When another mechanic couldn’t diagnose or fix my car, they referred me to Simmons as a place “I would take my car to.” They had the problem figured out and fixed in a day. Reasonable prices. I would definitely go back.

Simmons (especially Matthew) went out of their way to help an out of stater with a car issue while driving through the area. They were able to get our vehicle into their shop on short notice, diagnose the issue, explain the issue, fix the issue and were extremely reasonable in their pricing. They made our car trouble/ bad experience less stressful and making sure we were satisfied. My only regret is we don’t live in the area or else they’d have a new lifelong-customer.

Bought a vehicle from stanfield auto dealer in Greenfield. Shifter linkage broke within 1 week of purchase. I called stanfield and the owner agreed to fix it as long as I took it to Simmons. No problems. Was under my truck today and found out that instead of broken part being replaced it was welded back. I will NEVER do any type of business with either of these places again the fact that this vehicle was fixed this way tells me all i need to know about this business.

So...I have a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria that had a noise that sounded like a horse trotting down the road when I drove it. During Covid, it sit. A guy I trust here in town told me to go see Simmons. I dropped my car off at close . Got a call 30 minutes after they open. Told me a reasonable price for services . I told them to go ahead. Got a call a few hours later saying they were done. Wife went to pay for it.... significantly lower price then quoted . Also, they fixed an issue I was going to do to save money...basically for free! This established company is one of the great staples that keep the small town feel in a city growing rapidly day after day. When the big names move into town, its places like this that keep people like us in mind when defining what quality service and valued customer means. When you need a repair, Simmons cares. Highly recommend.

We just bought a suburban from stanfeilds ( don’t do that)and have been to this shop with our new to us vechile twice before our first car payment. The first stanfeild paid for it the second time there was a gas leak and the shop had drop the tank to replace a pipe. They charged us over 400$ and we just attempted to fill the tank and gas went everywhere again! We need it fixed properly or our money back. I change this review to a three star review because they did give us our money backAnd they fixed the first problem correctly the first timeDespite all the problems they were also courteous but wanted nothing to do with our car after this.

Whether buying a car, getting one serviced, or having major work done, I go to Simmons. Theyve always been honest with me even when it cost THEM money. Theyve always kept their word and always stood behind their expert work for me and my family.

They installed my brake lines and muffler well. They seem to butcher everything else. Used a used power steering pump which was broke anyway and trashed my suspension simply because they jack the torsion keys too high. I spent a lot of extra money for now reason. Prices are good but you got to check the quality of the work

Can not say enough good things about these guys. Im new to the area so I didnt have a mechanic here yet. Well, I have one now!Just last week I had my company vehicle breakdown and had it towed into their shop. They jumped on it right away, ordered the parts (this was a broken front axle and ball joint) and had the vehicle ready to go in 24 hours!Thank you Simmons Auto. Youve definitely earned a customer.

Good prices, shady work, very rude customer service besides the lady who answered the phone she was nice and helpful. Feel like I was hoodwinked for the money I spent there. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
