They have a good selection of hardware products. It is hard to find staff that will help you. I have had multiple occasions when the staff have been extremely rude. Because of this, I do not frequent the establishment much anymore. They do have unique items like old fashioned candies, fruit and nuts.

They almost always have everything a person needs. If not they will get it for you. The staff is very knowledgeable.

Called with the item number I wanted and they had it at the front desk waiting for me. A check-out girl said come over here and I got my leaf blower and apples and nine minutes later was out the door. As a high risk senior I thank you for the quick service.

The employees not wearing masks because they dont care about the customers. A salesman trying to show me furniture with no mask on and I walked out. They have a sign on the door that masks are required but only 5 employees were wearing them and no manager was.

There seemed to be problems with advertising because I went there to get some cat treatments that was supposed to 6 in a box for x amount and it was only 3 to a box which made it not so good of a deal. Other than that my experience there was fine .

This is a great local and friendly home supply store. They have so much in stock and their associates have a lot of knowledge. I have never had trouble finding an associate who is willing to help and even shopped with me from beginning to end. I came today with an idea and the guy helped me think of every supply I’d need and then we filled the cart. Awesome local friendly place to spend your time and money. 👍🏻

I was buying metal trash cans & I needed lids. I found one for the big one just couldn’t find one for the 10 gal. I seen 6 workers walk by not one asked if I needed help.

I absolutely love Great Bend Sutherlands! The guys are always helpful and friendly! Last year I spent almost $10,000 there as I gradually update my parents house for future generations. I have always seen it as a part of my community so earlier this summer, I was a little disappointed that when gathering small local business donations for a young Great Bend mans Benefit, I was informed that Sutherlands does not donate to individuals in the community. Only organizations. I totally respect their guidelines but now save money by making a day of large purchases with a friend by driving to Home Depot in Hays or at one of the other businesses that have a history of contributing to local charities. Even with the gas and milage, my cost is less. But their friendly staff and convenient location definitely still draws me in for my more immediate needs. And who knows. Perhaps in the near future they will see a simple $25 gift card donation to a local charity as an investment in their community, also. Thank you, Great Bend Sutherlands for picking some amazing employees to assist your customers!
