This store has a huge amount of services, but lacks in the western wear department. This would not be considered high end in clothes and defiantly suited for the average size customers. Overall the service was friendly, but the product selection was marginal.

Western implements often has repair items, garden items and other farm and ranch type things that other places in town do not have. The staff is well-trained common knowledgeable and friendly.

1st time at the chainsaw repair shop, referred by friend. Explained I was a newbie at the chainsaw stuff, ended up I needed a new blade. I was inquisitive what to look for, Employee Steve Slade was extremely helpful knowledgeable and gave me a mini tutorial including how to replace the chain. Wow, incredible customer service! I’ll be back!

Good place to go to find hard to find items

Complete waste of my time. Called beforehand about a service on my tiller ( indicating what I thought to be a dirty or unfit carburetor) and was told to bring it in without any other details. I drove all the way from Mesa only to be told something completely different and in my opinion thats how companies completely lose someones business, by bad practices...

I buy alot of fencing materials from here. Theyre always friendly and happy to help out. Their prices seem fair on fencing and they will order specific materials if theyre out of stock.

Been going here for 28 years. Its nice to have stores that are locally owned and provide products and services that you cant get at Lowes or Home Depot.

I rented a small excavator to remove silt from an irrigation pond. As usual Western Implement was fair, prompt, and dependable - delivering the excavator on the appointed date and charging a reasonable price. .

They dont stand behind the warranty on equipment has been going down hill for some time

Rented a disc here, cheapest brand made, got it to my field and noticed it was broken so i call and let the owner know who tells me go ahead and use it, cant hurt it anymore and we will fix it when you return. A week after I returned he proceeds to charge my credit card over $750 dollars for repairs and extra days of rent he supposedly lost due to it being broken. All for a disc that cost $1200 to buy new. SCUMBAG! DONT RENT HERE!

I called and asked if they fixed small engines there, and was told they did. So I took my weedeater there. It was a Green Machine and then they told me to take it to John Deer, they couldnt fix it. I thought a small engine is a small engine, I didnt know it had to be a specific tipe to be worked on there. Found the parts on line and fixed it myself. Ok the second time went there for a compression fitting, I had found one on line for about $25, but called here to see they said they did for about $30 so I thought might as well go there I dont have to wait for it. Got there it ended up to be $75 didnt buy it. The fact is I live a hour drive from here need better customer service.

They have almost everything, and are always helpful. Theyve become a real Grand Junction feature. Theyve incorporated several businesses in one, with a chainsaw shop/small engine repair, a work clothing store, implement parts and sales, irrigation supply, and most of all a pretty full selection hardware store.

I have been coming to Western Implement for forty years and have always had top quality help and customer service. This is a multi generational business ran by fathers then handed over to the sons. When I first started going to Western Implement LeRoy Coleman was in charge, then he handed operations to his boys Jim and Gene. Now they are handing operations down to their sons, Dillon and Tyler.After all these years the same top quality customer service and knowledge has been maintained. If they do not have what you are looking for, they will order it in for you in a couple days.

Always plenty of staff on hand. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent variety of tools, equipment, gardening and lawncare supplies. Also carry farm equipment and some clothing.

They were of great help to me with my Trimmer, even installed a used part that they had at no cost to me. They were quick and efficient in doing it too.

My Stihl dealer couldnt get the parts I needed for an old 011 Stilh Chainsaw. Found Western Implement (stihl part # search) a few states away (TN) and called and talked to Ken. Never met or seen them, but they were nice and helpful, called back everytime they said they would. Got my parts. I hope the local and regional people appreciate them!!!!!
