I Would not recommend buying a home from Clayton Homes in Grand Junction, Co. I purchased my home 3 years ago and had nothing but problems. And they say theres only a 1 year warranty, I had to replace part of the roofing, the flooring sqeaked, and cracking walls also now my ac is going out, it would never turn off automatically, when I asked they told me just leave at 70 and youll be fine. What a joke!!

Great place to buy a new home.

Unfortunately I was unable to look at all the homes that were inthe lot since for some strange reason they now keep all their homes locked and you must have them unlock them one by one. Not all home designs work for everyone so very important to see all designs that you can because it may be same sqft & manufacturer but a different interior design will either work or not you have to see them. This makes it difficult to truly make a informed choice.

I would give 0 stars. Bad business ethics. We purchased a home this year. So many things wrong with it, and we didnt get what was promised and paid for. Warranty doesnt do any good because they take months (if at all) to get out here and they dont get back with you. Very cheap workmanship done and weve had to hire contractors to get it done ourselves. We have several nails coming up through the floor! Dont do business with them. Youll be sorry. Not sure why they even send a salesperson out with you. My wife and I wanted to take a look at a few homes and the guy showing them to us was just about useless! He definitely wasnt trying to sell us a house. I will definitely be looking elsewhere.

Not very helpful. I just walked in and asked if they have price list, no, we dont. I asked how much 2000 sq ft house, he said I dont know, it depends on what you want to do, I asked ballpark prices, he said I dont know. Did not want to help me in any way. Body language said it all. Horrible customer service. It was a man, tall guy, didnt get a chance to have a chat. In and out in less than 30 seconds. I wanted info, Im wanting to buy a $200,000 home and he just looked down at me. You just lost my business!

We started the buying process from Clayton homes about a year ago. Everything was great at first. They were good about answering questions and staying on top of things. However, after the house was done and they got their money, things went downhill. The first issue we ran into, was they ended up having to rush finishing our house. In the beginning, they gave us a specific date that the house would be done and ready to live in. My boyfriend, who I bought the house with, was starting a new job and we needed a place to live in by the time he was supposed to start. The date they gave us, that the house would be done, worked out because my boyfriend needed to start his job the same week. The reason they needed to rush our house was because after they got the house on the land, they let it sit there for around a month without doing anything. For the house to be live-able, they needed to connect all the electricity and the gas line and a bunch of other stuff. But they didn’t do anything that needed to be done until after the house had been sitting on the lot for a month. So they ended up having to rush finishing the house so we could live in it by the time we were told in the first place. This resulted in them doing a poor job on a lot of stuff, leaving things unfinished/unpainted, and not cleaning up messes that they made when they were setting up the house. We had cabinet doors that were put on crooked, baseboards that they never glued on, door frames that are falling apart, roof shingles that were never put on, and parts of the house on the outside that were not painted. This is all fine, because I figured that they would fix it at some point, soon after we moved in. However it’s been 7 months since we have moved into the house and nothing has been done. The house also didn’t have the air conditioner put in when we moved in. They did come and finish that about a month ago, after it already started getting hot. It was hot for about a month where we had no air conditioner. They also did it wrong the first time, so my boyfriend had to figure it out himself because they basically refuse to come to our house because it’s a little out of their way. I also want to mention that even though they rushed the process of finishing the house, it still ended up being past the date we were told in the first place. So we had to find a place to live for about 2 weeks while they were finishing it. The lady that we worked with in buying the house was great at first, but since she got paid we have barely heard from her, even though we still have multiple issues with the house. I just can’t believe it’s been 7 months and they still haven’t been here to fix the problems. They keep scheduling a date to come out, but keep changing it because more important stuff comes up. I don’t really recommend working with this branch.

We recently purchased a new home from Clayton homes. Everyone in the office has been great answering questions and making sure our house was finished quickly as they could. Erika was our sales person and was wonderful to work with. She responded to my texts as promptly as she could. We are in love with our new home and would recommend to anyone looking

We are impressed with the quality of these manufactured homes. Working with Clayton homes at first was a little discouraging as I don’t live in the area. After switching to Shawn and working with Erica Burch all of our questions were answered and we got great service!! Even after the house was paid for they continue to follow up and make repairs. Jamie walked me through the house and was excellent answering all my questions. We are very happy with everything!

I needed info on how a modular is typically set up for adding new gas appliances to an existing modular and was having difficulty getting answers from plumbers so I called Clayton Homes and spoke with Brian who went out of his way to call their plumber to find the answers for me. I can now move forward with my plan. Thank you Brian, I really appreciate your help. If he spent time answering my question and I am not a potential customer, I imagine he will do an excellent job for his clients.

Awesome houses if you got the money.

My husband and I drove to junction to look around the homes and received some of the greatest tours and information anyone could get when buying a new mobile home! Steven showed us around and worked with our budget and size constraints. Steven was so helpful and so easy to work with. We highly recommend those looking to purchase to give Clayton Homes a shot! They have some amazing homes for an awesome price!!

Was pleased with this company and this location till later in the process. They told us and promised that any damages and drywall that breaks is covered by them and they will fix. Come closer to the house being set and finished we find out that they will not be doing the repairs and will not be replacing and fixing any of the drywall. That our contractor will have to do it and will be on our dime. This is extremely bad business and I extremely recommend not going with them or if you do make sure you get this in writing. Every single wall either has to be repaired or replaced. But wont uphold to their responsibilities and word.

We started looking for a home in August of 2018. We quickly realized that for what we really wanted, having a new build was the best bet. We started working with Michael G on finding the perfect home for our new lot. He has been there every step of the way, answering my thousands of questions and soothing my anxiety! Never once did I feel like I was bothering him or that we were unimportant. Often he would call me before I could call him to give me updates and next steps. The first thing they ask is what the maximum the bank will borrow you is and wont give you any idea what things cost so that when they give you a quote it comes out to as much as they think they can milk you for. High pressure sales tactics and slimy sales staff. Avoid if possible. They wont even discuss the decently priced ones you have seen on the website saying that will take 6 months for you to get.

My fiancé and I first came to Clayton Homes not really knowing what we were looking for and Brian Quintana helped us out from the very beginning. Im pleased overall with the home I got from clayton. It was all organized by Erica Burch. She did a good job on most everything but the septic system and who they use to install doors and paint. It was an existing system and it was inspected prior to my family moving in. I told erica that if it is no good, then to have a new one built. I honestly think that they did not have it inspected, or at least inspected properly (SHORTCUT). It was a bad system and they let me move in anyway. Not 1 year went by and the leach field started failing and I was denied any help from erica. 2 years have gone by and Im having to pay for a new one. It is very expensive. I asked erica for help and she did not even acknowledge me trying to get ahold of her. I would not recommend anyone using someone who would take a shortcut like this.

I was given a list of lenders to do research on potentially getting a loan, via email pdf. I couldnt open the file at my office do I deleted it. I called to get the list and nobody would give it to me because I couldnt remember who sent it to me. What kind of business are they running? Im confused by their ignorance

Was great when first started process!!! Then they received our money!! Went downhill fast from not receiving products such as matching toilets different colors for tank and toilet, no tub arrived, so gave me one out of model with scratches then repaired scratches only to get in and many, forgot cabinets so many little issues. that became so frustrating then move in.Only to have floors sink in areas for they did not support properly had to lift up under home with more support which made The walls crack apart. Every time I called was offered up someone different always passing to another person.So as I write this it has been one year & 28 days and now the roof where Clayton attaches on site shingles went flying yes there were winds yet would not have happened if attached properly! This I know for the roofer stated was not attached correct! Have had roofs previous with other homes and yes after 20 years did fly off and had replaced also with the shingles gave me 10 year warranty apparently Clayton only covers all for one year! So disappointed with the Clayton experience!!

Purchased a 2014 model home was not delivered until July of 2015. Within the last year we have had numerous plumbing leaks, faulty electrical that has destroyed personal property and injured our children. The home is riddled with thousands of drywall cracks. Doors and windows that will either not open nor shut all the way. The kitchen cupboards are comming apart and falling off the walls. The metal roof is bent all to heck and coming loose from home movement as the foundation work was done incorrectly. This is according to several inspectors including a colorado state inspector. The foundation has already begun to detererate it is litterally rotting and falling apart. The dealer has stated numerous times they would resolve issues only to deny requests for even work they were paid to do but never finished much a less to fix any issues. If you enjoy wasting money on services that will either not be provided correctly if at all, being lied to repeatedly, ignored, and told your imagining things no matter how visible issues are to everyone then by all means please create your own nightmare. Even our children have nothing nice to say about this company who lied to them repeatedly. Really who builds up kids hopes and dreams to intentionally shatter them?

Should be a first stop when searching for a home. Great experience.
