Our company (Outback Welding) has purchased dry ice from Continental Carbonic previously. Recently we called in to check the price, we were quoted approx .68 per pound. Our driver arrived, was loaded and went on his way. At this point a representative from Continental Carbonic called our owner. Mind you the driver had already left their facility and was in route. The representative relayed to us that now the price was over $2 per pound. This was very unprofessional for them to wait until the order had been reserved and accepted. Not sure how the price can realistically go up this much without so much as any notification.

After several attempts by phone and e-mail, I was unable to speak with our regional sales rep about setting up an account for monthly deliveries for our laboratory. The only correspondence I ever received form the company was an automated e-mail from their website and a brief phone call which I initiated with the sales rep who said he would call me back, then never did. It is obvious that this company is not interested in new clients or increased sales.
