I bought a Sega Genesis from them it work perfectly. I really like old games I havent played in years so thats why I got one. It was a reasonable price so I bought it with a game called battle master. The game is super difficult because its an old rpg with no directions on what your suppose to be doing. I still had fun with it, and might be going there again soon to get a Super Nintendo maybe.

The new staff is so helpful and the store is always organized. Definitely going to be here on a regular basis.

Wouldnt accept my PS4 by telling me that it wouldnt connect to the internet when it connected perfectly fine 30 minutes before and after when I traded it in at GameStop.

Im not too happy with this company. I bought a copy of pocket fighters for ps1. Which wasnt cheap and I assumed all games are tested. Well I happen to be the only lucky one to pay more then $45.00 for a broken F!#$en game. So do to the fact that I work and go to school i couldnt test it the day I bought it and I lost the receipt. Would have been nice to have an option to email the receipt. So now Im stuck with this unless item thanks Game Exchange. I guess Ill be looking for a new place to purchase my games and spend my money at.

I love Gaming zone. They habe the best collection of games. I get bored with games fast. I can buy new games or trade mine for new ones, which is awesome. Great place. Highly recommend you to check it out if ypu are an avid gamer like me.

As most gamers are aware, during the pandemic, Gamestop, bailed on us. Not The GameExchange! With more than fair prices on trade ins and used games, the staff is always friendly. I find everything I need, everytime! Oh, and the deals are awesome. Sometimes its buy 3 used games and get 2 used free. And I am an elder statesman gamer meaning I am over 40 so its nice to find classics that my wife can kick back and play. Definitely visit this store location.

Its good but I have bought 2 games from there in two days and one was cracked and now I have another that isnt working because its scratched up. So now I have to go return this one and try to get another one, but before I leave the store Im make sure its nothing wrong with it. But overall the people that worked there are great, they give great customer service and they try to help you with whatever you are looking for. Do they everything to make their customers happy.

Great Experience the first couple of times there. Especially the second visit. Amanda was awesome. she shared the special pricing they have on DVD Box sets (Buy Two, Get One Free). When I went back the next day I was told Amanda was mistaken about the prices of the the DVDs, Box sets, and 4Ks.. I thought this was a bit strange, but things happen, right? I tried to get clarity from Amanda as I traveled quite a ways to get to the store, but I guessed the value I would receive on any purchase would make the trip worth it. Miss Amanda has not been available; the two guys working in her place make me feel as though I made up the pricing. It would have been nice if they had just called her to see what it is she told me; I could have been wrong (I wasnt; I still have my receipt) but things being the way they are now, I just left. Still like the store; however, the team working there could use a little teamwork. Thanks.

They scammed me for a game, and had friends give us half what they told me the game was worth on the phone. traded in my spider man game, and they were supposed to give me 30, but said it was only worth 16. I called another location, and said they arent supposed to do it. The other location also said that it is supposed to be worth 30 dollars.

First time here and disappointed. Cashier checked us out before looking for the game. The game was $20.55. With tax. They didnt have the game and they dont do refunds so we couldnt get our money back instead they gave us store credit. We dont want the store credit we want the 20$.

Rip off! Dont waste your time. Extremely expensive and wont pay shiznit if youre trying to sell something. They are better than movie trading company though.

Come here every now and then to add to my playstation 2 collection and I nearly always find something that catches my interest. While I havent had many conversations with the staff, Ive heard the staff assisting customers and talking to them about video games and other merchandise often. Great prices, pretty good options for retro collectors, and staff who know what they are talking about.

Personally, better than GameStop. Larger selection, better prices. I also like supporting local business more. Friendly staff.

Solid place, the DVD selection has way too many of the same DVDs but the Blu rays have a solid selection.Decent prices on the consoles and the game selection is straight as well. I didnt buy anything my 1st time there but I plan to eventually. Itll get better as time comes

The upper echelon must severely pressure their employees. I’ve been here twice to get a controller for two different consoles and twice I was unimpressed with the provided service. The first was a PS3 controller with intent to get pre owned but I wasn’t given a chance to pick a controller, instead they picked a controller with a missing thumb pad. I even asked for them to trade it out for a controller with all the thumb pads and I was told he was getting one from the back. In the end it was just a rubber add on meant to fit over a normal thumb pad and didn’t fit. So I told them it didn’t work right and they gave me a different controller the next day. My next visit was with the intent to purchase a NEW PS4 controller. This guy Kristofer (according to the receipt) kept pushing the pre owned and said the pre owns get a warranty for 90 days and that it looks practically brand new blah blah blah. I politely declined multiple times just to be met with a loud sigh as if I was being difficult. In the end it turns out NEW accessories ALSO get a 90 day review and as he explained that portion of check out he choked himself and sighed again as if he didn’t mean to mention it. My experience so far is that they push off what THEY want to sell and not what the CUSTOMER wants to buy. I feel as though I was treated roughly with their customer service because they are too aggressive with their salesmanship.

Was buying a game for my son and guy behind the counter told me i think ur son wants this one thats a older game .i will definitely go back he was honest he lost a sale over being honest but gained a customer for it.

If I could give this store a ZERO I would! I would not advise ANYONE to shop here! I believe they do NOT care about their customers! Not one bit! I purchased a game a week ago not knowing the game was defective. I went home and it did not work. I went back to the store the very next morning to return it for another copy. Upon inspecting the game, the associate Chris stated that the game should have never been sold because it was damaged. I asked for a refund (they do not honor refunds under any circumstances). Because of this, I asked for a replacement. They only had one copy of the game. I was told by Elizabeth (another manager) that I would have to wait another 3 days to get the replacement game since it was at their Cleburne location and I would get a call when it’s ready to be picked up. Well to make a long story short, no one ever called me! I called and spoke with Chris and his attitude was HORRIBLE. He acted as if he did not care that I had spent my money on a game I did not have. He was very rude and had a very sarcastic attitude. He stated he would contact Kayla (area manager) and call me back. He never did. After asking to speak with a manager he refused to give me any information and said that the store manager Paul was on vacation. After calling and complaining I was finally able to speak with Kayla and she said the game “may” arrive on Friday. She too acted as if she did not care because it took days to hear from her. She told me that she had to deliver the game to the GP store and did not know she was supposed to do so which is why it didn’t arrive when expected. No one ever told her that the game should be delivered. (According to Kayla). Today is Saturday and I’m just now getting a game I paid for a week ago after calling and complaining. Oh and might I add, this company failed to do much of anything for the inconvenience. (They gave me a $2.00 store credit. Not joking. Can upload receipt). I was obviously annoyed and spoke with Paul the store manager about my experiences with Chris and he stated “I’m only a glorified babysitter. I can’t control the people who work here”. As I was speaking with Paul Chris overheard my complaints and jumped into the conversation. He became extremely disrespectful and even made a threat towards me stating he has a “bad temper” while walking towards me. I will be filing a report. I asked Paul to have him go in the back so we could talk. As a manager Paul stated he cannot control Chris with a smirk on his face. Paul had no control and him and Chris were both extremely disrespectful to a woman! I left with a number to corporate and will be calling them. I experienced nothing but poor customer service, bad quality games, a manager who can’t control his store, out of control workers shop here. I would advise everyone to shop at Game Stop! Anywhere but here! RUN!!

I get all my Blu rays here and games for my XBOX 360, too.It says on the bottom of the receipt: no cash refunds, you get store credit back. So thats cool, because I shop here a lot, anyways. 90 days to return, if damaged, for an exchange or store credit. Very explanatory and fair.

Walked in to buy a game for my wife on my way home from work. i walked in and the guy behind the counter pretty quickly asked me to put my back pack behind his counter like i was being accused of stealing.i rode my motorcycle to work obviously using a back pack to carry the thing i was to buy. i just walked out never would a tell someone to go here with the punk kids behind the counter.

Im currently in a situation right now with these guys. As of today, well March 28 I bought a brand new ps4 dualshock. It was defective. They didnt have any at the time to replace so they gave me a used joystick and a credit and a promise that they were ordering new ones for the 1st. They took my number and said they would call. Well the replacement didnt work so I waited a week and after no call went up there to see. Still not in. So they replaced the replacement. It is now April 13th, still no call. Planning to call in morning to check.So I will give a FINAL rate at the end of this ordeal. But being that this happened on the 28th of March and its the 14th of April....EDIT EDITSo next day, today, Im sitting in parking lot holding my brand new controller. Soon as I walked in the manager Im assuming recognized me and was in process of calling me....Beside the 3 week wait...if the controller works. Then Im satisfied.

I always come to buy games for my 360 now that they stopped selling them every where else and this is by far, THE GREATEST collection of used games in the entire city. If youre a gamer, this is the gold mine.

My 15 yo son needed a controller for his ps4 so I let them purchase it at the store while I waited in the car. He came back and I noticed it was overpriced so I told them to go return it. The store has a NO CASH REFUNDS policy. We hadnt even left the parking lot and they didnt want to refund us. Wont ever be back to Game X Change

Went there for the first time and bought 3 games. We paid for the games and starting walking to the door to leave and the disc for the games were not in the case, they forgot to put the disc in the case. So we told them and they put them in there. So we got home and put in the games. The first two were nfs pri street and gta san andreas. They were not backwards compatible with the xbox one. So we put in the third game witch was cod black ops 2. So we thought. But it didnt work. And we looked at the disc and it was black ops 3.So we took the games back up to them store and got in store credit for the two games and got the correct disc for black ops 2. So we bought 2 orther games that worked and we tried black ops 2, but the disc was scratched up and they knew it was scratched up too because they looked at the back of the disc and then put it in the case.. my friends and I will not be purchasing anymore games from this facility.
