Unfortunately, this great computer repair business is now closed, storefront is empty. Really, really sad to see them go.

They will get it right - and they will try very hard to avoid over charging you. I have been down there for various fixes to family computers. They are fast, professional, and courteous. They have only screwed up twice in the last 5 years and they fixed it at their own cost and in a rushed fashion both times - what more can you ask for?

I have worked in the computer industry for 35+ years and have had occasion to have repairs done at Dick Webster computer for several years since. Mr. Webster Sr. was the go to repair shop. I have through the years dealt with almost every computer shop in Grants Pass. Many are unreliability and at best risky. I have found the Dick Webster Computing to be the best and most ethical in Grants Pass. They offer the best in service with in-depth Techs and a very fairly priced repair service. My outcomes with Dick Webster Computers has always been prompt and expert. I would recommend this computer store to anyone needing real expert computer repairs. I rate them FIVE Stars out of five.

Greg, the tech I worked with, was very helpful and professional...clearly more about service than money. Did a thorough assessment of my laptop problems, and made recommendations that he told me how to accomplish on my own if I wished (because I explained I have experience working with computer software/hardware issues)...but he also gave me quote in case I wanted him to do the work. This place sells same stuff on eBay for 4 times the price. They prey on the podunk people in the grants pass area. They have a rude lady at the counter with a real attitude unless they smell money and you are rich.They worked on two of my computers and cost me over $130 and the computers are still not working.I believe they will also turn you in for pirated software if they can.I say stay away from this place preying on the elderly rich folks.I believe they or their friends have written most or all of these positive reviews, what a scam.Luke

The screen on my Windows PC suddenly went blank yesterday evening. I thought there was a problem with the PC. Did a web search and Dick Francis Computers came up with good reviews. Rang them this morning (July 21st, 2015) and was told that they were pretty busy but to come on in.When I arrived at the store, not only was my PC looked at without delay but it was rapidly discovered that the video cable was faulty and there was nothing wrong with the PC. Not only did they clean out the very dusty interior of the PC but they sold me a new cable - all for the price of the new cable only!Great service and they clearly love their customers - even British ones! ;-)

Me and my dad were looking for a power supply and they didnt let us leave unhappy. The people there were nice, and someone just got a 500 watt out of there computer so we were happy. Thats the place im going from now on.

This firm is exceptional and functions as a shining example of how computer repair should take place. Front desk staff were honest, tremendously friendly, and immediately placed the customers best interest first by preforming a computer pre-screening to investigate for any quick fixes before charging the customer for a more invasive repair. After the free pre-screening, if no issues can be easily corrected, they clearly state their starting rate, and the likely time frame that the repair will take place within. The staff are easy to communicate with and go above and beyond to answer general computer questions be it related or not related to your repair. It is clear that they make customer satisfaction their highest priority while offering superior service at reasonable prices.

We took my husbands computer in there and they fixed it quickly and completely. I was impressed with the friendly service from both the owner and the workers. The owner of the shop even did the final check to be sure his name goes out with a good repair job. Excellent business imo.

I have brought my desk top to them twice now. The prices are totally fair, the service was great and was confident that my pc was again functioning properly. When I got it home. I wont go anywhere else

Very disappointed with the work they did, looking for another computer person to get my problem fixed. My computer ran fine till they did a simple password removal, now I cant even surf the net. And of course they blamed everyone else for its problems and tried to get me to do a tune up at almost $100. beware

I only picked Poor-Fair above because there was no lower rating! My dictation system computer would not wake up. I took it to Dick Webster Computers, not knowing anyone in the industry to check with about where to take it. Rich said it was an old system (2000) and it would be hard to find what was needed. I called every couple of days to see where things were at. I could tell they did not appreciate my persistence, but it is my livelihood on the line here and I didnt know them from Adam. After TWO WEEKS, they called (just after I left town for 4 days) and left a message that is was ready to be picked up. I called to pick up the computer when I returned but there was only an answering machine that said they had experienced water damage and would be closed for a few days. I waited and called again when they were supposed to be open, but they werent. It was the same answering machine that stated they would get the messages and return calls. I never received a return phone call, ever! Well I called everyday that week with no success of getting through to them and actually the answering machine stopped answering. No communication at all. The first time I drove by after the water damage message, I saw Fed Ex and USP notes on the door so I left a note of my own in the door as to the urgency I needed to hear from them, but to no avail. I stopped by a couple more times to find updated notes on the door stating they would be down for several more days. Then, finally the day they were supposed to truly be available, I sat at the front door and waited. No one showed by 9:00 a.m. but I waited and eventually I saw lights go on and someone moving around inside. I knocked on the door and the young lady came around the building and told me all the issues they had and was waiting for the boss (Rich) to come in and unlock the shed where all the computers had been stored for safe keeping. I never saw Rich but another young man came out and brought me my computer and said that the boss said it was done. I asked if it was working properly and he said yes. There was no change for my four weeks of excruciatingly painful waiting for my computer repair, which I thought was an amazing gesture. Unbeknownst to me, the computer was not fixed! I got it home and hooked it up, but the software would not run that was the very reason I took it in for repair. Now I know why he didnt charge me, because he DIDNT FIX ANYTHING! I am beyond disappointed with this company, its staff, and their lack of communication. Due to this four-week storage of my computer at their shop, I lost a large account. Dick Webster Computers is NOT the place to take a computer to be repaired.My computer is now being cared for by All-Tech and they are reasonably priced, know what they are doing, and know how to communicate. I will be sticking with these guys from now on. You should too!

This is the place to go. They know what theyre doing for sure, and are very reasonable. I thought my pc was a goner and was pleasantly surprised with their honestly and knowledge. Look no further!!

Picking a business to help you with your needs and trusting them can be tricky some times. I have a drone that cost me a pretty penny and was worried about how a business might handle such expensive equipment. Rich (the owner) was very reassuring and swept away any worries I had. Their entire staff is friendly, professional and helped me in a timely manner. Rich went above and beyond when I gave him instructions on how to wire new motors (incorrectly) on my drone. He took the extra time and quickly found the solution, now my drone soars in the air again! I would recommend them to anyone!

The absolute worst experience Ive ever had with ANY business, computer repair or otherwise. They are incredibly unprofessional and do not have legitimate or trustworthy computer skills. They will claim to fix your computer and when it still doesnt work they will offer to buy it for a RIDICULOUS price. I wish I would have asked around first as Ive now heard several similar stories too late. $300+ down the drain and an unfixed computer. Good luck!

I have relied on Websters computers for close to eight years and never had problems with anything I at times have had delays but I also understand the difficulties they deal with customers o I have learned patience with them and they have appreciated my patience. I like them for their knowledge and confidence with their work and experience.

Took them a week to tell if my computer could be repaired then tryed to take my computer for the 25.00s for parts. Because they said i owed them for tell me that it could not work, I already know that. Would not use this place ever again.
