Not only does this place have the most affordable oil changes, it has one of the nicest lobbies I have ever been in. The couches are comfy, the wifi and coffee are good, bathroom is decent, and it is pretty spacious. Most importantly, all of the auto work is honest and high quality.

I have brought my vehicles to Goodyear for service several times. A few months ago I brought my SUV in for routine maintenance work. When I drove away there was a loud noise coming from the front tires. Coincidence? Well - uh - yes... The SUV had a wheel bearing that started to go, and happened coincidentally at the time I happened to take it to Goodyear for maintenance work.Aside from that issue Ive never had any problems after theyve done work. The staff has always treated me well, their prices are competitive (surprisingly competitive). I purchased a full set of 4 tires - the prices were definitely competitive. Could I have bought them cheaper? Perhaps - but at a cost of not having Goodyear there for me if something goes wrong.I highly recommend Goodyear if youre looking for good work, at a good price.

This place is awesome, there is basically two living room style waiting rooms with coffee and waters and every time I come they remember me and make sure Im taken care of. My car is always fixed when I leave and I never felt like I waited too long or paid too much. Best service around

Went in last night for a new set of tires. Price was reasonable and work was done efficiently. Nice waiting area as well very comfortable.

I had a flat tire and need new tires all around anyway. So it was a perfect time to shop for them but I needed something fast and easy. This store was PERFECT! They have a very helpful clean professional staff. They presented options that met my needs and made those options very clear.

Ive been going here for years and never had an issue. They have helped me with getting tired plugging leaks and the occasional Ill change. I have no complaints. The two guy up front have been the same 2 guys since the place opened.

I went here a number of years with many different repairs and for the most part, I got what I thought were excellent repairs. I found out later that my timing belt was not installed correctly according to the next mechanic and then yet another mechanic said they installed the incorrect spark plugs. Who knows if other repairs were done incorrectly, but I wouldnt go back to find out. I am giving them 2 stars since they did give me good advice on tires and not all repairs were poor.

Highly recommend this Goodyear for service . They also have a body shop and a car wash. You get a free car wash with all your service and there prices are low and service has a nationwide warranty. Willie and John are great 👍🏼

How often can one say I know a place that will fix your car, and they are honest with prices? Rarely ever, most body shops will swindle the average driver to make a quick buck. Goodyear in Grayslake, Il is one of the best places to have a true honest experience when it comes to car maintenance. The staff is friendly (obviously), and they get straight to the point. If you choose to do your business at Goodyear, you will drive away satisfied, you will realize these employees treat every car as art, and they will do everything in their knowledge to fix your car and have it running as smoothly as the day you first got it. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service and work. I originally came in for an oil change a while back, but I returned because I was satisfied and I wanted to show my loyalty to the crew. Ask for Billy, this guy knows his stuff, and you will be satisfied, that is a guarantee.

Dont care about customers and try to squeeze every last penny out of you. At least this was my experience with one of the staff. Went in for tire installation and wanted them to check if they saw a bad hub assembly or tie rod when they had left front wheel off. After being told by initial tech it wouldnt be an issue to check, second tech wanted to charge me a $90 diagnostic fee. Pretty ridiculous considering it would only take a matter of seconds to check while car is on lift. Went over to Waukegan Tire, who was not only happy to do it but also fixed the issue free of charge.

My last two times I’ve been here I’ve had problems with my car the same day. First I was there for an oil change and later on that day my car died. Under the hood, there was a fresh patch of lube plopped on top of the connector to my battery that wasn’t there before and the nut was gone. The second and my LAST visit was today. To start off right after I parked my car in front where I always do, there were comments about how “they didn’t know why my car was there or why I was parked that way.” Not knowing I was sitting right there and I could clearly hear them they also claimed they couldn’t fix my headlight when it was one bulb that needed to be fixed. Once I got home i had someone look at it at all that needed to be done was a single wire to be connected. They tried quoting me $370 for the piece. It was an easy 5 minute fix!!! This place is horrible I will not be going again.

Went in for an oil change last month on a 2012 chevy cruze, engine light came on right after I left, turned out they didnt do it properly, cap was screwed on all the way, and had an oil leak. Had to get it fixed right after I left this place. Other than that, everyone seemed very nice.

Weve been customers of this people for sometime now. They always did decent work and their services were never bad. However, the actual owner for some reason today was rude, insulting, and simply nasty just because we could not agree on a price, I had to call the police right now to inform them of the incident. We even let one slide when their car wash scratched our truck, and they repaid our loyalty as customers with insults???

If I could give no star I would! This place will rip your lips off!! They charge over 100% for parts! They wanted to charge me 825 for back breaks alone!! And only took them 2.5 hours !! I did need all my parts for my back breaks but should have NEVER been charged that much!!!!! I feel totally taken advantage off! Could have went to a honda dealership and paid a couple hundred more for honda parts!!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone! John is the head guy there and only took 75 dollars off the price, this place is an absolute rip off!!!!!!!! Sucks when you cant trust people with your car and I will never be back!!!!!!!! WORST PLACE EVER!!

Took my car here for an oil change and tire rotation with no other issues on Friday March 13th. After service, I picked up my car and upon pulling out of their parking lot I noticed that my steering was very tight, almost as if I had no power steering. I initially thought maybe they did some minor wheel alignment and the issue would slowly fade away but it didnt. Today I bring my car back in explaining the issue only to get a call a half hour later quoting me for $1,900 in required maintenance in order to correct the issue. I was told the rack and pinion and the ball joints (located right near the tires that I had rotated) needed to be replaced.Was this an issue of a terrible coincidence or a fault on their end that they were unwilling to admit? I drove my car in with nothing wrong in the steering and left with a very noticeable difference. Coincidence or not, I will not be returning here for any car services.

A very good friend went to get her Honda looked at and it was discovered that she needed all new rear brakes; calipers, pads, and rotors. She was quoted $825 for parts and labor JUST for the back brakes. This was with a nearly $700 parts bill! She was scared about her brakes and didnt know any better and ask them to do the work. She contacted me about an hour after they began and I soon discovered that the markup on the parts was just ridiculous. I spoke with the owner and he said that the prices are based off the corporate database and that their cost on parts was nearly $570. I asked what parts they use and he said he did not know. She ended up having the work done and after much back and forth recieved a $75 discount off of her bill. Interestingly enough once the bill was paid for I called back and the same person finally told me they get their parts from Carquest or Napa....interesting, thats where I go...Just to compare apples to apples for parts quality, the carquest store just quoted me $325 (full retail) (not their cost of 570, I really hate it when people lie to me) for their highest grade caliper, pads, and rotors...So they literally marked up the parts 100% OVER retail! (They pay less than the retail at the stores because they have commercial accounts) Thats insane!! Bottom line is they way overcharge for actual mechanical work, but they do offer a warranty that is minimal as far as coverage. For a few hundred more you may as well go to the dealer where they use OE parts. Very disappointed in the cost and more so for being lied to about parts costs.
