Nice employees. Pretentious, yet cheap looking fashion and knockoffs for the most part. Poor selection, and the most DISGUSTING, FILTHY RESTROOM Ive seen in the past 3 years.

Had a very great experience. Ashley helped me with everything I needed and was very kind and helpful to me. She really took the time to make sure that I was taken care of. Definitely will be shopping here again.

The women we dealt with today were, for the most part, nice. We asked to speak with the manager and they called her over 3 times and she never came to help. Also if you plan on buying jewelry there and it ends up breaking beyond repair and they offer to buy you out... its a gift card... you dont actually get your money back, they give you a freakn gift card to buy more shxt at their store...

At this stage in the pandemic we should be able to try on clothes. If its that much of a concern you would have someone there to clean between each customer. Please take note RESTROOMS are STILL open NEVER did close.

I personally think the quality of their merchandise has gone way down. Especially clothes.

I dont tend to have to dress up often but thankfully jcpenny has me covered now that im having to dress up more often

Picked out several items of clothing to try on only to find out the Fitting Rooms were CLOSED. Although, just a couple months ago they were open. No one disinfecting the fitting rooms between customers then. So not sure that the reason given now is we dont have the personnel makes any sense. Apparently the day before the fitting rooms were open on limited hours. CALL before you go especially if you are driving any distance to shop there. Maybe they could list it on their website.

Honestly hire more employees to help your customers during peak time or shutdown already. Cash registers completely empty on exits.. waiting for several minutes and left. Hard to wrestle my kids and wait forever for help to take my money..Why is it so tough to spend money in retail?

I get sick of spending money at Wal-Mart and I wont shop at Amazon. Im glad I can go into this clean and well maintained store and use my Penneys card. I usually find what Im looking for at a good price.

This store is having some really great sales now. And if you are hot the Mall is cool to take a walk and get your steps in. All departments are on sale. Come in and find what you need for your family. The products are well placed throughout the store. All departments are clean and well organized. Weve been shopping here for 3 decades. Theyve made provisions for COVID so check the store hours or call ahead to verify. Some entrances are closed, so find where the cars are parked or enter from the mall

To be honest, I went into Sephora inside Pennys and got some good advice. No hard sell, just a suggestion and I appreciated that.

Looking for a coat for the wife. She found one she really loved, but they didnt have it in her size. They said they couldnt order it either. We ordered it off their website.

Was sent to several different registers to check out it was super frustrating!! What should of been quick and easy was the opposite, I ended up putting my merch back and leaving. . .

The store was clean and a little busy this Saturday afternoon. We only purchased a gift card. Had to wait about 4 or 5 minutes to get to a cashier. I dont shop at Penneys very often as this store is small and has rarely had clothes my size (big & tall) that appeal to me. When i lived in Denver there was a lot more variety at Penneys as the stores were larger. Good place for newborn to youngster clothes. Shoes..Meh.

First experience in this location and I was not impressed. The ONLY restroom was not clean and the store looked as if it needed an update ten years ago. The employees were welcoming and that is the reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise, it would be 0 for cleanliness and merchandising.

Heading into JCPenney is like walking right back into time, nothing has changed. Thankfully become of the lack of change its easy to locate the items you came in for. The staff is something that is an acquired taste. I think they are real just bored to death.

Today was frustrating at JC Pennys Grand Junction. We received a text our online order was ready for pickup. Only two out of three items were there & the clerks could not find the other Item. I had to pull it up myself on the website, to find out it has not shipped yet. Then we purchased a few clearance items while we were there and the clerk rang them up incorrectly. Luckily my wonderful wife look at the receipt and found a $6 discrepancy from the price on the receipt and the price on the tag. We had to get back in line to get the refund.

I have shopped JC Penney my whole life, that is how awesome this place is. Prices are awesome, quality is on par with the prices for the most part. The difference between the old companies and the new ones is customer service and the changes in technology and marketing. Although I believe that no one from JC Penney will reply to this review, which is somehow important in todays customer service sector, I have appreciate you as a business for a very long time. Today though, it has become important to chat with your clients in various ways, such as a reply to this review and that is where you, as a business, are missing out. Its dumb, I know, but its the new world we live in. Basically what I am saying is this. Speak to your fans and find new ways to usher them back into your stores. Find new ways to gain the attention of their children and grand children. Stay alive. Dont fall like Sears has. You are better than that. Amazon hasnt won but it is looking very grim. Fight like hell to stay in business and learn the new ways to market and advertise. Figure out a way to get that marketing in front of me, to my phone. The exact device that has my attention and the attention of everyone in this world, ALL day long. Thank you again for all the deals throughout the years. Good luck :)

People who work here are less than happy and I wont shop at this location. Again.. its a public store people stop judging people because your all employed at a semi upscale store..

Youre big and tall section leaves a lot to be desired. Its Christmas time and there was very little help in the store this weekend. I used to work for pennies and ours in Grand Junction is not up to par.

I just arrived for my 11:30am appointment. The woman who was working was so rude. I have an 8 day old baby, and I made it a point to have my newborn fed and changed ready for the pictures. We showed up, the woman was rude and unaccomidating. We waited until 12 noon and we finally just left. My husband has been in the Army for 14 years, and we had some specific pictures picked out. When I set the appointment we specifically asked for additional time. I asked if we could do 4 outfit changes, and they said no problem. The lady today said we could try, but she doubts we could do additional outfits. She refused some of the poses, which is fine but there is a way to explain and speak to people. She should not be in customer service, and should definitely not be working with children. We left and booked with another company, we did not appreciate her negative attitude or her lack of time management and consideration for our time.

Visited Sephora, they were very helpful, had a color match for makeup.
