This bagel shop was very good, My wife and I were in the Greensboro area, and I started looking up bagel shops.. This was the highest rated (and for good reason) So we went here.. my wife and I were impressed (so much so she decided to buy bagels for my whole family) lol and their home made cream cheese. She got the cinnamon bagel which was amazing! I got the everything bagel with bacon egg and cheese. It was good as well. I will be coming back soon! Thanks for the awesome bagels!

Feels just like a NY bagel place and tastes as close as I suppose you can without importing the water or something haha! They are a bit smaller then NY and maybe a bit less flavorful possibly cause of the size idk but great place pumping out the flavors here!!

Ordered 2 Bacon Egg and Cheese bagels with extra bacon- paid extra for the extra bacon and let’s just say, it’s the wimpiest display of “extra” I’ve ever seen. This isn’t the first time this has happened here either. Note to management- when a customer pays extra for something, please provide. It almost makes me feel like whoever made it was just being a jerk on purpose.

Have some respect for your doordash drivers. We’re only making your business more money. Why do I have to wait in line for 10 minutes while you serve customers when your customers food that I’m picking up is ready to go?And to force dashers to confirm pickup in front of you? As if your $2 bagel is worth losing my job. Do you ask other pickup customers for their ID to confirm their order? Didn’t think so.

Okay, maybe Im not a bagel expert but Ive eaten a ton of them in my life, from a whole bunch of places. These are really good - both the flavors and the texture. Just made a tuna sandwich on their rosemary olive oil bagel and it was delicious. The bagel really made it.

I grew up eating NY bagels and South Florida bagels, the best in the country IMO, and the bagels here bring back that amazing nostalgic taste of my youth! It feels so lucky to have this shop in Greensboro, a totally unexpected gem.As to the service, it seems in line with the NY roots - not rude at all, but not going out of their way to be overly warm either, seems like you get what you give, NY style.Also the pimento cheese is excellent, not bad for a bunch of New Yawkers!

The bagels are really good...we ordered off of uber eats and there was a small problem...but new garden bagels went above and beyond to fix the issue. Be very specific when ordering from uber eats. I will definitely order again. Thanks New Garden bagel, everything was great.

I ordered a breakfast baggel egg and bacon. The service was fast, it took me one minute from the store to my car and the baggel was super cold, not a tasty baggel.

I’m from NY and this was my first time trying out this place, not only were the ladies extremely friendly and also from NY but the bagels were on point!!! I almost regret finding it because bread is my enemy . This place is so worth the carbs. I loved it and so did my kids. I will definitely be back to get more bagels!!!

This has to be one of the best places to get a bagel, period. Their desserts are good as well. Fast and excellent customer service, a varied menu, good quality food at an accessible price... its practically made to attract regulars.Another thing... they do mail order bagels. Anywhere in the US.For those of you from New England, the atmosphere here reminds me of those places that you would run into at places near the cities... kinda like Suffolk or Nassau Counties in NY.

Finally, we found a great spot!! We had a sausage, egg and n cheese on a Garlic toasted bagel!!🤤🤤And it was great! Thank you for courtesy and wonderful service🤩🤩 (Only give credit where credit due))!!!

In my opinion this is the best bagel shop in Greensboro! I ordered a 1/2 dozen variety of bagels and a container of bacon scallion cream cheese. My guest and I had two canned drinks with the order which totalled just over $13.00. When I told the clerk that we were going to dine in, she offered us baskets to set our food in. Kudos for making the offer!There was a steady flow of customers the entire time we sat in the store and ate. Ive seen the staff here consistently handle the volume of customers without ever making them feel rushed.My everything bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese was amazing. Because I was there while bagels were being freshly made they were over the top delicious! Theyre always delicious but Ive never gotten them when they were still warn. Yum!

The food here is consistently fantastic! A wonderful little spot without all the bells and whistles. It’s one of the only places left that isn’t some big chain charging insane amounts for a cup of coffee. I highly support New Garden Bagels! 10/10!

Speaking as someone from NYC, this was hands down the best bagel place in not only Greensboro, but all of North Carolina.Sadly they are under new ownership, and the changes in service and quality are blatantly obvious from both my experience, and others.This is just another bagel shop at this point. One where the service leaves a lot to be desired, and the quality of bagels are quickly on their way to matching store brand.

Theres no question the bagels are delicious, reminds me of my favorite NY bagel when growing up. Reason for only one star points to something much more which Ive experienced on more than one occasion. Theres to different types of service, one for brown people and friendly service for others. Not a joke or exaggeration. Ive witnessed twice. I wont be back., no patience for this type of exchange.

Come here if you want delicious bagel sandwiches and a consistently sub-par customer service experience.Heres a few minuses:Weve never been able to get through on the phone.The line is always a mess - folks out the door, wrapping around the dining area, ducking over to get something from the drink case and smushing back in line, etcIt seems like every staff person there takes orders in their own way - one person might ask you about your first sandwich and then head off and start making it and then return and ask you about your second sandwich, another staff might write it all down and then get to making it.No guidance on where to go after you make your order, just kind of duck away into the corner and hope your staff remembers what you look like to usher you up to pay when its time.They dont seem to keep enough coffee supplies around, often out of lids, creamer is awkwardly in the fridge. Just give us individual creamers, especially during a pandemic! Guess Ill take mine black.Anyway, well keep going back, budgeting more time than we need and enjoying great bagels. NGB, if youre reading this, a little signage for the line, a second phone line and a staff huddle every once in a while couldnt hurt!

Cream cheese flavors and texture is so good here. They aren’t stingy with it either. Had people visit me from Asheville last weekend (but grew up in New Jersey which apparently has great bagels) and said these bagels are the greatest. They can’t find anything like it where they live. Also Tamara who works there is the BEST and I love to see her when I come in for my bagels.

I drive 15 mins to try this place for the first time. I wasn’t entirely disappointed. Bagels are amazing! Just got a bacon egg and cheese and it was super good. The coffee selections could’ve been better. I didn’t feel too comfortable with the “self serve” coffee option, especially with covid going around.The coffee containers looked old and ashy. The experience wasn’t the best but the food was good.

If you’re still getting your bagels from Panera or Brueggers, do yourself a favor and try this place. I previously thought a bagel was a bagel, but boy was I wrong. Personal favorites are the sausage, egg, and spicy pimento cheese on egg everything, as well as their lox.

I ordered a few bagels today and ate them, one of them seemed undercooked and now I am sick to my stomach throwing up, the spreads said they expired on 8/3 but I didn’t see that until it was too late, I think your bagels made me sick

Update, visited this store today. Servers had gloves, mask, and were very pleasant. Bagels were consistently fresh and delicious.No plastic gloves or face masks while servicing orders. Good bagels, fast in and out service.

This place is too good. They keep fresh bagels in so many options. I had a dozen variety last time and loved each option. I just ordered a breakfast bagel with home fries. Im expecting it will also be excellent. Service is fast and friendly.

The bagels were a little stiff, the tomato basil didn’t have any flavor it tasted like a plain bagel, my plain bagel had something spicy in the cemetery it got in contact with. They just weren’t that great of bagels. Flavors of other bagels did not match up. They all taste like plain bagels really. I found that very odd.

Went here for the first time because Id heard from a co-worker thats a bagels were good. I got there towards the end of the day so the selection wasnt as good as it would have been earlier, but I did get some good bagels to try out. The bagels are crusty and flavorful. The price is better then a few other places Ive tried around town. I got their cream cheese but I probably wont get that again because I didnt think it was special enough to pay the price. I will definitely be going back.

Highly highly dissatisfied. I ordered a half a dozen of bagels and a tub of cream cheese along with 2 breakfast sandwiches for delivery. They called me after my order to tell me none of the bagels I had ordered were available- I compromised and just requested what they had available. Bagels arrived an hour later with no cream cheese.. I’m sorry but how do you forget a tub of cream cheese when you are a bagel shop???I called and they said “well you can come and pick another one up from our store”. I told them I would be out later and come pick it up. I got there and the store was closed 2 hours before there posted time. How come no one informed me of this when I was on the phone with them?Terrible customer service I will take my business somewhere else.

Would have totally given this spot 5 stars, but was very unhappy to see the people preparing food were not wearing masks. Due to COVID19 i feel as if it is imperative that people in food service to cover their face and nose to stop the spread of coronavirus and protect the people coming to this store to purchase made to order food. Nun the less I went against my better judgment and still ordered a bagel and cream cheese, bagel chips and plemento cheese dip and it was amazing.

Consistently delicious! My family goes there probably three times a month, it is the perfect weekend breakfast. I wish they delivered! My husband is a born and raised New Yorker and approves - 5 stars!

Very uncomfortable place to visit. The food was good, but the service was below a zero. I will not be returning here ever again! The woman behind the counter was awfully rude. As if I was unconvincing her by being there. Treating me like I was an idiot and very short coming. Then to top it off, I caught the man behind the counter staring at my breasts. Like I said, food was great experience was awful. I would not recommend coming here. There’s other places that treat you much better. And p.s. ladies cover up.

Though tiny enough to preclude dining in and not the cheapest option ($1.09/bagel or $13.08/bakers dozen), New Garden Bagels offers the best bagels Ive encountered so far in the Triad. The consistency (crisp outside, chewy inside) is spot-on. New Garden stocks more than a dozen varieties of bagels at any given time, and there is usually a good mixture of sweet (cinnamon crunch, blueberry, chocolate chip) and savory (garlic, onion, salt, tomato basil) as well as several types of everything (egg, wheat, and traditional) bagels. There are also at least ten cream cheeses including lox, all of which, like the bagels, are made in-house. Staff are patient and accommodating of the indecisive. Though a bakers dozen + cream cheeses has been my default order, New Garden also offers a few sandwiches (Taylor ham, whitefish salad, sliced lox) that I will have to try the next time I start feeling nostalgic for home.

After coming back from a work trip up North, where I first tried fresh Bagel with whitefish, I was HOOKED. I immediately got home and went online to search for a local restaurant that served whitefish. I looked everywhere, called a lot of bagel shops and was told they dont do it anymore....UNTIL I saw a review on New Garden Bagels that said something about whitefish. I automatically drove there after work before they closed and there it was! I ordered two for my fiance and I and after that, he was also hooked. It was VERY good and very close to the one I ate up north! I will always come back here for the Bagel and whitefish! Great service as well!!

The bagels are hot and fresh, so I cannot take that away from them; however, this is the only bagel place I’ve been to in 10+ years that doesn’t have hummus as an available option. With the number of various cream cheeses available, I was very disappointed.

Ive been craving a good bagel for a couple days. Im also very picky because I grew up around some really awesome bagel shops. This place really surprised me. They have a variety of bagels and spreads to choose from. I tend to get overwhelmed when I have a lot of options but the staff was super friendly and helped me pick out a tasty bagel! My husband also loved this bagel and we decided to purchase a bag of their bagel chips (which are also fabulous)! Definitely coming back to this place so I can try everything!
