Staff here isnt the friendliest but professional and they do their jobs well. Usually unloaded in less than an hour. Decent size facility with plenty of room.
Its nice to see that at least this location seems to take care of their employees because the same cannot be said about the customers they make doors for. This location is grossly negligent when it comes to the quality of their doors and I have filed a formalized complaint, cautioning any and all would be customers of JELD-WEN the following:Do not ever buy from JELD-WEN if this is going to be the location responsible for making your door. You will spend months of time and multiple reorders as they send nothing but unacceptable products.I will detail my story below with some documentation to whomever is concerned:Back in August of 2018 I ordered a fire rated door and received the door a couple weeks later. However, the door that was shipped had defects that compromised the integrity of the door and so it was sent back and reordered. This process has now gone on several more times, as you will see below, and I have still yet to receive the door. I asked Lowes and they told me this plant is the only one in the country that this problem. My situation is apparently not an isolated incident, every order from this plant takes a minimum of 2-3 re-orders to get it right. This should not be an industry standard and so I took to reaching out to the company for a resolution.When I spoke with JELD-WEN, I asked for them to have a different facility make my door. They refused, saying this is not possible. As a result, I moved on to the BBB and filed a formal complaint.The company eventually tried to call me once on the 6th of March, to which I called back 2 minutes later and was advised by the operator she would find out who called. No response that day. On the 7th I called again, no new info, she would find out who called. No response that day as well.So since I cant reach anyone by phone, I must take to the review boards and forums to spread my story hoping I can reach some of you that really matter: the consumer.
