First and LAST TIME at this store! I went in to smell with the intention of possibly buying a new fragrance. The staff greeted me and then one girl stood on the perfume aisle watching me like a hawk like I was going to steal something! I didnt even stay long to buy anything. Completely disgusted! If I wanted too, I could have pulled out my credit card and purchased every perfume on the shelf!

Clean and has all brands. The staff are very kind and helpful. When asked about a basic skin care routine, someone very honestly helped us out without trying to sell us any specific product. Loved that! Will come back again

Good selection of top brands. I like how you can easily find the brand you are looking for. The employees were super friendly in helping me find the right color match for a new foundation. Some items are kinda pricey, but worth it. They should have more than two people working the check outs, though!

Had an amazing experience with Melanie! She was patient, outstanding customer service, and above all helpful. As someone who does not wear nor know much about makeup she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed into the store sharing her knowledge while having a great time.

Whether that be getting the best exfoliators, face washes, makeup, perfumes, among so many other options that Sephora has. Came on Vday and the girls were so sweet and helpful!! Love the cleanliness and organization of this store, as well as the overall experience. Nobody’s on your back, hoarding over you or following you, and trying to sell you something. You can simply just grab a basket, shop freely, grab your necessities and go.

I went here yesterday and the staff were so rude I wasn’t asked if I needed help and then when I went to check out the woman didn’t say a word to me she also never gave me a bag so I had to carry all my stuff out with no bag

Literally I JUST left the store and I don’t think I have ever had such a great experience at a Sephora in my life. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. All the other Sephora stores need to take notes. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Wish I could give 0 stars...One thing about this time of the pandemic...it allows us to see individuals true natures. In my case, I have had multiple bad experiences with the clerks at this location. They are DISRESPECTFUL and enjoy their power to make your shopping experience as negative as possible. I am done and will not return. Thankfully, there are other stores very close to this one who sell what I needed and were polite to boot. Who cares about all the points I have accumulated over the years shopping here; it is not worth the experience of returning.

Everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable, but Megan is next level. She has never given me a bad recommendation in all my years of shopping here. I’m an avid online shopper but I go out of my way to come to the store to see her, because not only is she knowledgeable and talented but just seeing her makes my day as well :)

Never been to one before. Knew exactly what I was looking for, but couldnt find it. Finally caved and asked for help and it was found in an instant. She knew exactly what I was talking about from the description I gave. Once the item was located, I was checked out of the store quickly. Plan to go back soon

The staff is very friendly and very clean environment! I’ve always had a hard time finding the right concealer to match my skin tone, and Lisette was wonderful in assisting me! She made sure I was happy with the products being used—asking if I was allergic to anything or preferred more natural products. Every time I go in, the staff is always in a great mood. Highly recommend and 5 star for sure!

Associates at this location are always really nice and helpful. Right now due to Covid you have to wait outside in the heat if a certain number of people are in the store but there is an associate that waits outside with the customers as well. Even as things are changing theyre still really great! Makeup expensive as always but thats to be expected. Lol

I love Sephora but I went about 10 mins before close and knew what I was looking for but the lady wouldn’t let me in. She told me to come back tomorrow. When I explained that I knew what I needed she said sorry we open at 11am tomorrow. I’ve worked in retail before and you do not close until the hour. Horrible experience

Ok the same thing happened to me as the lady that previously left a review stated. I came about 10 minutes before closing but knew what I needed so I would be in and out. The woman at the door literally wouldn’t let me in the door. Sephora I’ve had it with you. You’ve lost a loyal customer. I’ll intentionally be purchasing my products directly from my favorite brands or using Macy’s or Ulta instead.

This is a beautiful store, and some of the time you get lucky and get a friendly sales associate to help you, but I cannot tell you the number of times I have been either ignored or hovered over, its most of the time this way. It appears that most of the staffs attention is directed towards the young, hip, cool girls., I imagine they believe this is the group buying and spending, not the 58 yr. old. In addition, I certainly understand loss prevention efforts.....but, really, its a little overboard in there most times. They will all man at strategic points, following you all through the store, it is highly annoying . I try to limit my trips to maybe every few months, would love to visit often, but its just not worth the hassle and discomfort.

I went during a week day morning (so not a busy time) looking to sample a few products, but the staff seemed more interested in talking among themselves when I walked in than helping me. One of the worked showed me to an item and got the sample ready for me, but when I was going to ask for other recommendations from her, she was already walking back to her co-workers. She was friendly when I did get the couple of minutes with her, but I was disappointed in the lack of attention to a paying customer for a store chain that has the reputation for helping customers, trying out samples, etc.

These people can NOT color match! Does Sephora just hire anyone? If I’m coming in there to get help from makeup “experts” than I would hope to come out there happy and not have to keep returning foundations that do NOT MATCH MY NECK AT ALL!

I have always had great experiences here at this Sephora! When you walk in you are greeted by friendly, smiling employees who offer you a bag and assist you with any questions you may have. You can tell they truly care about makeup, and most are very helpful when getting color matched or offering their opinion on certain products! The store and sample products are usually kept clean, but sometimes they can be dried out and need to be rotated more often. And for those of you complaining about rude employees...DONT COME IN AND HANG AROUND PAST THE TIME THEY CLOSE. YOU KNOW WHEN THEY OPEN AND CLOSE.

I went into this branch of Sephora the other day with one of my rescue kittens. I needed to run in quickly and I wasnt about to leave him in the car. He is a special needs kitten and I have to keep him with me. I called ahead and asked if it was ok to bring him in with me and the person on the phone said it was fine. They were professional and courteous during my entire visit. And, extremely helpful, considering I had only 1 hand free due to holding him. They went out of their way to help me. I HIGHLY recommend this branch! I appreciate what they did for me that day.

Never displeased with my shopping experience at this location. Customer service there is awesome. Cant find something, just ask. They will help you find it and if they dont have it, will tell you where to go to get it.

Bought a DR skincare kit from Sephora in four seasons. When I was there the girl told me I could return it to any Sephora. Then when I go to the friendly Sephora I ask if I can return my DR kit that I got from the Sephora in four seasons and she told me yes as long as I have my receipt and it’s within 30 days.A day later I come back to Sephora in friendly to return my DR purchase. Another lady proceeds to tell me that they can’t give me a refund but only store credit. When I asked her why is that she tells me because it’s “just what the computer tells her to do”.There is clearly a bunch of miscommunication with the employees and the Sephora policy. She didn’t even give me a chance to tell her that I would take it back to the Sephora in four seasons. No apology or sorry for the misunderstanding.A little disappointed in how much this store has gone downhill. I hope they can learn to better communicate with the other employees and customers.

This store is usually a nice location with friendly staff members. Today I encountered an extremely RUDE employee. Her name was Debbie. As I was walking in, she abruptly told me leave and that it was 6:00 and the store was closed. I advised her I was only picking up one item. She didn’t care and continued to state the store was closed. Needlessly to say, I won’t be coming back to this location to encounter Ms DISRESPECT unprofessional Debbie who obviously missed the training in customer service.

I had such a great visit to this location. I was in there to look at the Fenty beauty products and unlike some other stores they actually had a good selection. So the cashier was very helpful to me and once I told her I was purchasing some gifts for my 10 year old daughter who wants to be a future designer she threw in a few extra samples which made it really special. I thoroughly enjoyed coming and cant wait to visit Sephora again.

Came in to just look around, all of the employees were so helpful and positive. All of the associates I spoke with were super friendly and just provided overall great customer service.

I used to love this store, and most of the staff is friendly. Unfortunately one extremely rude employee has ruined it for me. It was right at closing time (6pm), and she aproached me and said we need to leave if we arent buying anything. I told her we were buying two lipsticks, but my husband would be back in just a second with his wallet. She told me that that wasnt acceptable and told my children and I to leave immediately. What a terrible woman. I have no idea how she is allowed to work at such a reputable store. I will never be back.

If you have an attitude while doing your job to serve customers, please go find another job.I came to return things several times because I was traveling and buying too many things and comparing products. Apparently they dont tolerate that here.Mind you, I am a Sephora insider and this is how Im treated. But theres also the possibility that it was just me and they discriminate against people who look like me.They intentionally make you exchange items so if you return them you only get store credit. So be careful and always make your transactions separate with a different receipt. Cz if you try to explain youre wasting their precious time and will only be disappointed for being mistreated.Ulta however were very friendly and did there job well no matter how many times I came back. No attitude issue there, just a simple return.In all fairness tho, Sephoras beauty experts are very friendly and super helpful. Its just the cashiers.

I had a reservation for a foundation matching, as I finally decided to splurge on some makeup and revamp my makeup routine. I arrived to my reservation early, so I walked around the store. Several friendly associates would check up on me to make sure I didnt need help. When it was time to sit down to discuss foundation, Lissette was my artist. She is AMAZING. When she heard I was trying to figure out products to wear for my wedding in a few months, she immediately lit up and got excited. She offered to show me how to do a full face of makeup, which I was more than happy to learn! A 20 minute appointment turned into over an hour appointment because she truly took the time to explain each product, why she was using it, and why that step really helped with the overall look of my makeup. Other associates would stop by to help too and offer advice. Honestly it was just an awesome experience. I walked out of Sephora with products that matched my skin tone perfectly and the knowledge of how to use those products. I have a Sephora 10 minutes away from my house, but from now on I will drive the nearly 40 minute drive just to come to this one. Everyone was amazing, from the moment i walked in the door. And the store was quite crowded, but as I was sitting getting my makeup done, I was able to watch associates check on every person in the store. Everyone was attentive and helpful. Will be looking forward to spending more money here!

I scheduled my very first visit for full makeup session at Sephora thru the online scheduling tool. I was greeted by several associates upon entering. The entire process was easy and affordable. My makeup artist Diona was fabulous. She paid attention to detail in matching my makeup to accent my attire. She transformed me into a glamorous beauty queen in just one hour in time for my birthday celebration. The entire store displayed teamwork as she didnt have to leave me at anytime because other associates were able to bring anything extra that was needed. They also were encouraging to Diona praising the work she had done. Thank you all at the Greensboro Sephora at Friendly for making me feel special for a special day!!

I went Into this shop looking for a particular shade of liquid lipstick, the staff was blocking the area I needed to get to having a full blow conversation, rather than moving or stopping the conversation they kept blocking the area... I eventually got over there area and found that the shade I wanted was gone. I choose another shade. Every-time I go Into this store the employees seem to have an attitude and they don’t offer much help. Also they are often out of products even when they aren’t anywhere near new to the market. Personally if a lot of the brands were not exclusive to the store I would go to ulta. But there is always online ordering....

And then someone came to put some foundations on me it took them 2min give me simple ñ I walked out. It was very rude person. Because I was planning to buy foundation not get simple of it. She didnt even let me see if I like it on my skin or not which was very rude. Never buying it from here!

I was welcomed into the store but after that not one person ever offered to help me...? I walked around the store for an hour hoping to find someone to help me with a new foundation. It was a Saturday and they had a large staff but I ended up just swatching colors myself in the hopes one works out. Ive noticed a lot of Sephora employees seem to cater to people who come in with (full makeup faces) rather than those who come in without makeup. I wear a considerable amount of makeup on the regular but today I went in bare face so my skin could relax and I could hopefully be color foundation matched. I dont know if the employees think people who come in without makeup dont know what they are doing or what but wouldnt that make you want to help them more??? The only reason I give 2 stars is because Sephora carries great products in a wide range just wish that the employees would actually ask if people needed assistance.

Up until 9/6/2017 my experience at Friendly Center Sephora has always been awesome. Last night was the worst. The young lady that was sent to provide me with a sample did just that she gave a sample of one of the products I was looking at but acted like she didnt have time to answer any of my questions. When she gave me the sample she brought it back to me without any printout. I asked if I could have a printout which is what I usually receive because I have very sensitive skin and I often have to try a sample of something before I purchase it. I asked a question about why the product was cheaper at their competitors and she said we dont price shop, well that wasnt my question why would you assume thats what I wanted! I have shopped in Sephora long enough to know better. I asked her did she not have time to answer my questions because she acted very standoffish and she said I cant just be with one customer all the time I just got here how did that even apply. I have never received less help any other time I came to this location which I preferred over any others until last night. I was so angry that I was treated so poorly I cannot put into words the total lack of quality customer service I received. I was very upset and had it not been for speaking with Rhoda the manager before I left as I was with a friend I would never purchase anything in that store again. That is the level of distaste I have for the treatment I received the previous night. How do you look at someone and judge what kind of customer they are and if theyre worth spending time on to help. The fact that it still angers me as I write this review tells me I probably will not visit Sephora again. Maybe I should just order from their competitor.

I had a dissapointing day at Sephora yesterday. I am trying to pic out wedding makeup for my wedding on October 31st. I went to this store last Sunday on the 22. I was in the store for at least 30 min. No one greeted me. No one helped me. I ended up leaving and going to Ulta. They helped me within 10 min. And I made my purchase there. Really disappointed Sephora. I have spend thousands of dollars there and honestly would have expected more of an effort.

This place is great, so easy to get lost in and they are usually pretty well stocked to be so busy (not something I can say about Ulta). They also have lots of great items and they are amazing about givng you samples to try and if its not in stock guess what they cam order it for you online and will send it to your house with free shipping!! (All things Ive never had anyone at Ulta offer to do) I prefer this place to Ulta in every way except 1, and thats the fact that Ulta does give you more coupons to use and you earn points towards free goods/monwy off of any item you want. Sephora has a good point/rewards as well but the items you get to choose from is limited and you dont get as many coupons. But if they changed those 2 things they would rule the makeup industry! 💙😍🌟💄z

I walked into sephora 3 days ago and I was looking for a nude lipstick matching my complexion. I asked a lady that was standing there doing nothing near the front if she could help me find my color. She told me that I had to be on wait before she could help me. I stood there waiting for 40 minutes without help and then a male came in and asked if she could help them find eyeliner and she was quick to help them. I was so dissapointed that I actually went to Ulta and they gave me better service and I was able to find my item.

Went in here to buy anatasia dipbrow in ebony. I have researched this product for months and already know i needed this color for my jet black hair. I asked the lady literally standing there watching me for help and she said i needed to be added to a list to get my brows done. I told her i just have a question about my hair matching this. And she talked over me and said I needed to join the list. What list???? She never even offered to take my name. She continued to stand there blankly, doing nothing. I walked out. Going to ulta. The better store anyway. Also, she walked off to a white couple with the same issue who lierally walked in after me. Like????

Might depend on what brand you want, but the variety seems to be lacking. That wont stop the employees from looking diligently or finding an acceptable replacement.
