They made the buying experience very smooth for me when I called from over an hour and a half away. I requested extra photos of a truck on the lot and they made sure to take and send them in an amazingly timely manner. I scheduled an appointment to come and view the truck and walked away same day with a deal. The only reason Id take a star away was when I called about the extended service plan that I had purchased, they didnt seem to know to much about how it works and didnt see it on file for my truck at first.. I found out that It CAN be used at ANY dealership. Not just at Toyota (I was told the extended warranty could only be used at a Toyota dealer. To my surprise, my local Toyota dealer refused to touch the truck as they did not feel comfortable doing so, Ford across the street was able to use my extended service plan after making a phone call to the company.)

Absolute WORST experience Ive EVER had at a car dealership... massive waste of time... incredibly unprofessional and will not work with you they only want to make money and provide no customer service... they prey on people STAY awayRoman the sales guy is especially terrible because he argues and doesnt want to do any work to sell a car and the manager Craig is insulting, arrogant, and downright unprofessional... they want to do no work to sell cars... NEVER AGAIN!!Im VERY credit worthy but they wouldnt let me use my own financing if I couldnt get approval immediately ON A SATURDAY AFTER A HOLIDAY and that I could only use their one approved offer at 5.99 percent with 5k down... can you say PREDATORY? My credit is good.I was insulted... Roman walked away from me for asking if I could have until Monday to secure financing stating they dont do that and i have to work with their lenders and will just sell to someone else instead... I have valid pre-qualifications and approvals in my email he refused to see... its a Saturday... no banks are open to speak with other than the computer generated options... they wouldnt listen and insulted me...I told Craig the manager the customer service was bad and he went off on me... it was the most unprofessional experience in my life...I have the means to purchase and came in twice and drove 40 minutes each way... they wouldnt give me to Monday saying they were going to sell it to the next person at 245pm because I didnt have immediate financing on a SATURDAY... horribly unprofessional and unfair practices.I offered to put a 1000 deposit to hold until Monday...they refused... Ive never been treated this way... disgustingEDIT... not one thing in their response below is accurate... they were rude, arrogant, and predatory... watch your fees and charges with this dealership... nothing about offering $1000 deposit to hold a vehicle until banks are open on Monday because this was Saturday and they supposedly had one approved lender when I have well over a 660 credit score is unrealistic. They refused to take a deposit and wait until Monday instead threatening to sell the vehicle to another appointment if I didnt take their termsThey offered financing only through them for 5.99 percent and 5k down for 3 year term... horrible

New to the area and had a recall on a Ford truck. I called the Greenfield dealership and was pleasantly set up with a date and time. Days later I had to cancel the appointment; a friendly voice on the phone quickly got me hooked up again. When I arrived I was seen immediately, shown where to wait and seated comfortably. In no time I was being called; with the recall taken care of I was on the road again.
I purchased a car through Chris Taylor. He was so helpful through the entire process. Over the course of a month, he assisted myself and my wife on different test drives in 5 or 6 different vehicles. When our children were sick, he even drove a vehicle to our house to be able to test drive - What other sales person has ever done that? Despite all the time we took to decide on a vehicle, he never pressured us, just helped show us everything we wanted to see and answered any question we had. At the end, we are very happy with the vehicle we purchased and I believe we got it at a very fair price. I will definitely purchase future vehicles through Chris and Ford of Greenfield.
Scott and Jen in the service department WILL scam you and then tell you to your face you are not getting help from them. Jen actually told me the managers would NEVER call me back to discuss my issues. Maybe sales is great, but the service department should be shut down.
I came in today to trade my 2004 f250. Another local dealer for fords in brattleboro did a very poor job at treating me fairly or even listening to my needs. This dealership in Greenfield treated me like a person. My salesperson Roman did a great job at meeting my needs in the vehicle I wanted. Even though he had full plate with other customers he took time for me to do what he could to make everyone happy. Thank you Roman and your colleges for making this happen.

Always a pleasurable experience with Toyotas Service Department. They are detailed with what needs to be fixed. They are accurate when quoting cost of repair. Their drop off/pick up shuttle service is a bonus as their drivers are friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend this dealership for service repairs.
Well, here goes again. Had to return out of necessity... as life would have it my car died a mile away and I had to have it towed to the nearest place. Ford Of Greenfield was it. They charged me $888.75 and when I went to pick up the car it wouldnt start! Jen said she could jump it and I could drive it home! Unacceptable. I had it towed home. Called and left messages for a month to see about talking to a manager to get a refund, was finally able to speak with Scott and he said theres no way Im getting a refund, he wont even discuss it, and I can take him to court or do whatever I want, hes not helping me no matter what. Do yourselves a favor and find ANY other place to have your car worked on. Management is unhelpful, to say the least. Im sad there are still people treating other people this way. What happened to good old fashion business practices :(

I purchased a car through Chris Taylor. The process of buying the car was great and easy. One star is for the SERVICE department. I cannot believe my experience. I went in for service only THREE months after buying my car. I was told I needed all new lugnuts (for $200) or they couldnt rotate my tires or do the required maintenance for my greenshield protection. I bought my own lugnuts for $25 and they all came off WITH NO PROBLEM! They were not swollen like they said. They did not need to be replaced and certainly not for that price. The breaks were not propely changed before I bought the car. Only a few months after they were loud and barely working. Its clear to me the car wasnt even serviced before I bought it considering all of this. I will never do business here again and would rather lose my greenshield. Absolutely pathetic service.

Wicked easy. Called ahead, gave my VIN, rolled my car into the service bay, signed some paperwork and waited. Little while later they handed me my keys, signed some more paperwork, and I was back on my way.Theyre great for auto servicing and really quick about everything. Very clean, very cut and dry.

Traveling from Florida and ran vehicle health report. My readout said the oil needed to be attended to. Although the service management team had a full schedule, they made the time to give me an oil change so I didnt have to rent a hotel room for 2 days for service. This was my first experience shopping at a dealership and Shane made it easy, seamless and not scary at all. He was not like the stereotypical pushy car salesman, and allowed me to take my time and consider a few options. I did not have collision on my previous vehicle so Shane let me drive a free rental for a few days until my new insurance kicked in. He also supplied me with his cell phone number to call if any questions over the weekend. Overall, great experience. We will definitely be back to shop from Shane again in the future.

Had wifes car towed here from the NY state line because it was the closest Ford deal to our house. Big mistake! We had it in once before for a coolant recall and it was having a coolant issue again, so figured it was something to do with that. Told we would have a ride home from the dealership, when we arrived the response was no ride, the driver went home 45 minutes ago. Waited almost a week for them to diagnose it. It shouldnt take that long for them to diagnose a car, but anyways. Once the figured it out, they told us it was a water pump and not covered under the recall and said it would be over $800 just to replace the WATER PUMP! So, we called a local mechanic and they quoted us less than that to do the pump AND a timing belt. So we towed it over there to have it fixed, got a call from the other shop saying that Ford of Greenfield broke the hood release. So we called the dealer to let them know and that we expected them to fix it. We get a call back later stating we didnt break it, and the tech said he didnt do it, of course they would deny it, so we ask if they will fix it because it was fine when we brought it in. Nope was the response and then they hung up on my wife mid sentence. Terrible service, terrible prices, slow with everything, and rude to top it off! Sad because we are a Ford family. Maybe we would get better service and hospitality across the street with Chevy? You all lost another couple customers over a hood latch cable. Pat on the back.
Typical dealership bait and switch tactics, if your lucky enough to have a sales person who will return your phone calls it will only be to get you in the door long enough for them to tell you the vehicle isnt on the lot anymore or the advertised price was a typo. Theres plenty of ford dealers in mass do your self a favor and find a more honest one

My son and his future wife and I were there Sat. the 18 of Feb. We looked at a few cars and saw a focus 2016 leftover with a hand written price on the window .After we sat down with the salesmen for awhile he came back from the managers office with an answer to a question we asked only to tell us the price on the window was not including the extras.. To me that was a shady deal. Be careful when shopping there

Can I give them a zero star? Have told me to replace rear heater for $1500 as it was leaking...it was not. POOR analysis of noises, $100 charge to tell me a new battery was bad (it wasnt), car dropped off in am and needed in the afternoon to meet my kids school bus SEVERAL times was not looked at till after lunch. I consider them incompetent crooks that harmed my view of the Ford product. Thank goodness for other Ford dealers in Bratt and Noho.

My daughter is a full time college student that pays for her own education. We went to Ford of Greenfield to buy her Jeep using her own hard earned money. The staff was pleasant and the dealer was a nice guy. The owner showed me a list of repairs the Jeep was going to receive. He said it needed a new tire but we agreed all four had to be replaced since it is four wheel drive and the other tires are over half worn. During negotiations the dealer said a few times they couldnt go too much lower since the Jeep was getting new tires, a radiato, brakes etc. When my daughter came home a few days later with the Jeep she wasnt smiling. They only replaced one tire and put her never used spare without tire pressure monitoring on the other rear side. How can they sell a Jeep like that and also go back on what they promised? The owner said he couldnt find it in writing about the tires. Odd because everything else was done. I thought they were going to be an actual respectable dealership however they chose to be the stereotypical stealership. Very dissapointed. Please chime in with your dissapointing experience. Thanks.
These guys were awesome. We had a little communication issue because of staff being sick but we worked through it. Because the issue with my truck took long then expected. Ive only taken my truck here when under warranty, but they were very good at doing the necessary and complex diagnosis to track down some faulty wiring after just one trip down the garden path.
Bought 2014 F150 Oct 2018, found the truck has a clunk in rear end when starting from stop and vibration at highway speeds. Service dept didnt fix it even though sales said they would take care of it. Service had it twice for a total of 5 days. Service manager not good at listening and answering questions, she only TELLS you what she wants you to know. Sales manager got very aggressive with me when confronted about getting it fixed elsewhere and charging them for the repair. Im done with Cartelli Ford of Greenfield. Ill take it elsewhere for service and repair.I gave them the opportunity to make it right and all they did was make it worse.Update: Ford of Northampton was able to fix it. Greenfield installed brakes wrong. Northampton fixed brakes, including e-brake which was binding and they lubed the slip yolk. No more CLUNK or vibration...Update2: after having the work done in Northampton I sent the letter to Bob cartelli demanding repayment of $479. He sent me a note back within two weeks saying that you would reimburse me, I received the check shortly after.UPDATE 2: Took truck in for its first service since Ive had it. Timing belt gasket leak and a leak from some canister. $2000 in repairs. Northampton service told me this has been leaking for a long time. Why didnt Greenfield fix it before they sold it? If another service dept can find a problem that Greenfield cant.... Beware of Greenfield Ford Service.I wish I could give zero......
Ford of Greenfields service shop is unprofessional and they are scamming customers using fear and deception. My husband and I took my car in to the shop with The Works coupon which included an inspection and oil change. We dropped the car off at 9am and received a call at 1:30pm saying that the car was in such bad shape that they didnt even do an oil change because its not worth it. She stated that the car was unsafe to drive and she suggested looking into a new one. (Big surprise here! They are a dealership after all...) When asked why they kept the car all day when we had an appointment at 9am, she said that I should have told them I needed it back right away... No apology. Then she stated that the charge would be $50... just for the inspection! I insisted that they complete the oil change as that is what we brought the car in for in the first place... A week later, I took my car to another mechanic in town. He said that the car needed $800 in repairs (not the $1500 that the dealership quoted me) and that the car certainly wasnt unsafe to drive. I cannot believe the audacity of this shop. They are a complete disgrace to the industry and I am telling everyone I know about the treatment I received here.

My wife took her car in for Air Bag recall, and when it was ready she called for someone to pick her up. A half hour later, No Pickup, called again, on hold 15 min. When answered she was told they wound be there in 5 min. Nope! Called again, same thing, When the driver got there he said nobody had told him! I;m thinking they need New Management. When it was Sweeney Ford, service was Great! I hope the Air Bag works!
My Ford Fiesta had to go in for service for a warrantied transmission job. The staff in Service was more than accommodating. After I dropped my car off, they arranged for a ride back to South Deerfield for me. When the job took longer than expected because they had to have a part shipped overnight, they sent someone back to SD to pick me up and take me to the dealership, then they gave me a loaner car to use. Horrible from start to finish. I broke down driving from Vermont to Virginia and had no choice but to use this dealer. The repair took 3 weeks longer then quoted and cost me much more then the original estimate! They even billed me for a recalled part! This dealer is not to be trusted.

I have bought 6 used vehicles from Ford of Greenfield and Sweeneys . My must recent purchase was horrible . There was an coolant leak when I tried the car out. I reported it to the sales person who said it will be looked at before I purchase it. When I came to pick up the vehicle it was not fixed. Plus I had to come back to get the vehicle registered which was free but I waited 2 hours. That should have been done too-big inconvenience. The company waited until I purchased the vehicle and a warranty which the company then fixed it on my warranty and not on their dime. I agree if this was Sweeneys it would never have happened . Out of the 6 vehicles that I mention only 2 were purchased from Ford of Greenfield. I didnt even get an apology for the error of the sales person. What happened to good old customer service ?

Waited 3 and a half hours for an oil change after i had an apointment and they told me it would take 1 hour, they did not rotate my tires wich they said was included, and did not perform the inspection they said was included. leave and come to find out they didnt fill the oil in my car only brought it up to 50 percent. contacted them 3 times and did not here back at all. i will never return.
BUYER BEWARE! The folks in the service dept will rip you off!!! I was in for a regular oil change and was told by Randy Wheelock that my Ford F350 was unsafe to drive. He said I needed to leave it overnight to be fixed because I had no brakes left on the rear and about 2 mm on the front. He gave me a price quote which included new calibers a little over $1000! I declined and drove the vehicle home. When we removed the rear tires we had to lean a piece of wood against the tire and hit it with a sledge hammer to loosen it from the rotar. They never took the rear tires off, which you need to do to even see the brakes! There was never any danger to me or my vehicle like they said. There was 5mm left on the front breaks and 6 on the rear, new is 10mm! When I mentioned it to Randy the next time I went in, he blamed everyone and everything else and did not acknowledge the dishonesty or apologize. Scott, in the office next to the Service Dept was very nice listened and gave me a free oil change. Which I appreciate, but they lost my trust. The point is these people do not care about the customer. I dont want free stuff, I want piece of mind.We have also had an issue with the parts department. We called this morning to get a part. The guy said, We dont have it in stock....... Okay......Then we had to ask is there another dealer nearby that has one? Umm let me check. nope. Can we order it? How long will it take to get here? (You get the point. ) He said the only place they had it was in NY and it could be here in 3 days....We decided to call another Ford dealer in Bennington, VT and what a difference! Long story short, when he realized he didnt have the part, he looked up who did, on his own. He said I can order the part for you and have it here by 10am tomorrow, or you can drive and pick it up from one of these dealers in CT. Then he gave us the phone #s for those dealers. All we did was ask for the part. That is customer service. They have my business from today forward. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of the boneheads in Greenfield.
