Always fast friendly service

Decided to give Interstate a try a few years ago when the Walmart near East Cone Blvd. in Greensboro, NC wouldnt honor their warranty and Im so glad I did. I get the new batteries for my wife and daughters cars, and the econo refurbished ones for mine. The Interstate staff have always given me great service. So, thanks to the rude jerk of a Walmart manager I found one of the best companies Ive ever dealt with.

Truly a better place to buy large batteries. You can get reconditioned batteries for between $50 and $59 or new for varying prices. Theres a phone number on the door, you place your order, and they bring your items out and load them into your car. Doesnt get any easier than that. I have probably bought 15 batteries from this location. It is definitely my go to for large batteries.

There is a sign on the door to call inside as the door remains locked as of this review on 6-9-2020. I spoke with Scott. Call was answered very quickly and politely. Answered all of my questions and had matches for batteries within a few seconds. There were quite a few different options, more than most places you will go to.I trust Interstate; they have good warranties and just last. A good lengthy warranty says a lot. Add that up with friendly people and you have quality products and services.They can be more expensive in some areas such as AGM batteries, however, there is usually a really cheap refurbished battery available. Everyone has their opinions on this, but I personally never had an issue.

Batterys were recharged and only worked one day.

Helpful and nice

Beware of the Econo Power batteries, which sell for $55 and have a warranty of 30 days. These are used batteries and in many cases will not last very long. Ive bought 4 in the past year and was told not to worry if I had problems as they would take care of it. One failed within 2 weeks and it was replaced. Another failed in the 1st month and it had to be replaced twice before I had a good one. I bought one late last year and another in January - both have now failed. When I returned to get these replaced I was told that since it was over 90 days from the time of purchase they could not do anything to help me other than sell me a replacement at their cost of $45. Ive made numerous trips due to the warranty related problems but this was ignored on my most recent request. I will purchase new batteries going forward - online I found that new batteries at Walmart sell for around $55 and they have a 1 year warranty.

Best place to get the best batteries. Interstate makes top quality, long lasting batteries. This is the distribution center. Quick, friendly service. If you dont mind installing the battery yourself, they have the best prices. If the price of new is too steep, or youre not planning on keeping the auto for long they have low prices on refurbished batteries. They also give you $15 for your old battery. Its the only place I buy auto batteries.

Their used batteries are worthless! Theyre ok in the warmer months but all used batteries Ive gotten are useless in the winter. Ive bought 2 used batteries in September only to find now in November theyre both dead and cannot crack in colder weather.
