Tried to explain to the Owner how I wasnt pleased with the work that was done for a memorial that I was attending on Saturday, May 1st. He was rude and interrupted me often. I got his name and left. I feel he needs people skill training. I wont frequent that establishment again..

Had a printing job I needed done, I sent emails to them of the item I needed and no one responded to the email. I had to personally go to the store to speak with someone in person because no one would answer my email. Once I got there and I got the product print it out it took a little while but I waited because they were very busy. I noticed when I got home that the product was not what I wanted so I called the next day and the owner was not willing to work with me. Will never use them again!

Have been to this location multiple times for business purposes. Each time I had been treated nice by the employees. They had always printed my orders early/ right after they were emailed. The most that needed to be printed were 8 color copies of a flyer. Nothing to large or overly complicated. The last time I was in there Tom was very rude and said that they had 4 hours to complete an order. I understood this but needed the copies quickly and this had not been a problem in the past. He was very rude in the way he handled the situation and said that he had another project to finish. I was the only person standing in the store at the time and they were just color copies. Not some huge project that would have taken 10 plus minutes to print. Will not be using UPS again due to the way I was treated. Will be using FedEx for all my business needs from now on.

I’ve been an employee for TUPS Store going on 6 years now. Today I was enlightened to see a well developed spot free store as I was a customer. Leaving the local skatepark with an eBay sale in hand I decided to stop in instead of turning over the pkg on my shift. I was greeted warmly by two diverse employees and a smile from Tom as he overlooked but did not micro manage his employees. I look forward to doing business again.

I spend north of $8000/year with Tom and Peggy at the two stores they own. This year ends that. From mailing my clients empty envelopes, to not following instructions on print orders to finally closing early and making picking up orders after an hour drive impossible. Good bye and good luck.

Overpriced. Would rather wait longer at the USPS across the street than pay $25 for a small package. Employee was rude when I asked why the item was double the price of other UPS stores. Male employee not wearing mask and coughing.Edit: Store response shows a lack of awareness and training. The female employee that helped me told me that each UPS prices things differently. Regarding COVID guidelines, multiple employees and many customers within a 6 foot radius of each other without masks is a bit short of the mark.

I absolutely love and appreciate Tom and his team! I no longer have to worry about theft of my packages from my porch, because I now have a mailbox there and have all my parcels delivered to the UPS Store. Its easy and convenient to swing by and pick them up! I highly recommend them!

Ive used these folks LOTS of times for all kinds of business and personal needs. And Ive used plenty of UPS stores around the country. The people here are GREAT. Negative reviews are funny ... aside from certain exceptions, often when people post them, theyre mad at life in general, and love taking it out on any sub-par experience.Great store, great staff.

They know by name, carry heavy boxes out to my car, and always do a great job with my printing jobs. Very patient and kind to me, I appreciate their service! Ill continue to do business here as long as I live in Kansas City. (There are other ups store closer to my house but this one is worth the drive!)

Usually pretty busy. Sometimes you have to wait, while they are waiting with others for services. Seems like they could multitask a little better. But for simple jobs and if everything is packaged correctly, it is a good option. Copies are great priced during October and April! Very professional copying experience and is the place to go to get large jobs done quickly.

I have been shipping with UPS for the past 10 years. I shop frozen meat to my customers. UPS purposely held my customers package in Kenturkey for three days and the meat went bad. I sent my customer to collect her package they refused to give it to her after she presented her Id with her address on it. I went to Grandview UPS store to find out what was going on . the man who runs the place by name Tom threw all kind of racial slurs to me and my husband. This man is sick.will not share the kind of things he said. Please stay away from UPS.

I have been a customer for over 4 years with my mailbox. I have nothing but great things to say about this store!! The owner Scott is a delight and very professional. The service clerks are so polite and awesome. Hoping to become a customer for as long as I am in Missouri.. a very looong time :)

Ive been a customer here for 5 years now. Ive had only one semi negative experience in that whole time, and the staff member who was involved apologized. All these other 1 star reviews are interesting. As long as you are polite and respectful, the staff there (including management) reciprocate the same thing. Nobody has ever disrespected me or belittled me. I recommend these guys for sure!

Very poor customer service, I had difficulty understanding shipping prices and packaging prices from Kaylee the rude cashier then the manager Jennifer actually yelled at me in front of other customers. I never raised my voice and I asked would she please not yell at me because I’m not yelling at her. She stated that I don’t understand and she will continue to yell. I’ll never return to Grandview UPS store again Can’t believe Tom and Peggy the owners of the franchise would operate like this.

Went in to Grandview MO, UPS store to return a corporate phone using a return service label through a large corporation that uses UPS very very frequently. Gentleman said that they were gonna charge a dollar to tape the Box closed. When I questioned that, He got very belligerent and told me he would not ship the package without the dollar. I told him to build a corporation if it was that big of a deal and he flipped me off straight to my face. And said see you later buddy. His name was Tom Lundquist and his name badge said Owner. There is also other customers in the Room. When I ask him did you really just do that, he did it a second time.

My disabled son needed to ship a letter to Colorado by Saturday, on Thursday he went into this UPS owned by Tom. Tom told him overnight for a letter was $55, he told Tom he needed to get it there by Saturday. He called home to ask if he should do that. We advised him to ask about Second Day air. He went back in and purchased Second Day for $35 for a letter he could have mailed USPS for .49, but Second Day from Thursday would be Saturday so hence the high cost. When we got the tracking the letter would not be delivered till Monday 4 days later, because UPS doesnt deliver on Saturdays. Tom didnt mention this, just took his money knowing this missed the needed deadline and $34.50 higher than needed to be payed. I called the owner Tom to see if he would make this right beings he was told it needed to be delivered on Saturday and he had taken advantage of a disabled boy. He was over the top rude right off the top, which screamed he knew what he had done and didnt care who he had taken advantage of. He had the nerve to yell at me that Im a she-bear overprotective of my son because he walked out of the store to call about the $55 dollar cost. Who really goes that far, or was that because I almost kept my son from this man ripping him off $55, and that makes him mad??? Do business with USPS down the block, youll be glad you did not support a business owner that treats people with disabilities or anyone in such a manner. The seemingly professional replies he gives to these comments is not at all how he speaks to people in person. Read thru the reviews and youll get the picture of who and what he is. In reply to the owners reply this young man has hoses hanging off of him not able to hide all of them in his pocket. Owner was too busy trying to take his money to notice...

I had an issue with an item that was shipped to me from, and packaged by this UPS store. In short the owner made it right by me and then some! Theres no question about that. Keep reading if you want more detail.Some cons that I feel should be acknowledged: The item shipped to me was a hood. It was packaged poorly, no other way to slice it. No protection provided at the obvious points of the hood near where it meets the edges of the windshield. So they poked right through the single layer cardboard and were damaged rendering the entire hood useless. Additionally, I was listed as the recipient on the shipment although I was paying the UPS store for packaging and shipping. In hind sight, I really should have been the shipper as well, and I was never offered insurance, which I would have paid for. Finally, at one point during the extended process of getting a UPS claim approved, the owner did give me some attitude when checking for an update; I waited at least 2 weeks between my calls. A little more proactive communication would have helped overall - never underestimate the power of a no new updates or we havent forgot about you update.Now the pros that must be acknowledged and why I gave a 5 star review: The owner was quick to own the mistake of the poor packaging job and not offering me they payor insurance. That was important to me. He assured me he would do everything he could to make it right. Despite the fact that I didnt have insurance though UPS, he fought hard for my case and was persistent with UPS. I dont know the internal dealings but it sounded like they didnt make it easy. Heres the real kicker, he got me 50% more on the claim check than I had into the hood, packaging and shipping cost. There is no question the owner made this situation right by me. As a small business owner myself, I know its nearly impossible to deliver 5 for 5 every time, despite the best efforts. But any business that owns the mistake, commits to make it right and goes above and beyond making it right deserves 5 stars! Period.

Manager was very rude and prob shouldnt be a manager. I was just trying to get something notorized. He could have nicely said they stop doing that after a certain time. Instead he was sighing shaking his head. I tried to explain i called before they said they could so he needed to let employess know when someone calls. He was still very rude. So i will pass along my experience and hopefully less people will go there. Or they will get rid of the manager. When i was trying to speak to him he walked off. Not business like at all.

After getting a free return shipping label on damaged shipment. I went to this store to send off my package they printed out a label and started putting tape on my return package and said you owe us a dollar for tape. Lmao..... they put 2-1ft pieces of tape on my package that I didnt ask for or need. Stay away from this store.SCAM!!!! Hey management!!! If youre trying to screw people out of a dollar for 5 cents worth of tape you should let them know ahead of time. USE FEDEX! !! #UPSBLOWS!

There is a reason this location has such poor reviews. Management is very rude. I have a small business and ship the same package frequently. I came to this UPS because it is closer to my home then the one I usually visit. Time and time again and I am treated like I am stupid. The general staff is nice enough, but the owners/management need to find some humility.

Rip off alert I went this morning to print a document.First I ask if they could find it on Google. She said she does not do that .male note I was there at 8 am sharp no one was there so as courtesy she could but she did not .The I downloaded the form to my cell phone and she said to send it to me .I did as she told me . Than she print it and said it was $ 1.10 I ask why so much . She explained now after the print. 1.00 to pull the document from email and .10 for printing.If she would have told she was going to charge me 1.00 for just opening an email I would have went else where .That is outrageous fee.I would only go to ups store ever again if they are the only store in the world........I probably spend $200 dollars a week for shipping and printing at FedEx am going to stick with that . Not even a penny ups will get from me.

I needed to return something to Amazon - came here with the label, but needed a box. Because I was pressed for time, I allowed myself to be gouged for $10.50 for a cardboard box. I have used this store before without problem, but that is the last dollar you will receive from me. I will not return.

The owner of this store has a wife that has a store on Raytown Road which she is very unprofessional to her customers and staff. Please refer to that stores reviews in what I say. Her attitude to her customers and particular staff of African American race shows that she doesnt trust them and talks to them in very disrespect. The husband is very aware of these problem at her store from compliants and reviews and still allows this to jeopardize their business. I am submitting a request to the Better Business Bureau and also to the Missouri State Human Relations Department for investigation because this should not be aloud in any business...If there others who have had similar experiences at any of their store locations in Grandview or Raytown, MO please submit a review because your voices will be heard finally..

I just went to have a document notarized. I explained to her there was a checklist of things i needed her to complete; which she did incorrectly. The notary was extremely rude. It was apparent she hates her job.. something that should be fairly easy has now turned into me trying to correct her mistakes. If you need something notarized do not go to this ups location she needs more training. *** In typical UPS fashion they have replied with No apology for the poor customer service, nor offered to correct the issue of me paying for a service that was completed incorrectly***. Ive been in customer service for 10 yrs and I know how it should work! I will never return to this store. Poor service, Poor management!
