Is it just me or is our Kroger hiring more emo and gothic people? Recently I’ve noticed the store has a ton of really young weird colored hair employees and they seem to not enjoy their jobs. I’ve also noticed their clothes are not professional looking and have many piercings. Could it be because of the high turnover rate of store managers at this locations? There has been like 4-5 store managers in the last two years there. Please don’t become ghetto like Indy. Try to stay classy

Bought frosted chocolate brownies made by the bakery there. They were awful. Tasted like sugar free brownies with a cake like texture. They left an after taste like sugar free products typically do. I love the Kroger bakery in Greenfield because the staff is friendly, but I do not love these brownies. Very deceiving because they look delicious. I couldnt finish my portion after cutting into it. Yuck.

Seen some dark specks in a bunch of jake I bought here and just thought it was dirt from when it was grown but I put it under a microscope and it was full of bugs did find a few rare hot wheels here tho

I love the scan/pay/go feature but in these COVID times it usually isn’t available. The self checkout is super finicky and I often find myself cussing it under my mask. You know-because no one knows it is you when half of your face is covered. The store is well stocked. The lunch meat counter employees must live on a different planet, they don’t acknowledge you when you come to the counter and continue on about their merry business. I have started to think the lunch meat counter employees at every grocery store across America are trained in this tactic. Curbside shopping A+

Ive always loved Kroger cakes. Ive never gotten one from this specific Kroger but I ordered one for my sons birthday this year because it was the closest to us. Never again!!!! GROSS it was so dry, the icing crumbled it tasted awful like stale bread. Ive always bought from Kroger bakery for cakes but ill never do this one again!Not to mention the lady that was working back there was less than friendly good lord she didnt even look up when she barked do u need something....

Called at 7:00 am to see if the bakery at theGreenfield store could possibly make time to make my granddaughter a birthday cake for that afternoon. Short answer NO! WE REQUIRE 24 HOURS ADVANCE NOTICE. Ok. I get that. My fault anyway. Then I ask if they have a kit they can just throw on any cake. Im not sure, I cant guarantee there will be any cakes available. Crickets......... you have a bakery...... you have not one but two cake cases..... and youre not sure if youll have any cakes available?????? Can we say not only rude and unprofessional, but lacking customer service skills as well? Awful. Thankfully Walmart stepped up and even though the poor decorator there was on her own today, she took my order and was very kind about it.

This is my go to Gregory store.. always clean and well stocked. Some employees have not been very nice, but that isnt said for ALL of them.. I love my Kroger!

If I could give more stars than 5, I totally would. I dont like grocery shopping, two kids that want everything, no thank you. It is so easy and convenient to be able to order groceries and go pick them up. So I obviously do this often. I have been in customer service for a very long time, the Kroger click list people HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Everything is always there, they greet you and ask how youre day is going. During this time, a simple conversation can mean the world to some people that are struggling. Ariel (sorry if i spelled it wrong) and the other staff are just amazing. Thank you for all that you do and making this moms life easier.

Had a cake made for my brother and it was the worst cake Ive every seen. Words were on the side not in the middle you can see the cake through the icing. And also on the top you see cake crumbs. Im not a cake baker but I know any other cake Ive bought never looked this bad

I agree with some of the other reviews. This Kroger is old and desperately needs work. Pitiful selection to choose from (especially in the produce section!), long check out lines, dark and closed off. Such a shame because there are some lovely Kroger facilities that I have been to, but this one should be shut down or completely renovated. They really need to expand their organic and simple truth options as well.

Kroger has reasonable prices and friendly people work there.

This Kroger needs updated its the old style Kroger. Most Kroger’s are bigger and cleaner I’m not saying the staff isn’t nice and they don’t do a good job it just needs updated. Maybe building a new one in greenfield like most have done in Indy, it’s the only grocery store here so I think the citizens of Greenfield deserve a more updated shopping experience.

Great experience this morning. I had filled my reusable bags and the contents were going to 2 locations. When I got to the checkout, only the self check was open. There was no space at the self check to empty the contents of the bags, scan and put them back. The employee overseeing it quickly offered to help, unloading, scanning, and repacking my bags. So helpful!

This Kroger has a strong meat department. What they lack in fresh fish they have a good assortment of Frozen varieties available. Produce is in average stock. There is a lack of checkout Lanes frequently. And the clerks that are pulling up for online orders or wildly in your way as you are trying to shop. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Very nice. Lots of staff to check people out. Lots of choices to pick from and well stocked. Produce was beautiful. Store was clean. My one suggestion is as for all grocery and department stores and that is to not block isles with displays as it makes moving through stores very difficult. Thank you.

This is my wifes favorite Kroger to go to. It is what you would expect from a Kroger and that is why she goes here. It beats the east Washington one by a mile do to all the crazies that fill the other ones. The workers here are nice and always willing to help you with your needs.

Quick in and out today. Still no small carts available. No baskets by door either. But they had the items I came in for plus some I didnt intend on purchasing. With a cart maybe I could have gotten some more.

Good store, with very good prices/deals. Maybe its just the days we go, but we feel like they could sometimes do a better job keeping stuff in stock. Particularly in the produce area. Overall very good store though. And the staff is always helpful and friendly.

So I talk to a manager named Heather. After listening to my complaint her solution was since youre dissatisfied pull your scripts and take them somewhere else! Wow! I thot in that businesses try to fix problems not tell the customer to go somewhere else.

Shelves not stocked. Quick pick up shopping carts blocking aisles. Check outs all jammed and slow. Half an hour to shop. Half an hour before to check out and they didnt ring up my coupons. Good place to start a grocery.

Helpful employees. They always know where items are located that I cannot find. The only complaint that I have is the lack of cashiers. They stripped out lanes for self-checkout machines that are buggy.

Great selection of products! Store always clean. Good bargains if you watch the sale add.

I shop here often. Sometimes the prices are way too high but they have good sale items and coupons. The store is clean, well organized and the employees are very nice and helpful.

This management team knows NOTHING about holiday ordering! No Turkey injectors, no reams noodles, no Turkey gravy. I worked retail for 15 years and managed grocery, dairy, produce and frozen and I NEVER ran out of items I know sell during holidays

Absolutely love shopping at Kroger. I dont mind paying a little extra for things when the experience is so much better here than other places. Love the staff in this store as well.

Great staff. But I wish this Kroger would do a better job of keeping things stocked. Need red baron deep dish pepperoni pizza....out. Need red gold ketchup....out. Need Boboli pizza crust...out. Need tomato juice to make chili....sorry OUT!

Everything was great. Store was packed, as usual. Doesnt look like the negative article in the paper has made any impact. We will all just need to keep our eyes open. As with ANY PLACE we go these days.

This store is ALWAYS out of regular stuff I try and purchase. I emailed corporate and was ignored so I just go in back room and get it myself. Nobody ever questions me or tries to stop me. Department heads don’t care. When I say always out of stock I mean ALWAYS! Something I buy regularly will be empty. They clearly STILL can’t handle the extra business from Marsh closing over a year ago. They never have many registers open and force you into self checkout. There is almost always a line at register OR self checkout. More often than not, I have to get my own grocery cart from parking lot because there are none. This store does not care about customers. They don’t care if they are out of stock on a regular basis.

Why would you have such a grumpy and rude person working in the flower deparment? I was trying to get a bouquet and ballons for my firdt granddaughter and the clerk was rude and said to hurry with my purchase. She left and didnt tie the ballons correctly and they flew away as ai was walking into the hospital. Why Kroger? Rude service. I thought you thrived to have better customer service. Disgusting. Get better Kroger. Tour loosing faithful customers.

Could be much cleaner. Difficult to get through aisles because of cartons left unattended, stockers and displays. Never know if what I need is in stock. Few cashiers now that they have opened self-check. Not enough carts for handicapped. I avoid this store when I can.

I have shopped here for 15 years. They have gone downhill in the last two years to the point where I am considering going elsewhere. They never have everything on my list. Sometimes difficult to find a cart on a weekend. And the past two trips I have been forced into the scan and go while employees stood around closed registers. That is fine for a small to medium size order, but not when purchasing nearly $200.00 worth of stuff. I will say their meat selection is usually not bad.

Friendly and helpful. Produce is set so appealing. Meat and fish department is clean and stocked well.

If you applied for a job, make sure you have a back up. Went in for an interview, accepted the job offer, waited for 5 weeks for any information back on background check. Already accepted a full time job about 2 weeks after going in. I kept calling the HR lady that did my stuff but she was always unavailable. Not many people have the time to wait around to hear back from a job

The Store is clean and its easy to find things and the Prices are good. However, the 4 hour lead time for online purchases is way too long. 30 to 60 minutes max. will get me to use that Service - otherwise no. Amazon can do deliveries for some item to my door in 4 hours.

My own cows could produce milk and have it bottled faster than this place can get it. Normally not a bad place for produce, but everything else is like walking into Auldis or Ollies. This is Greenfield, it shouldnt feel like Irvington or downtown when you walk into a store in Greenfield. Overall a change in color and management and I wouldnt see why anyone would write a bad review. Except me.

Used to be my favorite place to shop. Prices are still pretty good. But the quality of meat aint what it used to be. And its usually crowded.

I dont know what it is with Greenfield chain grocery stores (Walmart does this too, but to a worse extent) but they RESTOCK during the day! Its the most annoying thing, do constantly dodge pallets, produce carts, and dry grocery stocking carts during normal business hours.Apparently no one wants to pay overnight associates, Im looking for a mom and pop operation, or going to McCordsville apparently.

Our online grocery pick up was a nightmare at this location. The 2 employees that loaded our vehicle up just threw our groceries in. Resulting in torn bags, smashed bread/buns and bags were upside down. My wife had to get out and rearranged the entire order. We spent 170$ here. We had the manager come out to show her the pictures and the damaged goods. The manager did absolutely nothing but apologize for what happened. We will never use Kroger online ordering app. Very disappointing

Start with the fresh vegetables. Every bell pepper had soft brown spots on it. The entire fresh produce,with the exception of bagged potatoes was poorly stocked. There were only 6 chuck roasts to choose from.( these were on sale) Empty spots on the shelves where there was supposed to be sale items. (Happens all of the time) The store is quite difficult to maneuver around in because of all of the cardboard display cases in the aisles. Only one cart at a time can pass through the aisle. Ill be doing a lot more of my shopping at Ali from now on. Id rather pack my own groceries, save money and be out of the store quicker.

We went there Saturday night at 9:30. The waitress told us they were closing. Even though there sign says open to 11:00. We had our family with us to enjoy games and football. We asked why they were closing early. She said they had a big day and they were tried. Wont go back for a long time. Service is usually horrible there anyway.

The check out guy was very unprofessional. He was large and kept leaning his whole body over theCounter to rest because he couldnt stand up long enough to check out more then a few things at a time.Clothes and hair not well kept

Getting very crowded at Kroger since Marsh closed. They have rearranged the produce department and that helps. Staff is always helpful. My concern is that shelves are not restocked quickly enough and some sale items are not available at all. Need to up the game to keep up with increased sales.

Visit to pharmacy was dissatisfactory. Prescriptions ordered on Friday will not be filled until Monday or tuesdaydue to lack of supply. Experienced this many times and will now explore other options.

Sale items in stock. Plenty of help on the floor, and at checkouts. A great model for other grocery stores to follow.

Its kroger, so they get 4 stars for that. 5 stars today because they have a big buy 5 sale going on right now. Pretty busy at 130p on a Sunday, but a little bigger in aisle width than most of the krogers around Indy.

The store was so busy with pre-winter storm shoppers but the staff was doing everything they could to make the experience more pleasant and convenient.

New to the area. After several visits to the Kroger store on Olio Rd in Fishers where my daughter shops, I was looking forward to shopping at our local Kroger when we moved to Greenfield from the Tampa Florida area. Needless to say, Im very disappointed in this Kroger. Shelves are not stocked, never can get everything on my list. Deli is terrible, no other brand of lunchmeat other than Kroger brand. Never enough employees at the registers. After living in Florida and shopping at Publix grocery stores, Kroger has a lot to learn about customer service

Hard to shop when there are no carts!! Its also hard to shop when order fillers are blocking the aisles. Big grocery chains are a joke shop locally if you still can.

They need to compliment their store better due to the closure of Marsh. It seems that they are not meeting the needs of the local public. Long lines, busy parking lot.

Kroger is just my store... always have a good experience with them.

If u want brand product good luck. The shelves are stuffed with Kroger product. Also are out of stock on many items.

I use Clicklist at Krogers. Clerks are friendly, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend their curb service. No more 45 minutes rolling up and down isles looking for items. Love Clicklist!

The store is just like most ordinary Kroger stores but as far as meat selection and the sushi/hot bar go they can be improved drastically. The store itself is good but compared to bigger Kroger it leaves a lot to be desired

The grocery store is fine, but the staff is very unprofessional.During our checkout process, the cashier Aaron admitted to having been ringing up items incorrectly all day, which made me a little nervous... And a girl with short, bright fuschia hair came over, blatantly ignoring the line of customers, and she starts griping to her coworkers about her awful day right in front of us. They all pretended we werent there even as they are ringing up and bagging our food. Devin was bagging, and she was also chatting away inappropriately.I cant believe employees can just stand around and talk like that in front of paying customers. So rude! Staff needs better training.

This place tends to have decent prices and sales. The employees are mostly friendly with some seeming to be apathetic towardscustomers. The sale prices tend to be equal to or better than Walmart, better than Marsh, and equal to or rare times better than Aldi. The produce department seems a bit more hit or miss if you will find fresh or one foot in the grave veggies. Not the best place for fresh lettuce or cilantro. The produce is fresh 60-70% of the time depending on what you are getting. The e-coupons and 123 Rewards card are great incentives to shop more. The customer best coupons, which come out a few times a year, are for specific items that you buy there and are wonderfully helpful. Unlike the other reviewer, I have never been hassled due to coupons, but I only use up to 3 per order. Overall, its a decent grocery store but could definitely use some improvement.
