Went today with cash in hand. Guy refused to start up the bike for me. I told him I wanted to hear how it sounded, he tells me it will make me wet. That was inappropriate. He also refused to let me sit on the bike. Said he thought I didnt look strong enough to hold it up. I told him I would just leave and he shouted out that I didnt look like I could afford the car next to the bike when I drop the bike. I left feeling he doesnt sell Bikes to women because he feels we are weak. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially women.

I had Automania sell my restored 1960 VW bus. They ended up selling it for far more than I had thought and were very transparent about the whole process. They took care of everything: brokering, payments, shipping etc. Super easy process for selling a high value vehicle and I didnt have to worry about being scammed. I didnt have to do any work! Shady shop- be aware. Bought a vehicle from them, before driving off the lot one of the guys said the catalytic converter could go as soon as you drive it away but its still a great vehicle. In my head I knew that there was truth in his statement, but still got it for a decent price. I wasnt surprised when the check engine light went on about a week later and when I had the codes scanned, what do you know-the catalytic converter was under-performing. I still have a great vehicle otherwise, but these guys should do better. In the age of Google and Yelp, dont pull sleazy moves like turn the check engine light off and then admit it to their customers!

So I bought a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am C/E from Automania back in Sept 2018 . I have never written a review before but I am starting to base my purchase decisions on reviews more & more so I finally signed up for a Goggle account . This car was advertised online, I live in Alberta Canada so everything was done by pictures and verbal communication, I’ve done this before & it can be a extremely frustrating experience. I can honestly say that this was a pleasant experience because for me the two things I need to make my decision is communication & HIGH QUALITY PICTURES of the good & the bad (very good communication & pictures). So I called Automania to discuss, Ted was first to answer he said there’s a little cosmetic damage underneath so some good pictures while car was on hoist were sent . Called back Paul answered this time and he mentioned the same issue so I do appreciate the honesty from them both . Talked with Ted many times on the phone always pleasant & quick to call back . So my wife & I made the 1100 mile trip to pick up the car, very nice drive, spent a couple of days in Grants Pass ( beautiful little city) . Met Ted & Paul at the shop nice good old blue jean guys . I am very picky with my cars, this car was all that I expected. So thanks Ted & Paul also give my thanks to the previous owner & let her know that the car has a nice warm easy life in Canada again . Ted and Paul were both great when I came down to buy a bike. Paul - knowing I was going to take a trip - mounted the soft luggage for the first time before I even showed up. And when I had an issue with the older battery a couple days later Ted offered to come pick me up. In my experiences with them both then and since, they do all they can to ensure that both buyers and sellers are treated well and fairly. Its a bonus that they are knowledgeable and professional too. I cant recommend Automania enough. If you find a bike you like, ask all the questions you need to, and if all is good dont hesitate to drive or fly in and ride home.

Ted was great to work with. Put a deposit down to hold the bike I wanted, drove down a few days later and after about 30 minutes I was ready to leave. Quick and easy and fun. Was I bought the bike and glad I met Ted.

I have sold multiple vehicles through Automania and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

About three weeks ago. I put a significant deposit down, (thousands) on a 15k vintage superbike. Terms were 30 days to pay balance.About 2 weeks in to the 30 days, life threw me a curve. I Contacted Ted and Paul.They tried to get me an additional 90 days....which did not work for the consignor. When that was not going to happen, they processed a refund of my complete deposit the next day.There was no trying to sell me something cheaper, there was no guilting me into anything or any hesitation in making things right by me.I have aquired about 30 bikes from private parties and businesses over the past few years.
