Honestly this is the best dealership experience Ive ever had. Ask for Desean, hes one of the best employees to get you sorted out on any car that you want. Hes efficient and is upfront with everything you need to know and made the process really smooth. He goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help as much as possible. In addition, other employees inclusive of the managers will check up on you while youre waiting to make sure that youre having a great experience. 11/10 and they know they know their stuff.
The service staff at this location is top notch. I have been to the location on a couple different occasions and they were great. Very professional and prompt. Very satisfied. They informed me of what they were going to do and how things turned after they did their work.

I left Kia Battlegrounds service dept. I bought a 2020 Kia Soul new off their lot. My car was equipped with a deflector on the front. Two of the screws had come off and It wasn’t an issue until I was on the highway in Charlotte. I went to kia concord where they took it off (it was lifting itself off the front of the car because of wind).I called Kia battleground and they told me to replace 2 screws and to put the deflector back on, it would be a 200$ charge. Kia concord did it for free since car was still under warranty and only had 20k miles on it. Kia battleground service told me that since I took my car thru car washes, it wasn’t covered. I’m DONE with this place. The service has gone downhill and sales are not any better. No management…. I don’t want to call you to discuss this matter.
1- Mark Walters is the best advisor/person I have had to deal business with among your organization. He is a straight shot and works to take care of his customers. He is the shining light at this organization and was completely transparent each time I brought my vehicle.2- Recently, I have been very disappointed with having to use a Call-Center that is not even in the same state, to schedule my appointment. Was told I could not bring my vehicle by with a transmission concern without an appointment (When I called the dealership, did not get the persons name). This was 3 weeks ago. I had to spend over a hour on the phone with two separate calls because the first person in the Call-Center scheduled the wrong day on my email confirmation. I was told by this Call-Center they would have enough time with my appointment to have my transmission issue looked out with a routine oil change, So I took a day off work to have this addressed.3- Arriving today, I found out due to short-staffing, I would not be able to have my transmission issue looked at for another month due to backed up appointments. That seems odd to me considering I made an appointment for this reason. Appears the Call-Center made a big error when creating the correct appointment. The alternative is to drive my car making it worse or until it needs to be towed in. My vehicle is a 2021 Kia Sorrento with 13000 miles, for context. Should not be experiencing issues with it, despite having an extended warranty.4- Having a 1:00pm appointment, I expected my wait time for an oil change to not be drastically long since they said they are unable to spend any time diagnosing the transmission issue. My car was not moved inside until 1:50pm. The service was not completed until 4:00pm when I received the call it was ready to be picked up. While I was waiting in the lobby, one of the employees was inside vaping away at the front desk. Not exactly a professional look after this fiasco.5- In summary, I am very disappointed after today. Had an original issue with Kia of Burlington where I bought it that resulted in me seeking service at this location. I was never asked to sign anything and was not giving a sheet with explanation of my service in Burlington, which was very odd. Staff there were very short and rude. I feel that the priority with Kia is selling vehicles and getting your signature on the solid line with little regards to maintaining a relationship or efficient maintenance once that vehicle leaves the lot. There were only a handful of staff able to work on vehicles while there was double of sales personnel sitting in the front lot. I wish I could have foreseen this before purchasing a Kia.

The sales person threw out ridiculous #s before even knowing my score or income $400 for lease $3000 down then come up with a silly question not knowing I had brought a brand new kia from them in the past. It was Do you know how you can pay off your car quicker? Me how, him not knowing I paid off two cars in the past. You can make a payment every two weeks. 🤔 $400 once a month or $200 twice a month adds up to $400 unless he was telling me to pay $400 twice a month which is $800 for a lease which is no rent to own. Lease is pay and turn it in at the end of lease for a new lease or option to buy. It was no way I was sitting down with this guy when I told him I was on a fix income. Things have totally change for me and throwing out those kinda #s is good way to loss a customer. Lastly if any managers reading this tell your sales people to stay away from #s until they got the buyer at the sales desk and know their info.

I purchased my 2020 Sportage from Bob King Kia in Winston and had been going to get my services there. Every time I went, they tried to up-sale me on something, did not have good customer service and took forever just to change my oil.Yesterday I drove the few extra miles to give Battleground Kia a try and I will be coming here from now on. They were very busy when I got there for my 3:30 appointment but were all super nice and got me checked in quickly and had my oil change and tire rotation done in no time. When I paid, they did not try to get me to do extra things to my vehicle and they explained everything they did and answered all my questions. I will definitely be bringing my car here from now on. Overall a wonderful experience.
I purchased my car in January 2021, Ive experienced nothing but courtesy. This one service rep, my apologies I dont have his name young guy with glasses. He has always been professional and respectable he works well with customers and staff.

Worst car buying experience I ever had.1. After driving the car off the lot, 2017 vehicle, I hear squeaking from the brakes. I bring the car back, the maintenance guys says the brakes are down to the metal. So much for a 100 point inspection. They replace the brakes, and I now hear a whirling. Go back and they say they need to remachine the rotors. After that the brakes squeal again, the maintenance guys says I need better brake pads. When they are the ones that installed them from a mistake they made? I assume the squeal will go away after some time, it doesn’t. I take the car to a different shop for them to tell me the pads are at 30% and the rotors look like the were never machined.2. Told me they were giving me a $400 discount only to find out the finance guy added a $400 maintenance package to the sale and never mentioned it or gave me details about it. When I call, he says it’s for oil changes, but with not details of the terms. I come into the shop for an oil change and they say they don’t know about the maintenance package. I talk to the finance guy to find out they charged me $400 for 2, yes 2, oil changes.These guys don’t care about anything but money in and customers out.
They were very polite and gave my boyfriend a great deal on his new 2022 Kia Soul.

I was not pleased with my interactions with Battleground Kia. I requested a quote through Truecar. After receiving the quote, I was signed up for automated new vehicle emails from which I unsubscribed. I then received 3 more follow-up emails over the next 6 days. I asked to be unsubscribed since there was no unsubscribe link and received a reply that they would update their records. I then received emails on the 21st, 25th, and today the 28th. I replied to the 28th email asking to be taken off the list. I received a reply asking if I was still in the market for a vehicle. I then asked for all of my information to be deleted and not to be contacted again. I was then told that this was the first time I had contacted them. Despite me providing screenshots of the emails and my previous requests to be removed, Lauren chose to continue to claim that according to her records, the dealership has not been contacted in the past. Please note all members, owners, affiliates, employees and anyone else associated with Battleground Kia. I do not wish to be contacted again.

I always have a good experience at Battleground Kia for maintenance. One thing I loved is that, although I dropped my car off early at 8 am for my appointment, they were a bit backed up with other vehicles. Morgan got me taken car of and ordered a complimentary Uber drop off to work. She also scheduled a complimentary pick up to bring me back to get my car at 1 pm sharp on my lunch break.Mark called me before I picked up my car to let me know that they took care of the recalls on the vehicle parts and that I didnt need a tire rotation until the next visit. He always takes good care of my car and I whenever we come around and I really appreciate that about him.When I picked up my car, it was busy, but Morgan was so kind and let me know she would help me momentarily. Then I checked out, looked over upcoming possible services, got the breakdown of the paperwork, and was sent on my way.All in all, it is a relatively painless interaction and I never feel like anyone is trying to grab at my money. It just feels like they are trying to ensure that I am taken care of.
Me and my wife who actually works at the dealership got a used car from DaSean and it was the best experience of us buying a car DaSean was very cordial and courteous to us and our daughter he knew his ins and outs of the cars. I have never seen more incompetent, lazy people all in one place before. I was lied to about when someone would contact me, what information was available to them for availability of vehicles, and also about what was on the actual lot (Kendra). I spoke to a manger in person and he agreed with me about the incompetence but he never returned my call for follow up either. So, the leadership there is obviously breeding what it wants there just by example.And when I tried to address my concerns by phone, I was hung up on. Thanks DaShawn (sales) for hanging up so I could move on to purchase another ride with a better sales team at a completely different place.

Always pleased with the service dept when I am able to bring my Kia Soul in for maintenance. The ONLY issue Ive ever had with this location is that my Parents purchased a Kia Sportage shortly after I got my Soul and for some reason their computer system lumped their car in with mine. Making general communications with my parents in regards to service appointments and such annoying as I suddenly became a middle man. My recent service appointment, Mark Walters assisted me in attempting to fix the problem in separating my parents car from mine (along with actually looking over my car), so hopefully thats fixed as well. Its not enough to lose a star though, its just a weird bug in the system, but I its worth mentioning for the good service I received.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I was there Friday morning to see what kind of deal they could give me on my trade-in. These are the nicest group of people! I was nervous but as soon as I walked in the door I immediately relaxed. Its a friends and family environment. My husband and I went back after work that day and purchased a 2021 Sportage. We love it, but we love the deal we got and the WONDERFUL service just as much. Cliff is a great person. I feel like I made a new friend. We were laughing. He made it so easy. I honestly cant say enough. The financial part was also very easy.

The service center here is great! but please beware the sales side. went in to look at two cars advertised on the website, just to show up and get a halfhearted apology that they had “just sold those exact models the night before.” drove an hour for them to play in my face. i even asked before driving down if i would be able to test drive the car i selected online/if the car builds i wanted were still available. was told an immediate “yes” and that i should stop by asap if i wanted to test drive. was definitely disappointed and frustrated.
Not a good place to do business went in looking for a car for my daughter found one and waited hours to find financing so excited to get the car my daughter didn’t look at the paperwork was charged 1600 extra on the price a lot of extras she didn’t sign up for also going on 2 months and still haven’t received tags yet had 2 get another temporary tag wouldn’t come back ever always getting the run around

Disappointing! We went with an appointment to test drive a car. The salesman came back saying that the car had a lot of problems, so they have send the car to auction. Which is surprising since the car continues to be advertised on their website. A fraudulent way to get customers in!
Talked with one sales person at this dealership on a 2022 KIA carnival and was offered a quote of 4k over MSRP on the car and a low-ball trade-in quote. If you are looking for buying a kia at sticker price, dont waste your time here.

Ive been calling the past 3 days and no one had returned my call to give me a update on the status of my car is. ive left message after message and no return calls with any updates. Thats all im asking is just a update. yall gave me a rental car until today 7/5/21 but i cant return it if i dont have my car.
Ive bought two vehicles from this dealership. No pressure, no gimmicks, just negotiate a price. They seem to have a pretty good selection of new and used vehicles. Service has always been pleasant and easy to deal with.
They keep texting me telling me they can get me approved but every time I go up there they always have an excuse for not getting me approved. Don’t go here unless you have A1 credit

My wife and I were window shopping online for a new compact suv. We discovered Battleground Kia matched all the things we were looking for. The price was right, safety features included as standard option was fantastic. Financing was smooth and painless. Ryan, our sales rep was awesome! He polite, knowledgeable and very thorough explaining the Battleground Kia way and the many features especially the safety features of this car . Once we explained what we wanted Ryan rolls up with a car for a test drive. I joked earlier and told Ryan my goal today was to drive a new car off the lot so you can put a 2022 on the lot. We drove away in a 2021 Kia Soul S. Thank all of you at Battleground Kia . Job well done.
Various problems with Battleground Kia. I wasnt going to leave a negative review but after this latest problem I have to. I purchase a 2020 Sportage from them in April. When we showed up for our appointment we were ready to do business. We test drove the car and were ready to make a decision. They tried to charge me almost $1000 for fees that the dealership has to pay to get the car to their lot. That is a business cost not a customer cost. I confronted them and they dropped it. Then the salesperson would not give me my interest rate. He showed me what the payments would be instead, when I had asked him directly what the interest rate would be. Shady practices to distract me from my question. They were short-staffed and so I ended up having to wait almost 2 hours to work with financing to finalize my sale. When I got into finance the price had actually jumped by $1000 from the out the door price I had been given, to certify the vehicle, which was NEVER discussed with me. After waiting for almost 2 hours imagine how I felt to find that out - SURPRISE. I would have gone elsewhere had I known that and couldve bought a brand new care for the same price. After finding out that my interest rate was at least a full percent higher than my credit actually qualified for I refinanced with my bank. Well it turns out that this dealership never even sent the title to the first finance company, so now I am having to track it down myself. This dealerships practices are the reason everybody has a low opinion of used car salesmen to begin with. It holds no integrity. It was a slimy experience and this should get somebodys attention. To allow your business to operate that way while you make excuses is beyond underhanded.
Service department was quick with my free recall and the oil change was fairly priced. Will be returning for future appointments
Horrible car buying experience. I purchased a car from them last month and since we drove off the lot it has been one headache after another. The window tint was scratched off during cleaning. Getting this fixed was a major pain. It took all week to get them to schedule me an appointment and then call me the day of asking me to bring in my car right now and leave it overnight. There was no communication regarding my car status, and I was blantly ignored by salesman Ryan who was supposed to be helping me. I had to escalate the situation after waiting hours for a call back. I expressed my frustration multiple times and asked to speak to a manager 3 times and got no apology or even a call from a manager! This is the third car I have purchase and I can say confidently it was the absolute worst. I will never take my car to this place for service and will never purchase another one. It felt like a football locker room and I have been laughed at by the salesman. I will never recommend them.

My motor blew on my 2015 Kia Optima in May 2921, and I called Battleground Kia and asked them if there were any recalls by any chance and I explained my situation and they told me to bring my car in and let them look at it because there was an extended warranty and they would check it for me. Well they called me within 24hrs and told me they would be replacing my motor under warranty and had already booked me a reservation for a rental car without me even asking. They were amazing and never gave me a hard time and with a cost so expensive they were kind enough to show me that my safety was there priority and making sure they took care of something that they truly gave me a hard time about. There customer service and service daoartnent were so kind and great to me. I will make sure after this experience that Kia will always get priority when deciding on buying new cars in the future. They truly were amazing and I’m eternally great full and thank ful to them. THEIR THE BEST!!!!❤️

I came into Battleground Kia after doing an online credit approval. I knew what I wanted and what I did not want. Chris was the sales person and he was FANTASTIC!! I mean I told him what I was looking for as far as a monthly payment and he have me look at cars that was in my budget. I actually came in with the expectation of buying a used car that I saw online. But Chris asked me how I felt about buying a brand new car and it made sense, why pay $300+ a month for a 2/3 year old car and get a brand new car with the same payment. Well Chris hooked me up and I am very excited as this is my first brand new car. Battleground Kia was recommended to me and I recommend this place to anyone especially first time car buyers. Chris is a great sales person and he made sure to introduce me to the service department. And he is a great people person who will have you look at cars in your budget and not try to push you in something that you cant afford. This place is great!!! I love my 2017 Kia Forte!!!
