Awesome experience for a first time visit.I’m not a big cigar smoker. I still enjoyed coming here for a drink and a cigar. The staff was very helpful in assisting me with cigar choice. I’m definitely a rookie and they made me feel welcome.Great drinks and a clean environment. The leather couches are elegant and comfortable. We are going back for sure!!

Met my friend there today. It was my first visit. Great atmosphere. They have a very friendly staff. I thought the seating was very comfortable. The seating is also very spread out, so you can enjoy your time and have a conversation without feeling like you are being listened to. They also have a great selection of cigars. Would recommend to any cigar enthusiast. Will be visiting again, for sure.

Very nice cigar bar. Walk in humidor with a extensive selection of cigars. Nice open space with comfortable seating and sports on large screen tvs. Nice bar with a good selection of beverages. Even with at least 20 people enjoying cigars, there was no smoke haze, due to well thought out filtration system. Been here many times. They have nice cigar related events with different cigar vendors throughout the year.

Prohibition cigar lounge is a unique and rare gem found in the city of Green Bay. The staff is not only friendly, but very knowledgeable when it comes to sharing the wide variety of cigar options for both novice and experienced consumers. The large setting, with TVs and card playing options, along with beer, wine and other spirit selections adds to a total positive experience.

An absolute must if you like a cigar! Being from the UK cigar lounges are sadly now a thing of the past. So visiting this place was a real treat. The humidor is extensively stocked and you are spoilt for choice. We took full advantage of the lounge to try a few cigars in the very comfortable and spacious lounge.

Is Prohibition your typical bar??...No....its the opposite of a bar. Its a classy lounge with top shelf spirits and the best cigar selection in the fox Valley. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The walk in humidor is filled with the very best in domestic and important cigar. I would recommend this lounge to anybody that wants a peaceful and relaxing place to go.

Looking for an excellent whiskey? Look no further, this place was amazing and the bartender was very knowledgeable. Great ambiance and cocktails! Such a fun and unique place with games and a separate room for people to enjoy a nice cigar. I didnt partake of the cigars but the sitting room was great and the other patrons were pleasant. A relaxed fun loving air permeates this establishment. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Great leather couches and good cigar/drink select. Staff is also very nice! Lights a little dimmer and jazzy music would add to the atmosphere, but overall a good time.

Really comfy chairs tied together with a knowledgeable staff that will help you find the perfect cigar makes for a fantastic afternoon of relaxation. They have a large walk in humidor with wide selection and a couple standing humidors filled with flavoured and premium options. To top it off they have one of the best selections of spirits in their bar and in my opinion one of the best double old fashioneds in the area if you like it sweet.

Staff is awesome, the owners are some of the greatest guys I know, I am a regular here and its very fun place, very chill and great people from all over the place. Very good humidor selection along with top end spirits and wine. Not to mention cheap, in a large city a night out at a place like this would be 300-400 not so much here.

This is a great little spot. The staff is very helpful, and theres plenty of TVs around for Sundays with football. We went in right after a game from Lambeau finished up, and there was a very mellow crowd. Four of us were able to get immediate service, and sat down very comfortable on the leather sofas.This place has everything for cigar lovers. The staff is very knowledgeable, and made recommendations easily as we described our flavor profiles, etc. They have really put together a great experience in this location!

Best place to get cigars in Green Bay

Excellent cigar lounge. The layout is just perfect : large volumes, good smoke extraction, nice furniture, superb collection of ashtrays. The service is great too. The selection of modules is among the best I have seen in the US (knowing there are no Cubans). A must go if you travel north.

Great time! Very good selection of cigars. And perfect beverages to pair. I told Dane what I liked and he picked out a winner. Great Job Dane! It would be great if you could get an espresso (not a latte) but the IPA was great as well.

I dont leave reviews much. That being said, this place deserves the review. Beautiful, clean and neat lounge. Awesome staff with even better beer. Great cigar selection and plenty of cards distributed about the lounge. Will be going again sometime.

This was the last stop of a downtown Green Bay crawl. Got a flight of bourbon on a Thursday which meant that it was discounted, and went for happy hour which stacked the discounts.They have some outdoor seating, but its on the street so its not the most quaint. The interior is clean and very well ventilated. Comfy leather chairs, wood finishing.The bar is separate from the smoking area, so if you only want a drink you dont have to be in a smokey environment.There was also a featured cigar distributor there that night. The staff knew all about the different brands of cigars and were not pushy at all. Fair prices too.

If youve ever gone to a bar to be with friends and wanted to talk but its difficult because there is too many people to close or the music is too loud this place is for you. The staff was amazing the area was busy but not cramped and it was nice soft lighting the perfect place to sit talk and connect to your closest people. Exactly what I was looking for when I walked in.

We recently hosted a 1920s event as well in which we utilized custom paired cigars from Prohibition and our guests were blown away at the attention to detail Prohibition provided with the items they provided for us. Great combination of cigars, drinks and lounging. I picked up a Cohiba and an Ashton for a road trip to the north woods. I enjoyed both cigars but, liked the Ashton the best. Because of the traveling I had to do, I couldnt linger for a smoke and a shot of Johnny Walker. Gotta drive safe!!!!

Prohibition offers the a great cigar bar experience at a reasonable price. They have a great selection of common and unique cigars, guaranteed to have something for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and definitely a great place to go unwind, play a game of chess, darts, or watch some sports. The separated bar is easily accessible so you can enjoy a drink with your cigar. Definitely a must try!

Nice selection of cigars and an excellent, diverse array of fine libations. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. There is ample seating in leather chairs gathered around TVs that may be on or off, based upon customer control of the remotes. A few tables allow for cards, chess, other games, or simply as a gathering for fellowship.

Great place with a lot going on. warm atmosphere. The owner is always friendly and knowledgeable. Bourbon selection in the bar. Has the best deal on cigar boxes I have ever seen. Got all my holiday shopping done because of this.

Fantastic whiskey selection

Fantastic atmosphere as soon as you walk in. My wife commented it looks like you should see Al Capone sitting in a leather chair in the corner. Staff is extremely helpful. Susan took her time walking me through the humidor to pick out some new cigars to try out just based on a few questions. Worth the visit for sure if youre in or passing through Green Bay. I KNOW Ill be back!

The ambiance is perfect. Big leather chairs and couches, T.V.s, great old building that still has its character showing on the inside. The bar itself is worth stopping in for. Absolutely fantastic whiskey selection. The humidor is amazing too. Great selection of cigars. If you cant find a good cigar in your price range, there is something wrong with you. I will be back.

Classiest place ever!

Last week two of my closest friends and I who all served in Iraq back in 2006 get together once a year in Green Bay.For the first time we tried your Bar and Lounge....to say it was a once in a lifetime experience is a gross understatement...to me heaven has a Prohibition Spirts and Cigar Lounge...somewhere, what you have is a preview of it.Me and my two friends, a band of brothers have made a solemn pact that every year we get together we will make it a point to recline and reminisce and bond at your establishment till its time for all of us to go to the eternal lounge in the sky........thank you.

This place was so great that I dont really want to share my experience and cause a crowd. Me and my friend both had work to do on our computers and sat there for 4+ hours in our own back area with leather sofas and used the wifi. Im a cigar smoker, my friend is just getting into the hobby. The guy that helped us pick cigars was not pretentious like a lot of cigar reps I come across. He helped us pick out some great smokes right in line with my flavor preferences and overall this was one of the best Green Bay experiences we have ever had. Props to this amazing establishment.

An oasis for cigar lovers in Green Bay. Super comfortable overstuffed chairs and couches arrayed around big screen TVs. They have a full service bar where you can get great cocktails, wine and beer. What a great hangout!

Honestly my favorite bar in Green Bay. Please note that Im a cigar smoker and that is for sure influencing my opinion. Prohibition is always clean and the staff is super friendly. They will gladly go out of their way to help cigar newbies and any newcomers. The drinks are fantastic and the humidor is a very nice experience. Im soon going to buy myself a vip membership.

We have enjoyed other experiences at prohibitions, but last night was hands down the worst service Ive ever gotten anywhere. We came in to smoke with a group of eight people all of which wanted to order drinks and smoke. The waitress was very short with us and after delivering one round of drinks never came back to get any other orders in the HOUR we were there. They treated us as though we were an inconvenience when we had asked for information about their cigars. We would have stayed and had at least 3 more drinks had were actually been served. This service is completely unacceptable and we will most likely not be returning.

It was mid day when I went. The place was empty but customers came and went. I liked it. Theres nothing bad to say about selection or staff. Nothing great either.

The perfect place to unwind after a long week. Hubby gets a cigar, I get a nice glass of wine. Its a win for everyone
