drive a bit) to know that youre getting high quality jewelry and an experienced/APP certified piercer.

I went here to get my tragus. He first couldnt get it through my ear and kept missing, second he wanted to put in a hoop which in my experience I have never heard of. The stud he then proceeded to put in my ear was to short and my skin healed over the back of it and I had to have it cut open. My friend got her rook piercing here and he again put in a hoop instead of a stud, making her piercing sag due to the weight of the hoop. His was shop dirty and cluttered. He bad mouthed the piercing in town. Absolutely awful experience, I wont be going back.

I got my bellybutton pierced here a lil over a week ago and everything was great. I had some really bad swelling because I kept bumping it and he put in a bigger ring for me so i could heal better for no charge. If ur gonna get a piercing u should go here

I go here for all of my peircings! The service, pricings, and the peircings themselves are wonderful. Not to mention the ambiance created by the decorations and art create in the shop a nostalgic atmosphere!

Simply horrifying. I went in for a piercing. There weren’t any other customers, but when I walked in- the man started arguing with me about my piercing. Then his friends came in and he walked away and started demoing the toys in the store to his friends. He complained about having to do piercings and walked to a back room. I tried to wait it out, but the place was so filthy, the air reeked... I thought I would vomit if I stayed. Definitely not worth a try.
