Customer service is fantastic very knowledgeable staff. Great selection to choose from. Even a kids play corner for when you look around they even have a bathroom you can use. I would highly recommend going here before going to a big box stores. Overall way better experience than big box stores.

Did not deliver the stove that I purchased. A different color. Tried to tell me they had one coming back and would call and swap it out. Do not want one someone already used. Decided to keep the one they delivered. It is nice but dont know what kind of scam theyre pulling but guess where Im not buying my new washer and dryer. Funny the glass wasnt broken on the one I purchased

This place is great. Prices are comparable to big box stores but they carry some higher end models. Customer service is top notch. Whether on the phone or in person everyone I spoke with was courteous and helpful. I bought a washing machine on site but was also given advice on a leaking dishwasher issue that no one else—including Jenn Air—was willing to help me with. Just an all around great experience at Elders. I will definitely be back.

Buyer beware. There is a undisclosed $50 restocking fee on all orders placed. Apparently, Elders does not keep anything in stock and they consider every purchase a special order, even on mass produced appliances. There is no mention of special order on the quote I received. I was assessed a $100 restocking fee for 2 out of the 3 appliances ordered. The third appliance had an eta of May 24. I placed the order on Jan 4. I was not in the position to wait another 2 months for the refrigerator and requested to cancel the order. The salesperson was extremely RUDE to the point of hanging up on me. It wasnt the first time to be treated RUDELY by a Elders salesperson. If youre ok with dishonest sales practices and RUDE salespeople, then youve come to the right place.

Ive bought all my appliances from Elders. They have good deals on theyre regular inventory and GREAT deals on the scratch and dent. They try all the scratch and dent before it goes on there showroom floor so you know it works when you buy it. Cant wait for my new washer and dryer to be delivered.

With a small percent down, they held the appliances that I loved for a couple of weeks. When delivery day came, they were right on time and were very friendly. I purchased two scratch and dent appliances and still have yet to find the scratch or dents!I never knew I could love a range and fridge so much! I can say that another time I went back the customer service with different sales people were not as good. Make sure you verify what product you are getting. I had ordered a darker charcoal type colored washer and dryer. Upon delivery they sent white ones and when I called to ask about this they lied to me and stared nope you looked at and ordered white.I asked my girlfriend just to be sure I wasnt going crazy. I mean its one thing to send the wrong color but to lie to me is a whole different thing.

Nice place for retail-priced appliances, but make sure you price shop! Every item I looked at in the scratch and dent area was priced below MSRP, but above what many stores charge for the same item on sale, undamaged.I didnt look at every item, but the damaged stove and washers in my price range were not a good deal. I ended up getting an obsolete, lightly dented, returned item from Lowes, original price $899, for $259. THAT is how you sell a scratch and dent, Elders.

What a great place to do business, bought a scratch and sent diswasher, saved over $100

About a month ago I bought a washer and dryer set - didnt haggle - just asked for the best they had and paid for it. They were delivered 2 or 3 days later. While putting the first load of laundry in the dryer, I noticed that one of the selector buttons on the dryer was very hard to press - sticky Id call it. This was an hour after Id taken delivery. I called Elders to tell them and they said heres GEs phone# - call them. That felt like the wrong thing to tell your customer. Since I hadnt had cash for a tip for the delivery guys, I mailed it along with a letter expressing my dissatisfaction that they told me basically not our problem call GE an hour after dropping off $1500 worth of arguably defective w&d. That was close to a month ago and I havent had the courtesy of a reply. You know, I had $2500 worth of Best Buy gift cards sitting on my counter when I bought this set - I like to buy local, but after this and my prior dealings with Decker & Sons, I think I just might be done trying to buy big ticket items locally.

Prices so low its unbelievable. But check your warranties. They ran our 3-year extended warranty with the manufacturer warranty which meant we lost the final year of course was when we needed to use it.

PLUS: There is a play area for kids to stay busy while in a mostly-contained space so parents are able to shop without distraction. And not right by the front door, for those who may be concerned with leaving your child of appropriate age, unattended. And half walls...for open sightlines. Very nice feature. It appeared clean and at least decently maintained, unlike many fast food play areas weve all NOT allowed our children to enter.The selection of display models is quite large (we went in browsing all six majors: stove/range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave (ove-the-range style), and washer/dryer combos). This includes an area for discounted items. Your typical scratch and dent issues.Major brands that I recall: Whirlpool & GE ... there were others, but those seemed to be their majors.The price ranges were fair to high-middle range...again, this is on display models. I am sure they would be able to get you something in the upper echelon, should you desire.Lasly, the sales people were knowledgeable and RESPECTFUL. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Yes, please greet me and ask if I, and thank you. However, if I say I am would like to simply browse...allow me to do so. I am an intelligent and capable individual. If I have questions I can, and will, find you to ask for further assistance. And please...dont hover! Their sales people passed with flying colors. We were greeted, allowed to peruse and discuss wirhout interruption, and willingly helped with details and suggestions when sought out. THANK YOU!We did not end up buying anything, but Elders will certainly be given a call to put in their bid once a full and informed decision has been reached.Well done Elders!!! We went here looking for a deal on a scratch and dent dishwasher. We did find one for a great price, and the employee who helped us was very helpful and friendly.Yes, we purchased it as a scrat h and dent. Well come to find out this scratch md dent was so old it was out of warranty. Which wouldnt have been an issue if it wasnt damaged when we purchased it.The part that was damaged, was broken upon purchase. Due to the type of part it was, it could not have been something that was broke after it left the store.We called the store, they told us to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer said they could do nothing to help us due to the fact that it was out of warranty. That meant it is many years old. Even though we were told it was the previous years model.We called Elders and they gave us the complete run around. Saying they would have a repair guy help, who never even called us back. We talked to the manager multiple times who did nothing to help us. We called people multiple times a day for over a week and nothing. Here we are 9 months later and the part for the diahwasher is still broken.My husband rigged it up so we could at least use it. But I would recommend anyone who goes here and gets a acratch and dent to be VERY careful. They will not help you or care if it is broken and the product may be years old.

I guess I should have complained more to get quality service. I purchased a stove, refridgerater and microwave to go above the stove. The two service men came and tore out my overhead vent and started hammering and sawing to make a electrical outlet. made a mess!! When he went to put the microwave in, it was a couple of inches above the stove!! Couldnt have that, so they just took back the microwave and left a whole and a mess in my kitchen. I got a refridgerator with an icemaker. He tapped into a pipe in the basement and it must have be connected to the sewer, because I have never been able to use the ice that taste Horrible!! I would never recommend Elders Appliance to anyone. Beware!!
