The Kitchen Center was marvelous in their suggestions and help with the design of my entire new house of cabinets. My kitchen is the centerpiece of my home and I am getting rave reviews from my friends and family. Heather went the extra mile walking me through all the changes and and updates. I visited her a ton of times and when she was there she always gave me 100% of her attention. The cabinets are beautiful, the hardware is top-notch and the installers were very detail-oriented. It all went together in about 2 days!

Needs more attention to costumer care, ones they finish install they dont answer your calls anymore, installation crew did a poor job missing counter top pieces and island panel replacement and didnt adjust doors and drawers, didnt really finished the job, didnt do a finish touch up, not what I would call a professional job

I am a contractor and have done about 20 homes(probably over 200,000$) with the kitchen center. Over all good to work with. Not perfect nut no one is. For the pice I think they offer alot of value. And I do believe that Heathers eye for interior design is good as well.

The Kitchen Center helped me through my remodel on a 50s house and they provided a cost effective option for my home. The cabinets after three years have held up to kids, dogs, etc. With an old house many things were not level, the installers did an amazing job making everything look right and I was very happy with the work performed. I was truly pleased with punctual install dates, honest responses and overall I am very satisfied with my interaction with the kitchen center.

Great resource for my company. Heather is a great kitchen designer. She has repeatedly helped me design practical and functional kitchens and bathrooms. They have a large selection of cabinets and countertops to choose from. I would highly recommend Heather, Bill and the kitchen Center.

We had an appointment with Heather, who apparently is the owner of this business. We arrived with our masks on, in compliance with the state mandate requiring them in public spaces, and business interacting with the public, and because I have some health issues that may make me more at risk. Heather was not wearing a mask and we asked that she do so. She said she did not have one. We left immediately.If she has so little regard for the health and safety of her customers what kind of customer service does she provide? Apparently not so great, according to many of the reviews I have since found on line. I would not recommend doing business here.

After leaving a horrible seam through the middle of a sink Heather and The Kitchen Center said they would replace counter top if we paid for labor. After agreeing to pay and having a check ready Heather has not returned a call or e-mail in 10 months. In making my weekly call to TKC I realized would probably go mute from shock if she actually answered the phone.The theme in the reviews is consistent: they are not capable of performing work correctly the first time and are dismissive, rude, or non-responsive when it comes time to resolve the issues they leave behind.

The only reason why I selected 1 star is because you cannot select 0. What a horrible business. There was 1 or 2 nice people in there, but our sales rep (Heather) was the most egocentric, rude and unknowledgeable person I have ever dealt with in this industry and I deal in it a lot! We ordered two simple bathroom vanities, which ended up being way over priced for the quality. Lowes std fit and finish would have been better and at a much lower price. First off, they were incorrect, secondly, they were damaged and third, they are cheaply made (for the price). When I asked Heather about it (very politely I might add). Her first reaction was to tell me how wrong I was. Then she goes on to tell me how difficult I was being (just because I wanted to correct an issue). I have never been told so many times youre wrong and I dont know what to tell you by someone before. Then to top it off after I gave up and was walking out the door, she says to me youre the most difficult person I have ever dealt with. Any of you who know me, know that I am very easy to deal with, professional and very cordial. I started to think I was on some sort of hidden comedy TV show, but I was not so lucky. What a horrible human being... Anyways, off to Sutherlands I go for my kitchen and other home cabinetry. I cannot tell you why I didnt go there form the start. If anyone is considering walking through the front door of The Kitchen Center, save yourself some anguish and go to Sutherlands. Oh yeah, shes the owner, so no one I can complain to there!

Called to learn about options for my kitchen counters. Woman that answer the phone was short and annoyed she had to expalin options to someone. Imagine, being annoyed at having to sell someone new counters! No wonder their ratings are the worse in the valley.

Total waste of my time. Not organized at all, they were confused about their samples. And they seem too busy to help. I would not recommend this place.UPDATE 3/10/2021I did this review a year ago and the recent response is filled with bias details I believe are inaccurate. All I remember is I was treated very poorly. I also remember I ended up going to Best Tops, they were very busy but found time to help. I got a sweet solid surface remnant and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Thank you Best Tops!!

My wife and I are extremely excited with how our kitchen turned out. Heather and the ladies up front were very helpful and were hands on with any questions we had. The installers were very professional and were on time and made sure the house was clean when they left. High quality service and I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know.

After having to completely rebuild my kitchen after a flood, Heather came and designed an entirely new kitchen perfect for us. we were incredibly happy with the courtesty and professionalism that heather showed us while she was here. The Kitchen center was on time and on price. Our house was cleaned and installers were pleasant to have here. i would highly recommend the Kitchen Center to anyone on the western slope.Heidi

I just finished a redesign project and was extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and service we received from Heather and her staff. The cabinets and quartz counters were top quality and arrived and were installed as scheduled. Heather is very knowledgeable about her products and is also helpful with current trends. Heather and the women up front were very helpful with getting us updates and scheduling things on time. It took less than a week to get pricing which is way faster than I thought knowing they are extremely busy! The cabinet and countertop guys did an amazing job!! We absolutely love our new kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms! It was a stressful process and they made it so much easier for us!

By far the best prices and service for cabinets on the Western Slope of Colorado. Heather has been fantastic to work with on our custom kitchen, baths, and ADU. She returned all emails and phone calls promptly, provided knowledgeable design aesthetic, kept true to quotes, held to delivery dates, and collaborated with professional installers. We wished all our subs were 5 star like Kitchen Center after the fact! Heather travels to the Roaring Fork Valley weekly and met with us at our Basalt location 5 times, which was included in the cost of cabinets. The prices we paid were 20% less than Lowes and much higher in quality in 2011. We highly recommend Kitchen Center. Three years later we are very impressed with our cabinets.

Bill & Heather of The Kitchen Center designed our office breakroom, conference room & reception area, as well as provide & install the cabinets & counter tops. Heather’s recommendation of the cabinets was excellent! They did a fantastic job, within the timeframe promised, & the office is awesome! I have been working with Heather since March trying to remodel our laundry room. It took a month to get her out to measure and she then promised to have numbers/plans the next week and I have never heard back from her.... this was 2 months ago. I called last week and spoke with a woman who claimed to be a manager and said she would take care of the issue and still never heard back. Very disappointing. For a small community you might want to make ANY EFFORT at all to keep your clients happy. I will be sure to spread the news of the service I received from your company.

Terrible to work with. Did multiple things wrong. Refused to fix their errors and blackmailed me into taking down a previous bad review. Save yourself and go with someone else. If I could put zero stars I would.

As a builder, I am looking for the best quality for my customers for the money. Kitchen Center always helps my clients with color choices and helps me to stay on budget.

Bad Business! Despite weeks of mistakes, no refund on easily restocked, metal drawer slide! First they order drawer too large, despite my bringing actual “twin” drawer in for measure (incompetent). Then they promise to fix in 3 days, but take 7 (promise broken). While installing I find they’ve given me a set of mismatched length slides that won’t work even though they claim it will (incompetence #2 and 3). They offer to reorder them per warranty, but because of their previous incompetencies, I’m out of time, so am forced to buy a set of generic slides from Ace. When I ask for refund, they hide behind warranty (legalistic), blame their supplier (buck passer), and self-righteously tell me I’ve received good customer service. Incompetent, promise breaking, legalistic, buck-passing, self righteous, and as another reviewer said, “Rude!”

Always helpful, with great ideas!

Both ladies in th office are rude, do not expect anything good from this company if you dare to deal with them!
