King’s Premium Seafood Restaurant Great neck ny This spot was awesome, little hole in the wall spot. Serves some fresh and great seafood ! A few friends suggested this spot, its not a restaurant but more of like a small market place with a few seating. We went in and it was pretty empty but slowly it did fill up. I have to say the staff was very welcoming and helpful with our selections. We got the Softshell Crab sliders, it was cute it looks like the whole crab is stick out and looking at you. Along with their kobe slider to share with the group. This was really good, we wished we got more but we saved our appetite for the rest. Avocado salad was a nice portion and very lite before getting some more food. The karage or fried chicken was fried and each piece was a nice juicy chunk of chicken. Next we ordered some fresh uni either sushi or sashimi, we also were suggested to get spicy scallop rolls which were really good as well. Nice and creamy. With the Uni they gave us fresh wasabi which places dont always do. We also ordered a few other things crispy large prawns and sunrise mango rolls, also 16 piece sashimi omakase. The last of our order was the cube beef a nice large portion and juicy beef cubes with rice. A few of use wanted the dessert green tea sandwiches which was the end of our meal. We were stuffed and happy, everything was nicely priced too! Next time we will be back for more !
We stopped for lunch to try this Seafood/Sushi restaurant as we were in the a Great Neck Area (based on the positive Yelp/Google review). They had quite a few different speciality rolls which were unique. We ordered the Honey B roll and the Pink Favorite. Both rolls were great, however the PF roll was our favorite--Ive never tried sushi with beef on it. After we started our meal, the owner came to our table greeted us, talked about the quality of ingredients they source and where they are sourced from, and even showed us the raw Kobe beef being using (looked like the real thing to me). Finally, he even have us complimentary sake, which tasted great. You can get decent sushi at a million different places on the island, but not extrodinary service, well be back because of that experience. In terms of price the specialty rolls, err on the side of $$$ as opposed to $$, but you do get what you pay for, and its worth it. These are the kind of small businesses worth supporting. Last bite of pink favorite roll shown.
Best Japanese and fish restaurant on Long Island. The seafood is ALWAYS super fresh. My husband wonders how they do it... every time we go there. Amazing food. A little pricey but you get what you pay for!
Kings Seafood is one of the best restaurants in Great Neck when it comes to food quality!! The owners take pride in offering always fresh and NEVER frozen seafood that stands far above the usual frozen meals we eat at most other sushi restaurants... You can really taste a huge difference when your seafood was alive just minutes before you eat it!!!Their KOBE beef sliders and soft shell crab sliders are truly exceptional and a MUST TRY, even if your taking the meal to go!
Dont let the small space fool you. This is a fantastic place. Very High Quality Sushi (King Salmon and bluefin tuna are standard on their menu). On par with some of the best 5 star sushi restaurants in the city. The service from Adrien was top notch. He definitely makes the entire experience worthwhile. The wife and I were celebrating with an anniversary lunch and the meal and service were beyond our expectation. I cant say enough good things about this place. This is definitely our favorite place.
This place offers the freshest and tastiest sushi Ive had in America. The owner, Adrian, is the man; always helpful and entertaining. Wish I could come here more often.
Always looking for a hidden gem and in an area where there is no shortage of sushi restaurants or Asian cuisine I found this place. Great variety in menu and wine, beer along with my personal favorite choice with any Asian cuisine, saki! Been here a handful of times already and can tell the food is fresh every single time. Casual atmosphere with knowledgeable table service.
I came here based on the reviews. The staff were very very helpful. Maybe it was an off day but my sushi didnt taste quite fresh and I ended up feeling very sick a few hours later. I want to give them the benefit of a doubt. Also its important to note I got take out- and alot of the reviews I read were in house dining.
Its a very nice a informal Place prices are good And the ambience is pretty enjoyable. Also the food quality is pretty good too...
