Most helpful, courteous, on time, well done and fair priced, was my experience with ODCDFW! I was having garage door problems and gave them a call and I was guided through self-help steps (AT NO CHARGE), but was advised that an on site visit might be needed. Turns out I did require a technician to come out, which happened within a couple hours of my call, and a most professional fix it was. Highly Recommend!

Have an overhead door legacy 850. Called and spoke to Ed about a remote for it. He was very friendly and nice. I drove in, talked to Ed, and purchased the remote for~$50. Ed stated programming consisted of pushing the program button on the opener once and then the remote button multiple times until it opened.After going home, that didnt work. I downloaded/ read the manual, and now know you have to press and hold the program button for 2 seconds until the Blue LED has a long flash and the purple LED quickly flashes twice. Then go >5 get away from opener and very slowly depress the remote open button (twice). It confirms program and opens on third press.The remote costs 28$ on Amazon with one day delivery, and I would have been fine with paying almost double that if I had been provided some correct instructions.One star due to selling product double market price and providing incorrect instructions.

Outstanding service! Ryan the technician was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He solved our garage door issue quickly and walked me through what needed to be done. He also let me know what to expect in the future as the opener and the door age. I highly recommend them and Ryan is outstanding.

We had a very damaged garage door on the home we just bought in Dallas. We worked with Ryan, he was extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable! Donna at the front desk was on top of it too! We converted the computer room back into a garage when we bought our home 2015. Ryan reinstalled rails and the motor to allow us to operate the door properly. He has been here twice for maintenance since then for misc issues. Both times the issues were minor and the fees were minor and extremely reasonable. I would only call them if my door needs attention. Top notch customer service!!

Our 10 year old garage door opener stopped working and we had no clue why. I called Overhead Door Company of DFW expecting to purchase a new unit. When I called, my first contact was wonderful. She was patient and made me fill at ease by offering me options of repair or new purchase which was my choice. She gave me estimates of different repairs and a new purchase (just in case) which helped with the uncertainty of cost. The prices that were given were extremely fair and much less than I expected. She also set up an appointment for the next day, first thing in the morning. This was great! The following day, Ryan ( the technician) was on time and his level of customer service was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the workings of my unit and what I needed to do to keep it going for years to come. At first, I wanted to buy a new unit and Ryan explained to me what the problem was and it was a quick inexpensive repair. He could have agreed with me and taken our money but he didnt. He was upfront and honest and you dont see that nowadays. This has been a pleasant experience for me and I will be calling them again for all future repairs or replacements.

Ryan very knowledgeable and fixed my issue. Found another minor issue that if not corrected would have become a major problem. Very satisfied and price is very reasonable.

Highly recommend this place. Spring on my garage door broke and called several company to get a quote. Two other company wanted double what Overhead Door quoted me. Overhead door came whenthey say they would and replaced the spring. Definitely will use themagain.
