I tried to call to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning as I have had a terrible sore throat for weeks. The lady on the phone told me that they had not received the faxed referral from my doctor and that she would call me when they received it. I said “are you sure? The fax was sent on Thursday” and she said “like I said we will call you.” And then hangs up immediately. She didn’t talk it out with me or tell me to call my doctor and double check. She just didn’t want to deal with it. I have never seen a doctors office so unprofessional and so unwelcoming.

All they wanted to do is sell hearing aids. The doctor saw me about 3 minutes. I made the appointment for balance problems. This was never addressed.

Dr. Janicki is highly skilled and he is a true professional that really cares about his patients. I am lucky to have him as my ENT doctor. The staff always goes the extra mile to help get me on the schedule quickly if I have any ear issues. And the wait to see the the doctor is short. My thanks to everyone at Texas Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists!

I made an appointment with the Grapevine office and the first thing I asked when I called was if my insurance was accepted there. I was told it was so I made an appointment. Well guess what, it wasn’t! Nothing was said to me when I came to the appointment; I didn’t find out until I received a large bill in the mail about a month after my appointment (during which the ENT could not help me with my ear issue). I usually always double check on my insurance website to make sure the doctor I am seeing is In-Network, but I was miserable and wanted to get help quickly so I took their word for it when they told me they accepted my insurance. So I paid a lot of money for no help!

I have a hearing aid for my right ear. This team has been so helpful with learning to use the hearing aid and maintaining it. We have regular appointments to review any issues and check the device for any replacement parts needed. Very happy with Dr. Morgan and all the services she provides.

I recently had a surgical procedure by Dr. Ponder. The entire experience was exceptional! He is very professional, knowledgeable and patient! He took time to address all of my questions and concerns....just the kind of bedside manners that you want in a doctor.....From the consultation to my follow up after my surgery, Dr. Ponder as well as his staff were absolutely amazing! Always felt that I was in great hands! Thanks so much Dr. Ponder and staff for everything!

I have been to the Grapevine location twice- with two very different experiences. I saw Dr. Janicki in August and he spent roughly 10minutes with me and was abrupt and condescending. My ear issue had not resolved, so I called in and requested to see another provider and they set an appointment with Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee is AMAZING, she is thorough and thoughtful. If your looking for someone that will listen to your concerns Dr. Lee is your doctor.

Mo, receptionist in Bedford, gave my hearing aids a much needed tune up and also scheduled an appt with Dr Lee the same day. After that visit I saw Dr Morgan who adjusted my hearing aids to perfection! All this was accomplished in 2 hours between both offices!! I am a very happy customer!!

Dr. Janicki is awesome. His staff, not so much. I had an appointment scheduled for this afternoon with the audiologist and then Dr. Janicki. Sadly, I am told, the audiologists father passed away yesterday. Unfortunately, no one on the staff was considerate enough to call or text me and let me know my appointments needed to be rescheduled. I was informed, when I arrived timely for my appointments today, that they had been cancelled and rescheduled on Monday and someone should have called me. No one called me. Nor was Monday available for me. No apology, nothing. Not only a big disappointment, but also very frustrating.Update: I left Dr. Janickis reception room upset with the incompetence of the staff. Then, an hour later, I get a text confirming my 3:00 p.m. appointment that day. Someone finally realized the error, and sent a reminder text about an appointment on Monday that I didnt make, cant fit into my schedule, and told the receptionist wouldnt work. I also got an email reminder today. Is this staff incapable of listening to patients?

Doctor was great. Front desk and doctor’s MA are completely incompetent for patient’s needs. Needed a form filled out for my husband, let them know it was urgent, everyday I would call and they (front desk) would say “oh it’s on his desk...the MA will call back”. Well, his MA never called back and that missing form caused quite an issue. They never said, “make another appointment” never said “doctor needs more time” N O T H I N G. So the agency who needed that form for my husband couldn’t do anything to help us since we had NO response from this doctor’s office. And here we are...over a week later...I’ve yet to receive a call from them! Like I said, the doctor was wonderful. Excellent care from him and he’s understanding but his staff is what will drive patients away. They completely lack customer service and compassion for patients’ needs.

I made my appointment based off of reviews, so, I felt it was important that I post my experience. My appointment was scheduled for 2:00 PM with Dr, Ponder. I have tinnitus that is getting worse and moves from ear to ear. I arrived promptly 15 minutes early as I was instructed and had the paperwork pre-filled. I was quickly taken back for a hearing test and back out to the lobby by 2:00. I sat in the lobby until 2:55 before being taken to a room. The nurse took my blood pressure and said so you have ringing in your ears? The doctor will be in soon. At 3:10 Dr. Ponder came in, introduced himself and said looks like you have hereditary hearing loss, but its not bad enough for hearing devices yet. The ringing in your ears, well, there is no magic pill. Its like a man with an itch on his finger, but he doesnt have a finger, he just thinks he does. I said - there is nothing I can do ? Him - No, well, maybe download white noise from iTunes and see if that helps. Good news - you dont have a brain tumor. First, Ive waited over an hour to see a doctor that basically told me I just THINK I have an issue. Excuse me? Then said, Oh, let me check your ears, looked up my nose and my throat. I will recheck you in one year unless you have vertigo or your off balance. First, wouldnt you ask that question before you just assume? I said, I do have dizziness several times a year and I typically see my FP . He turned, opened the door and said, OK, check out is to the left and walked out. He spent a total of 3 minutes with me. I realize doctors are busy, I am in the healthcare field, however, the lack of interest and lack of professionalism was profound. I was not looking for a magic pill Dr. Ponder, I was looking for a solution or suggestions to help manage what I am experiencing. After all, your website clearly states that you offer Tinnitus Management. Perhaps you should take that off your site.

My experience was quick and easy. I went to the Grapevine location which is actually inside Baylor hospital offices. Saying that since that was the only thing I had trouble with. My gps apps had me going to side street or on the wrong side. Well for the actual visit I didn’t need much done. Took a hearing test then spoke with the doctor shortly after.

I have visited several ENT doctors in the past and have never found an organization that took patient care with so much care and priority. Dr. Morgan goes above and beyond to take of my needs. I cant imagine going to another hearing specialist after being treated by Texas Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist. You will be completely satisfied with you care with Dr. Morgan.

I have been going to Texas ENT for more than a decade and Dr. Nikki Morgan - or whomever has been her backup when she was out of the office - has been there every time I needed anything for my hearing, whether it has been a regular check-up, a repair or replacement of a hearing aid (even at inconvenient times like the day before a holiday), or a request for an upgrade to newer technology. Texas ENT has consistently provided 5 star treatment to me.My latest experience is truly incredible. Dr. Morgan introduced me to the latest technology from ReSound, which partners with Apple to bring flawless bluetooth reception with iPhones and TVs. Compared to earlier technologies, the reception I have now in ordinary environments is crystal clear. I can customize my reception to normal residential/office, restaurant, auto & outside environments. With the GPS capabilities of the ReSound app on my iPhone, I can even program customized adjustments to automatically kick in when I arrive at places Ive been before. This new technology has improved not only my quality of life, but also that of my family.I recommend Texas ENT without reservation!

Had a terrific appt with Dr Ponder. Normally would recommend this practice, but for one increasingly common irritation. Like more and more doctors, they strongly try to steer their pattients to enroll for an account thru their patient portal. Unfortunately, I have a chronic illness that requires me to regularly see a primary care physician, a peridontal surgeon, a dermatologist, an opthamologist, a gastroenterologist, a rheumatologist, and now yet another specialist. This year Ive been asked by each to open a web portal acct on each of their websites so its easier for them to book appointments and get communiques to me. Thats 7 different web accts with 7 sets of user names, passwords, and security questions. Its simply become too much for this senior to keep track of. Today I recd an email from TX ENT telling me I have a msg on the patient portal, but Im still unable to sign in to my account, even after 25 min of trying. As yet, I dont know if my tests produced something of concern, or they just want to wish me seasons greetings.....This afternoon Im calling them to ask what it is theyre trying to tell me. Ill also ask to have my patient record changed to reflect my unwillingness to communicate with them thru some website instead of directly by phone with a real person. Ill follow this with calls to each of my other docs with the same request. Hopefully well be able to once again work together that way without me having to find any replacements.

This network of offices are nice with day to day matters, but quite unprofessional when they get uncomfortable. They cancelled my surgery without a plan to reschedule. I asked if another doctor could do the surgery the week it was originally scheduled. I was told we can find out, but the assistant didnt seem to know what was going on. I asked to speak to the office mgr to get an answer. I was upset by the lack of planning after I had paid for family to fly in from out of town for my surgery. The office mgr took my call and immediately laughed at me on the phone because I was upset. I got more upset at that point because of her flippant attitude. She accused me of yelling and cussing at the staff. I was horrified since mt conversations didnt happen that way. Then she hung up on me with no resolution. I called back and asked to speak to the Director. The Administrator called me back the following day and instead of taking my complaint about the staff, he told me they will not be doing my surgery at all and I shoild look elsewhere. The entire ordeal was and still in very upsetting. I am still shocked a patient would be treated this way. No aplogy, no explanation, no one actually listened to the customer throuout the whole process. And to this day, my Doctor, Dr. Noel, has not attempted to contact me to discuss the matter.
