Opened May 2020. A phenomenal craft butcher shop in the heart of downtown GF. TOP quality meat (sprouted grass finished) from a local ranch. Friendly and clean - beautiful display cases with cuts. You pick the weight, thickness, bone in/out whatever you want. Don’t know anything about meat? Don’t worry these guys do.

The owner is absolutely committed to quality and it shows. The steaks we had were locally sourced and the beef was properly raised. A wonderfully, bright, clean, interesting shop. Great Falls is lucky to have this business!

This place is a must stop if in Great Falls. The dry aged beef is so good, it’s so worth it to make a separate stop in. Not only that, but the inside looks like you are in New York City. It has so much character and is so clean. They have a cute little kid corner, so my kids can play when I order the meat. So far we have had burger meat, sausage, and flank steak. I give it an A+ in quality! I know they just started adding pork meat and I cannot wait to try. As of right now, my recommendation is the flank steak. It was honestly one of the best steaks I have ever had. We are so grateful for Central Avenue Meat and can’t wait to be back for some pork and beef meat soon!

You’ve gotta go. Period. Their storefront looks great, very Brooklyn/Manhattan feel to it, and they’ve got great EVERYTHING! Hamburger, brisket, trimmings, bones for broth and much more. All of it is organic beef from local ranchers. The owner and staff are super welcoming. I’m going back for chorizo and hamburger soon!

I’ve never cooked a 21 day dry-aged, grass fed hamburger before trying burger patties from here. It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever made. Definitely worth a shot.

This place offers high quality fresh meat for a fair price. Down to earth people who will certainly treat you right. Get on the steak wait list, you wont regret it. Theyll cut your ribeyes as thick as you can handle!
