The store is very well organized and clean overall. No products we looked at seemed to be too old or worn to be sold again. We purchased a wipe warmer which our baby loves and the price was 1/6 of the cost of a new one.
I love it here sell your old kid stuff and get newer kid stuff. Omg I love it.
Ive had hit or miss experiences here. Sometimes there are good finds and sometimes most of the clothes look a bit worn. I wish there were more sizes for bigger kids, but I understand these are the limitations of consignment. When consigning my own childrens clothes Ive left confused a few times because theyve taken items that I considered a bit faded and frayed, but rejected other items that have only been worn once or twice for being too worn. Im guessing thats an issue of buyers having a better idea of their customers demands then I do. The thing that bothers me most about Kid to Kid is the condition they return the clothes they dont accept. I make sure everything is clean and nicely presented when I bring it in and they wad it up and throw it back into the box when they return it. I understand this somewhat when its a large box of baby items- those things are hard to fold and the staff is probably busy. But recently I brought in several Christmas dresses, on hangers and one still in a dry cleaning bag. They didnt take the dresses because they were too worn (there were no stains or marks and had only been worn/cleaned once or twice). Whatever their reasons for not taking them (however confusing they are to me), thats fine. I DO have a problem with them crumpling up and stuffing dry cleaned velvet and taffeta dresses in a garbage bag to return them to me and somehow stuffing the hangers in a separate bag. The dresses dont belong to Kid to Kid until they purchase them from me and in the meantime I dont want my items treated like that; they may still be useful to someone. Theres really no cause; Ive inspected dresses on the hanger in departments stores and managed to keep them neat and on the hanger even if I choose not to buy them. The same should be said for Kid to Kid. There are other local childrens consignment stores in the area I think Ill move on to.In Response: Ive consigned with Kid to Kid half a dozen times and my items have never been laid back somewhat flat in the box, always tossed in/crumpled up. Laid somewhat flat would be fine.
Dropped off a bassinet that my daughter used twice, a mickey mouse rocker (barely used) both included batteries and looked good as new. A box of newborn clothes and shoes and all i made was a mere $30.. out of all of that. I just accepted it because it was my first time selling merchandise to this business. None of the items had any spots on them so I am confused as to why I received such little profit...To add, last week I bought an infant seat for $25 with spots and all. I had to wash it before she sat in it. I thought we could only bring in items that were spotless?Never again.
This place was so welcoming and inviting! The clothes are quality for cheap and so is the furniture. I even had a lady help us put the stroller down and the car seat in the car. They are so kind! 10/10 experience
Super clean! Staff is great! Clothes selection is always nice. Prices are incredible.
I just returned home from selling items to this store. They didnt take much, which surprised me because most of it was in good shape, many name brands and they hardly have any larger sizes like 12-14. As I was taking the no thank yous out of one of the bins to bag it for GoodWill, I realized that they hadnt even looked at 3/4 of it. I know this because after the tossed in layer of what they looked though, the clothes were exactly as I had packed them. WTH? There were some nice hoodies, Hannah Andersson dresses and even an Untucked shirt in there. Maybe they are phasing out the larger sizes? If so, they could say that on their website so I dont bother making the 45 min trip to Drexel Hill. I moved here from State College where the Kid to Kid is FABULOUS! Ill be hanging on to the clothes until we visit SC from now on. I am very disappointed.
Took my first visit there yesterday! Got a bunch of items that were on my baby registry for cheap and in great condition!! And some brand new baby clothes!! The lady was very nice and let us know about coupons and kid to kid cash and a free book a month which i think is amazing!! Everything seemed reasonably priced and in good condition. I will definitely be returning. Me and my sister found some very good deals and were very excited! Can’t wait for my next visit!
If you’re going to discuss people not wearing masks as if you think you know why everyone doesn’t wear a mask- please don’t do it in front of someone who isn’t wearing a mask.I hate people. Rude. You’re lucky I didn’t leave my whole order.
A disappointing experience and a waste of time. Very few items in larger sizes and many were womans. Items on rack were not very appealing. They looked like thrift store cast offs. I brought in 50 sarefully scrutinized pieces of clothing. They accepted 26 items including 2 pairs of girls timberline boots i got $23.00! Most items priced for sale at 7.50 -9.99 The rest of my items apparently were too worn. I rechecked the refused items and found only one unacceptable. The workers were also unfriendly and slow and let me stand in the wrong isle for20 min. They just ignored me.
Every change of season I bring in my childs outgrown gently used name brand items for a store credit. I then use the store credit to buy the next season.
Great customer service. Very helpful and decent prices. I will be back.
Def a great place to trade in and get new items for your baby toddler or child
I only went here once but I was able to find nice dresses for my daughters at very good prices and in excellent condition. I will be back to buy for the next baby :) only wish the store was bigger, that would be even better.
Place is clean and organized.... friendly workers.
Have just about everything a baby would need, at a reasonable price.
Over priced. I saw two of the same dresses but one was more expensive than the other. Same size and everything. Makes no sense. The workers were rude and slow. They all saw me standing to check out and ignored me. I will never go back
I just love this place. I was looking for premie clothes and they had it.
After reading the reviews I was hesitant to visit. I am so glad I did! The variety and amount of clothing is better than any other kids consignment Ive been to. I was shocked by the excellent selection of strollers, car seats and travel cribs. It was extremely clean and well organized. The toy section was less organized, but exactly what I would expect. The prices were reasonable for such good quality clothing, I didnt pay more than $4 for any item. A nice plus is that you receive a free book every month. The staff was pleasant and helpful even with a very busy store. The store was clearly marked for social distancing. Ill be back soon.
I sell and buy here often and would highly recommend. Some minor inconsistencies in what different staff take: Ive seen things i tried to sell but was denied show up for sale in way worse condition, something they wont take one visit i bring back and a different staff member takes, etc. They do seem under staffed lately and things take longer, but Im sure that is due to limited staff coming out of a year of COVID regulations. They used to have an issue with the staff loudly talking about other staff members under performance or annoyances which i always found to be a little unprofessional but with turn over i havent seen that in a while.
Great place 👌. Wish they had more to chose from in big kid sizes.
Love kid to kid! They have great clothes and cheap. A lot of the clothes look brand new even though they are slightly used clothes.
Great deals! They are always good to me when I sell.
Fast and friendly staff, great brands in great condition for a fraction of the cost. Love it!
Id give them 0 stars if I could.
Stop in there yesterday afternoon, told them that I wanted to sell my clothes to them. Now here the messed up part. These clothes that I sold to them was brand new with the tags still on them. Now at the stores that I had purchase them from, wasnt cheap, these clothes was for a toddler, the lady had appraised them to only give me $23, but this other lady used stuff and they gave her $425 for it. I asked the lady why am I only getting $23 for brand new clothes thats never been worn or touched, the lady than tells me, that Im only getting $23 because Im receiving 20% of what they gonna sell them for. So u telling me that used clothes is worth more than brand new clothes, FOH.
I always find something I can use.
Love this store amazing prices great products amazing staff all around great I love it it. Good for kids up to size 12. Amazing for new moma. Must see.
Everyone is so friendly here
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! During this health crisis were in, it is not safe to shop here. Their employees have always been rude and unfriendly but now their blatant lack of respect and appreciation for their customers is more apparent than ever. Their used clothes and toys are not only overpriced but dirty and soiled (a medium for bacteria and viruses). They are obviously not following the proper CDC guidelines for the health and safety of their customers. This place should be shut down!
Is a great place to shop for your little ones.
Great deals and quality clothing and baby products
I’ve bought some cute things here for cheap prices, but I wouldn’t sell here... the low amount of $ they give just isn’t worth it. One of the employees (wish I knew her name) is so unfriendly, barely talks, and never smiles... even after thanking her she says nothing. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but I’ve had multiple interactions with her so that’s just how she is unfortunately. Also, I overheard two of the employees complaining about a child and talking rudely about a parent shopping there. I think they should be more conscientious about what they say in front of shoppers and also be more understanding considering they work at a store for children. So just working on there customer service. They do get different items pretty frequently so you can see new things often there, which is good.
Great prices, good quality clothes, toys books & baby equipment
I’ve been in this store a couple of times and each time has been unfavorable. The last time took the cake. I brought my 2 and 1 year old into the store with me. The employee who took my clothes seemed to have a nasty disposition. My 2 year old son was playing nicely but then went running around the store. I went after him while having my 1 year old strapped to my chest. While retrieving my son I overheard an employee say something rude about my son’s behavior. While I understand my 2 year old was being rambunctious, (As 2 year olds tend to be) I did not expect that employees who elected to work in a kids store would ever be so rude and insensitive. I immediately put the items back that I was going to buy and left the store. If the owner is reading this I would appreciate if your employees would receive some training in customer service and diversity sensitivity! You have no idea the circumstances around any child’s behavior that may enter your store.
Oh man, the list could go and on of things wrong with this store. They rip you off when they buy items. They are supposed to offer you 25% of what they will sell the item for. Well, they don’t! They offer you LESS than that. I know because I sold them a very distinct pair of sneakers and asked how much they offered me for them. They told me $2 so they can sell it for $8. Low and behold I went in there a few weeks later and they were selling them for $10. I didnt say anything and looking back I wish I did. If they rip you off on every item, then I have lost a lot of money with them. They have refused to buy so many of my items for bogus reasons too. Yet if you look on the racks, I promise you won’t have to search hard before you find clothes with rips, stains, holes, or missing buttons. The kids toilets for sale are DIRTY. I mean still have pee on them from the previous owner. Their own bathroom isn’t much cleaner. They are also among the rudest sales associates I have come across. Only one person is helpful there and I think she’s the manager (red headed lady). She’s always pleasant and works with you, but the others are the complete opposite. They never help anyone with anything ever. They will watch you struggle to open the door with your hands full. They eat food behind the desk while sorting through your belongings to see what they’ll buy from you. And then just throw everything in a basket without even attempting to give it back the way they found it. My friend referred me to this place several years ago and I kept dealing with these people thinking it’s the only place nearby to consign kids clothes. A quick Google search proved me wrong so I no longer have to step foot in this dirty store.
Amazing! So many great things that are in new condition at amazing prices! This is over an hour away for us bit were already planning another trip! Also the staff is amazing! We were lazing near the front register still trying to pry ourselves away from the deals and every single employee that passed checked on us in a very welcoming way not in the hurry up and buy or get out way. Love this place and already recommended!
Hands down the most honest and helpful staff around!! It was my first time selling items and everyone was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. I had a yard sale the weekend before and I got more money for my items at Kid to Kid.On a side note, I returned to the store because I thought I dropped something valuable from my purse. Dorrine and Laurie (owner and manager) spent over an hour with me looking through the videotape footage while the entire store was busy with customers. Needless to say the item was found and returned safely. Thank you ladies!!!
One of the best consignment shops I’ve ever been to. Everything is very clean. Great place to buy baby and toddler clothes and you can frequently get great buys on pack n plays, strollers etc.
I was nervous at first to come here from the reviews but ended up having a really amazing experience. Such helpful workers and very attentive. I got so many things for my daughter who will be arriving soon and am beyond satisfied with the price and quality of products!! I will definitely be coming back!! Also the workers I believed named Jaime and Molly extremely helpful, polite, and courteous!! Cant wait to come again! :)
Ive wanted to shop here for a while and finally did it and I was pleased with my finds I customize sneakers and shoes an was about to find 2 pairs of shoes. You find some clean sneakers and some that need to be washed. Over all nice used and new kids shop and they have the CUTEST lil hair bows a little pricey but very cute and different
Amazing place if you have kidsGood prices!!
I go into kid to kid sometimes multiple times a week to find excellent used condition clothes for my 4 kids. While I love the store and can typically find great things for my kids, I am considering going elsewhere. The one employee Kim is amazing and always so nice and helpful but there is another younger girl there I don’t know her name she is always rude. I feel like I am bothering her when I need to check out or sell my items. Today I made a purchase she comes up no hello how are you nothing just rung me up took my money dropped my bag on the counter and walked away. I said thank you and got no response.
I recently had a terrible experience in this store and will never be back. Most of the employees are rude have too much general hostility to be working around children. While struggling to shop in the store with my 3 children, I was harassed repeatedly. As soon I walked in the door I received dirty looks until an employee had the nerve to tell me due to Covid they discourage bringing so many children into the store. If I had the resources to hire a sitter every time I shopped in order to appease their militant restrictions, I certainly wouldnt attempt to rummage through this thrift store with their overpriced, used junk. Another employee proceeded to terrorize me and my children about the placement of the masks on their faces because the 6 year olds nose was exposed and my 3 year old pulled his down. The woman was so combative that she scared my child, we left abruptly, my children were in tears, and we will NEVER be back! BTW, we went down the street to Marshalls and found nicer, cheaper clothes for BRAND NEW.
Amazing place to purchase gently used items. They also purchase items from their customers but offer very low amounts. I enjoy shopping there for play sneakers which usually tend to be brand new and name brand for 10 bucks or less. You can score some amazing deals here
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! I have been a faithful shopper at Kid to Kid since my son was an infant. I have sold items and bought items -- I love their great selection of clothes (and my son loves their books and toys!). The sales associates are always super nice and helpful. Shop here if you want high-end brand clothing/items at a fraction of the price =).
Store is always well stocked with a good selection of styles and sizes. They are very particular about the clothes and shoes they purchase, so most of their inventory is in very good shape. With three growing kids, its nice to have a place where we can get cash or store credit for the clothes they grow out of. Kid to Kid has saved my family a lot of money over the years and were very happy customers.
Staff is very friendly...store is amazing...whether your donated selling or buying you will have a great experience
Nicely laid out store. No appointments needed to sell items. Great way to get cash for kids items.
The Staff is not friendly. Everyone was engrossed in their work and not the customers. I stood there for a few then the lady said Go down to the other end I get there and the other lady was on the computer and she never turned to cash me out. Then the lady comes down like she didnt want to ring on the register. Customer service is what will keep you in business.
I love Kid to Kid! Clean store, friendly employees, good prices, nice rewards program!
Great deals for kids clothes. You know theyre growing fast. Why spend a fortune? Excellent selection. Better prices.
Yesterday was my first time shopping at Kid to Kid not only for business but for my daughter who was having a total meltdown at check out! I want to thank Jan for being so kind and helpful and helping me waddle out to my car pregnant with a crying toddler to help with my purchases. Such a great experience and will be returning often!
Wasn’t the most pleased with my 1st experience. I had clothes that had tags on them that I was given $3 for. I realized I should take my name brands and 8 plus condition clothing to places where I feel I’ll get my monies worth. However, it’s a nice place with a big selection. Giving them a 2nd try today. Hope it goes better than that 1st.
Very awesome place to sell kuds clothes
Great store for used childrens clothing. Their recent renovation makes everything flow better and allowed them to fit in larger sizes. They now go up yo size 14!
K2K is definitely my go-to for all my kids clothes! People often comment on how well dressed my girls are, and 98% of the time, its from there. Also, its easy find savings there. Im signed up for emails, and text alerts on deals and sales, and you get frequent-buyer savings too! Weve also picked up plenty of toys, bikes, scooters, wagons, and even kid suitcases from them. I seriously love that place! My only warning to customers, is just be aware of the overwhelming fabric softener smell of the store. It smells really nice, its just very strong, which makes sense for a kids consignment store, but just be prepared. Also, the bathroom isnt wonderful at all, but at least they have one, I guess. Still a great place though!
I have bring gong for some years now and I have had good clothes for children that they didnt want to buy. The things in there are worn down dirty clothes and toys and they want you to pay almost what you can get them from in the store. I have sold things they didnt want to pay me for to folks going into the store because they are almost new and clean. Since I have been going there I brought a bounce chair, a new coat for my great grand daughter and a skirt. It once was a good place but not now..
I highly recommend shopping here for lightly worn or brand new items! This is a really great place for parents, grandparents daycare owners and anyone who loves making kids and parents smile!
Store had 4 women working not one acknowledged me for 15 minutes and then I was insulted and told my items smelled like smoke when I have nonsmoking home. I got 4$ for 3 big cardboard boxes of toys. I have used them for 6 years and referred many people but never again!!
Today I had the pleasure of going to this place today with my daughter it seems she left out with the clothes she tried to trade in. There is no thing l would like to say her experience was not the best and l feel there is a better way to turn someone down. The staff really needs to be more compassionate to mothers and their belongings. When she returned to the car she felt real defeated so l told her lets go to green drop they will accept your kids belongings because they will give those clothes to children that could use them so we headed to green drop they accepted the clothes with open arm. So going forward we will donate them to a charity that can use them no more selling them we will get better blessings to donate and your staff needs to really work on their customer service skills over phone and in petson.
Buying used items at decent prices is ideal. We have gone for very specific items and gotten great deals. As a buyer I’m thrilled.Selling experience has not been the best. After shlepping in boxes of neatly folded clothes that came from my kids closet, they go through and then ask if they can ‘donate’ what they don’t want to buy from you. However the 8-10 credit for 20 items makes no sense when I would rather just give it to friends instead. But I will return.
This place seems to have a lot of good used toys and clothes for reasonable prices. It will definitely be the only place I get toddler stuff until the kids slow on the grow.
I love their prices and selection. Clothes are in good shape and toys as well. Nice people.
Good selection. They buy back most items, though be sure to do a thorough cleaning before you take. Great prices.
Truly despicable people work here. I do NOT mask.
Very friendly, and affordable
Omg love this place! Traded all my winter things for new stuff! I wish they had more size 16 for my tall 11 yr old.
They have good prices and sales. I usually find what im looking for and more. The staff are friendly and are helpful.
We gets lots of clothes here. Variable selection but great prices especially on shoes and coats
Great for my 9 month old daughter. Very reasonable prices, i will always shop here first before I go to a mall/ department store. Found all of her Christmas presents for under 40$ ( the price of one toy at target). Juicy couture, Ralph Lauren, & more . Save money & buy or sell here wont be dissapointed. My only regret is I didnt know about them earlier, could have saved hundreds.
Overpriced for 2nd hand clothes but good enough to check out occasionally
Love this place. I trade my daughters clothed for other item or even money great store
I have been coming yo Kid to Kid for at least 4 years now, and Ive had nothing but good experiences. They have a good selection of gently used clothes and shoes, as well as toys, strollers and other baby items. They also buy clothes (I think the prices offered when selling to them are a little low, but you can also just get a store credit). And they always have sales going on!
Very well organized for a consignment shop. Excellent prices. Ive never sold here but from what Ive seen you dont get a lot for what you sell but its a cash payment not consignment.
Kids love going here to pick out affordable toys
Great selection, best place around for resold kids clothes.
Im single mom on a budget its one of my favorite store, I have a 4 year old son, because he out grow his clothes so fast I cannot afford to buy clothes so often so thats why I shop at kids to kids the price is very reasonable the clothes are clean and great brands. plus my son get to play while shop because theres a play area for the kids.
I love the bargains. Ive turned in clothes at least twice. You dont get back what you paid but I think for what they sale for its reasonable. Ive never had any problem with any of the clerks and have always had good service. I love that I can get almost ANY baby or toddler item you could think of here. Always my first stop when I dont want to pay retail.
Sad that my son is to big to fit the clothes offered but they came through with the sporting goods section..found a lacrosse helmet, gloves and stick for under 50 bucks! Great deal! Saved me a few hundred bucks!
I use to love this place. But lately the clothing sucks. They dont pay attention to what they are taking in. The shoes look old they should not sell stuff that looks old. I usually get great stuff from here! But they only give people 1 or 2 dollars for something and they want to charge 9-10 dollars for it. I think that is wrong! It is a good place for quick shop...
It’s times I don’t have much money to buy my daughter sweaters, sweat jackets or even dance items. I come here and rack up on the winter months. Great place!!!
My favorite of the kids coming consignment. Usually a lot to choose from. If youre bringing to sell, be sure things are seasonable!!
This will be the last time anyone in my family will shop there. My daughter and I were there today, we tried to buy a grace car seat base. We found a base with a car seat for 17.99. We realized the car seat would not fit in my daughters car which already had two car seats for her young ones. We were told we could not leave the car seat, had to take both pieces. Ok, understood. My daughter drove me home to Glenolden. I drove immediately back to store to get the marked car seat and base for 17.99. Now, the price was 39.99. I said something to the sales woman who waited on us. If the price was marked wrong that should not be my problem, I came back to get the item with the price I saw. I wasted time and gas. Its funny at the 17.99 price, she told us we were missing the seat that goes with it and could not sell it without it. So I come back to get it within an hour and price was over doubled. We wont be back ever.I also have always thought the prices were a bit high for a second hand shop.
It once was a hidden secret, but no more! Greatest idea created to save money and still look fashionable. When you sign up for their email you will get alerts to sales and save big the more you go. Everything from clothing to baby equipment to shoes and new Melissa & Doug toys!
I was simply looking up the store hours and somehow ended up reading reviews.... I live 40 mins away and I am now choosing to go further just to avoid going to this store.... the bad reviews definitely outweighed the good ones....
Very poor customer service, they wanted to give me pennies for brand new items. When I declined the offer the sales associate was very rude. Its better to sell ur stuff online or at a yard sale.
We were looking for a snow suit and sleepers for my granddaughter in 12 month size. We had luck finding all, plus a few other items and were happy with our trip.
Nice store good prices.I could have used a store like this 50 years ago. When my kids were growing up.
We love to shop here! great second hand store
I went in to sell something, and they did not have appointments today, I had my son and some bulky items. The young lady was so rude as she explained that they didnt have buying appointments today or the next several weekends... and walked off. She was so rude.
Great place to purchase not only kids clothing, but also toys and necessities for infants (like strollers, carriers, etc.). Ive gotten many nice pieces of clothing here that shes gotten many compliments on. This place is especially great because kids grow soo fast and the prices are extremely reasonable.
Hit or miss for boys whats new!! Drop could be aliitle detailed.
Large consignment shop with tons of shoes, clothing and equipment. Staff was pleasant. Busy place! Prices werent as low as I was expecting, but overall a pleasant experience!
Alot of nice gently used kids clothes for a good price
First off I would like to thank the VERY RUDE & SNOTTY Clerks at the front counter. Due to your extremely rude attitude and the refusal to even look at the clothing that I spent almost three days WASHING, ORGANIZING, PUTTING OUTFITS TOGETHER, & HANGING UP ON HANGERS, not to mention putting all in plastic totes, and lugging in the pack n play setting it up in the store, I put every single item on the App OFFER UP, and in two days made $237.00!...Every item that I wasted my time lugging in your snotty store, (which my mother and I USED TO ADORE) sold on the site. And let me explain one more thing. I understand your store has certain policies that you must abide by. I am a smoker, but not a heavy chain smoker, and I do not smoke in my home. So to be told that the items you REFUSED TO EVEN LOOK AT smell like smoke and drop the totes in the floor like they were garbage and needed to be quarantined was so utterly rude and embarrassing. There were so many items in there with tags still on them, beautiful dresses & coats. Boots & shoes never worn. Even though I left your store in tears & I will never step foot in there again, & neither will my mother who spends a very pretty penny in there, I wanted to extend my sincerest thanks because your rudeness definitely paid off ($big time) in my favor!...Its a second hand store, not Barneys New York!!!...While I understand your policies, I dont believe snotty & rude store clerks are one of them, but then again for your store I think it is a requirement. Thanks Kid to Kid!!!
Great prices, many options. HOWEVER if you goto sale, its not worth it. I took brand new clothes never worn they offered $4 #5pair of brand new pants. Another time 1 worker said they cant take it, the very next day another accepted my item, that i gave to a stranger to sale 4 me
Very disappointed!! They have horrible costumer service. Not to mention their prices arent much less than brand new items. Not worth the trip at all. I will definitely not go back again!
Sometimes a good selection of used items for the right price. But almost not worth it because of the staffs lack of customer service. Every year they deceitfully abuse the term back bounce cash... putting so many restrictions on them, that it is now the 2nd year in a row I will not be able to use them. When approached about how narrow-minded their stores concept is on these so-called-cash rewards, they were not helpful in any way. In this day, when even the discount retailers have welcoming customer policies on coupons, returns, or handling problems... this store really sticks out as cheap and ungrateful for their customers that provide good business. Unfortunately, this is also just one area of bad customer service Ive experienced there. The local pop-up consignment sales are the place to go to sell and buy now. This place might still compete if they were down to earth/mom-pop friendly accommodating service..... So many of my local mom-groups discourage from using them to sell. You might as well donate to Goodwill or SA to get the write off, worth as much, and nicer people.
