Gigantic doesnt really describe the assortment of hats in many colors and styles or if they dont have your color you can order they also have some hats that are discontinued. The service is great as well if you dont want to spend a lot of money they can help you find a nice hat that fits your budget but a good hat is always worth the money

We (my girlfriend and I) have been meaning to visit this shop because Ive been looking for a specific hat, like the ones sold here but after today we will never step inside again. We happened to arrive right as they were opening. Upon entering the man behind the counter, who we assume is the owner, didnt even look up. I said hello and got a snobby hello back. We began to look around anyway and noticed another man browsing. The man noticed us and turned to me to ask if I could reach for a hat that was a bit higher up, so I kindly got it down for him. Suddenly the man working hurries over and rudely tells the man that the hat doesnt fit him and that theyre set higher because theyre far too expensive and he doesnt want people grabbing them down. It was a very uncomfortable experience and at that moment I knew I didnt want to give this man my business so we immediately left. Honestly, if he didnt want us helping ourselves to the hats then maybe he shouldve greeted us and asked if he could help us find anything, you know, customer service? I felt bad leaving that man in there alone to fend for himself, he was wearing a hat similar to the ones sold there and was probably planning on buying another. I just dont understand why he wouldnt have been excited about having 3 customers on a Monday right at open... long story short, do not shop at this old grumpy mans store, he clearly doesnt want anyone buying his precious hats.

Great place to purchase a hat. They have many different styles. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable.

One of, if not the only hat shop in the fox valley area. Guy who runs the shop is very helpful and nice. Theyve got any kind of hat you could want. If you need a hat, you wont have much choice but to come here. Luckily the place is great!

First let me say there was a phenomenal selection of hats! There was a lot of quality items to choose from. Now on to the proprieter. There were 6 of us in the shop and two of us were trying on hats. Suddenly he says in a loud grumpy voice that there are signs all over to not try on hats without help!! Needless to say, I put down the $84.00 hat that I had been contemplating and the 6 of us left. In retrospect.... Only one of the 6 of us had seen a single sign that said to get help to try on hats so the all over was a bit of an overstatement. Secondly, had he greeted us warmly and said welcome, if there are any hats you would like to try on please ask for help the situation would have been averted. It is unfortunate that we were truly interested in making a purchase and chased out by being chastised. As the other review says there is a great selection and not many hat shops in the area.

The proprietor is friendly and knowledgeable. Hats ranging from about $50 to about $200, good quality hand made straw, will felt and fur felt products.
