We stopped by tonight and purchased many sweets! The cookie sandwiches with buttercream filling are so delicious! My husband looks forward to his giant rice krispie treat and I am excited to take my gluten free vanilla cupcake to work as a midday snack tomorrow! The staff member was very kind and we are super happy we were able to make these purchase tonight.

Our grandson was born and we are 2 hours away.... The bouquet was such a sweet gift to our granddaughter and their parents. They were all excited and loved the cookies. The Grand Rapids group is beyond wonderful!

Very high end desserts. They are definitely on the pricey side but it it well worth it for the quality that you’re paying for. They have many different flavors, variety and custom options. Definitely a great option during the pandemic rather than everyone sharing a cake at a birthday party, every one could have their own cupcake courtesy of this place. Cupcakes are good sized and come highly recommended.

GR cookies and cupcakes catered the dessert for our wedding. The cupcakes were to die for. We got chocolate divine and lemon. They look nice and taste amazing. The cutting cake was also nice with a design very similar to the one we asked for, but the cupcakes were the star of the show!!

I placed an order for delivery for a party having amd was called the day before to say they dont have a driver to grt them to me. But if I wanted to drive 2 hours I can pick them up. I was left less than 24 hours before party in notice I wasnt going to have the cookies I ordered. Now Im trying to find a place to get some but its too last minute.

Today I went through one of the most scariest things a woman can be told to have ...a lumpectomy on my right breast at 44 years old. My sweet friend and neighbor Nikki brought me some delicious goodies to cheer me up and make me feel better. These most definitely did. When you don’t feel pretty because something was taken away from you that “identifies” you as a woman. These just made the end of my day even better. Especially from my friend that brought them. They was always my go to for Sweets and this weekend I drove all the way there for few cookies and I couldn’t believe I was pulling hair out my throat to look at the cookies in bag to have hair baked inside the cookies 😢 They were replaced but to be honest I’m afraid to eat those 🤷‍♀️ Didn’t want another hair ball! But hairnets are needed at all times when dealing with food even Sweets

I found Cupcakes by Design online when I needed dessert for a grad party. I’m not a big fan of bought desserts but was trying to do single servings of everything to be COVID safe. Well, the cupcakes and cookies looked amazing and better yet tasted great too. We had so many great comments about them. The packaging was fun too! Very disappointed, I live in Kansas, my son just bought a house in Wyoming, Michigan, so I figured I’d try and help a small business, I placed a order on August 6th at 2pm and to have a cookie cake delivered for his birthday the next day by noon, young lady took my order and gave me a total price, 24 hours later I checked on delivery and nobody had a clue what I was talking about, and really not much compassion about why my order got lost and I contacted the company and still never heard back, this won’t happen again, Sad Birthday Experience :(

We arrived 25 minutes before close which now days usually gets a cold welcome but not the case here we were greeted with a smile and welcome! Needless to say customer service is stellar . I got the lemon cupcake it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet with an absolute perfect lemon taste and texture of cake and cream, loved the tart lemon sprinkle on top. My husband got the peanut butter cupcake he loved the little cookie treat on top and thought the cupcake was good but could have more peanut butter flavor . We will be back!

Cookies & Cupcake by Design is my favorite dessert place to go. Ive never been a huge fan of cupcakes but their cupcakes are AMAZING! They are super moist, have a great variety of flavors, and the frosting is a perfect degree of sweetness. The staff is also very patient and helpful when I am deciding which luscious treat to indulge in!

Cookies are good but when u go there at 330 and they open till 8pm and are out of sugar cookies and most of the other ones its not a great impression or make u want to make the trip back for more

I had a couple different types of cookies. I really loved the lady millennium cookie. The birthday cake cookies were ok. The cupcakes looked really good. They even offered doggy treats that looked fantastic!

I love this place. Their cupcakes are a little heavy on frosting for my taste, but good. My favorites are the cookies. You have never tasted a better Snickerdoodle, and my absolute favorite is the Millionaire & Lady Millionaire- Chocolate, white chocolate, oats, nuts, etc! Absolutely delicious! Better to go earlier in the day as opposed to dinner time because options get lower as the day goes on. My husband and I have also gotten a cookie bouquet for Christmas for our Grandma and it was beautiful! Though a little pricey, it’s always a hit for me!

Got cupcakes for my moms birthday, she absolutely loved them. Just disappointed there wasnt a single vegan option, which would also mean cupcakes for those who cant have eggs or are lactose intolerant. If vegan options were available, Id definitely be back, but probably not until then.EDIT: There are vegan options! Im sold. Updated from 4 to 5 stars.EDIT2: Picked up cupcakes for a staff party. Although I was able to get vegan cupcakes, there were no vegan cookie options, which was slightly disappointing. I even called days in advance and they told me they couldnt do cookies.

We stopped by after dinner for some sweets, wow this place had almost no selection! We got a cupcake a peanut butter bar and peanut butter cup.The cupcake, hard frosting that seemed to be days old. With extremely lackluster taste.The peanut butter bar, was better then the rest but had a oily taste and was almost like the oil separated from the bar because it literally dripped out.The peanut butter cup, chocolate was so hard my wife couldnt bite into it and she said the peanut butter tasted like cheap school lunch peanut butter.Almost 13$ for 3 treats and honestly Meijer has better tasting stuff and I have had better cupcakes from gas stations.Avoid this place if you can and spend your money elsewhere, no love in those cookies just greed.

Artisan prices with home cook quality. Wasnt impressed with anything here for the price. Worker helping us was indifferent to us being here. Guess Im used to actual high end cupcakes from Chicago at Magnolia or Sprinkles. Better than Betty Crocker but dont fool yourself into calling this a premium quality cupcake (only the price is premium).

My daughter and I go here alot and the cupcakes are really good and we usually get the dogs treats to for our dog. The only complaint I have is the workers not very friendly. Everytime info in there I am rushed like I am bothering them.

Watch out if you order gender reveal cupcakes from them! They put the gender on the order form circle it and lay it right on the counter for all to see! The cashier even joked and said well I hope you knew what it was before now...

Great experience. I had to be out of town on my fathers 95th birthday and my mother was in the hospital, not able to make him a cake. The cupcakes arrived on time and they loved them. They talked about the gift cupcakes for weeks!

Ive been here twice now. And it has nothing to do with the quality, price, or customer service. I just try not to make it habit of eating cupcakes on a regular basis. Im old and have to keep that figure in check! But I stopped in there my first time and picked up four different cupcakes. They were delicious. And despite all the frosting on top, (it was like a cupcake mountain) it wasnt overpoweringly sweet. I normally can only tolerate a small amount of frosting.I went in there again to pick up two cupcakes last Tuesday. I only saw one person working, so I waited while she assisted the two girls in the store, who ended up not buying anything. At which point, she was very professional. I was trying to decide on what kind for a second cupcake, and when I listed the two I was deciding between, she kindly offered up a suggestion. At which point I laughed because I caught on to the words she was using to describe the food, as descriptions told to her. When I questioned her, she admitted she tries not to eat a lot of cupcakes. Must be tough working there! The conversation was done in good humor, and she provided feedback based on customer reviews. She did excellent. And the cupcake she chose, a simple vanilla, was delicious as well. And despite sooooo much frosting it tipped over in the box, it still wasnt overly sweet.I know Ill be back when I budget in that sugar and calories into my diet.

I did an order from out of state, all on-line. The order was delivered same day and I received a personal phone call saying that they had just dropped off the order. My son said the cookies were delicious! When you order out of state and youre not familiar with the company its always hard to know if youre getting what youre paying for, in this case I did, and received excellent customer service by the phone call.

We ordered 12 large cookies and they wouldnt give me punches for the cookies even though they cost more than the basic cookies that do get punches. We also ordered cupcakes but they wouldnt let us choose the flavor of the cake. They wouldnt customize or decorate anything how I wanted.The front staff knows absolutely nothing... Every question I asked the girls had to run back to ask someone in the back. This has happened every time Ive gone in.I asked for my cupcakes to be individually packaged and they werent and when I asked for the individual containers they wanted to charge me for them. They nickel and dime you. Ive ordered several large orders in the last 10 months for parties but my husband and I have decided we are never going back.

I am so excited to see the finished product.After I finished the call I realized that MY daughter was in her community theatre stage debut on Thursday so I called back to see IF Laura had any ideas for American Idiot-Green Day themed cookie delivery. WOW! She sure did. I just need to say that Laura was FANTASTIC. She was the brightest spot in my day. Perhaps my week or month. If your decorators are as talented as she IS and says they are, you have a gold mine working for you. Seriously, this young woman, Laura, was unbelievable and delightful every step of the way. I have no doubt that my recipients will be tickled to receive their cookie bouquets.
