The staff are awesome and the gear is exactly what you need for each season. The gear is good and priced appropriately.

Everyone here is super nice! They even transported some items I wanted from the Glenwood store to the Junction store and they installed the gear I purchased.

I guess alot of ski apparel places deal with some terrible people so its comes out in their customer service. These guys were a completely different and pleasant experience to say the least. The guy at the counter showed us and our then unruly children infinite patience. We only had this last night to get our gear in order and our kids were not helping the cause! The guy that helped us was super friendly and informative. He treated us very kind and helped to get us the right gear for the right cost. Thank you

Been shopping here for 20 years, definitely the go-to spot in Junction. Great selection of high-end outdoors clothing and gear, friendly personal service, great sales and reward programs. No junk or second rate products, only the best brands. If they dont have your preferred model or size, theyll get it for you no hassle. Return policies are great. Well designed, attractive store in perfect downtown location.

Nice store, very friendly and flexible staff, with good gear rental prices and options. They dont rent the avalanche gear, though. Try Outdoor program at the University for that (can probably rent other gear there too)

Read the reviews, gave it a shot anyways I know its colorado.. But the employees were REALLY slow. Not all there, and hardly any help. Im pretty sure they were blazed. Which is cool, but on the job? Come on..

GJ: Great selection, excellent prices and knowledgeable and courteous staff. You wont get vibed here like you will at Pagan. Support your local gear shop and youll have climbing karma out the wazoo.

The prices are a little higher than other stores, but I like their points system and I appreciated the military discount.

Rented a paddleboard.. took over an hour for the employee to produce a rental agreement, all in all spent around 2 hours here to rent a board. Kind of killed the better part of my afternoon.

If you are an outdoors mountain loving activities sort of person you will live Summit Canyon... everything you need to get outside needed to be safe and enjoy the mountains!

We went to rent paddle boards and it was absolutely the worst experience ever the lady who helped us get the paddleboard’s seem like it was the end of the world to do her own job didn’t give us the right size lifejackets or the right fins for the paddle so the paddle just sat there all day Go to SUB rentals down at highline Lake she’s the best !!!!!

Very educated employees. Small, local gear shop still making it in a town with corporate REI. Provides different products on hand than big box, and can order in most any model if the store supplies that brand.

Worst service Ive seen from any shop on main street. called in prior to my visit, was informed they had something that they clearly did not. Once inside the store, we were ignored by the employees even after making eye contact and asking for help.

Horrible service. Went in to buy a few hundred bucks of backpacking and camping gear for wildland fire season and didnt even get acknowledged. I was one of 3 or 4 customers in the store and the three Employees just sat behind the counter playing on their phones. I ended up leaving and went elsewhere to buy my gear.

Walked in,...never was greeted by any of the 3 employees who were sitting around goofing off. Was looking to spend $800 on gear and had to walk out. I ALWAYS try to support local outfitters and not shop online, but this is a store that has lost my business (btw, worked in outdoor sports store for 7 yrs myself and have been a industry pro for 20 yrs)

I went in, I bought something, I left. No problem.

I called and spoke to a gentleman inquiring if they had a specific rope that I have purchased in the past from them, he told me they had it. I made a specific trip to GJ just for it. When I arrived I had to ask for assistance finding it 3 times before the employees got done chatting to each other in the center kiosk. Only to be told that they havent carried it for over a year.
