We hired Baked Downtown and Taylor to bake the wedding cake for our daughters wedding in January 2021. From the initial tasting in the Spring to the first cut at the ceremony, we were so pleased with the taste and design of the cake that Taylor provided. When our daughter first visited her studio a sample display grabbed her eye. The taste of her samples solidified her decision. We highly recommend Baked Downtown to anyone searching for a wonderful centerpiece at your reception. After all, at the ceremony everyone wants to see the bride. At the reception, everyone wants to see the cake.

Taylor, the owner and main baker, is extremely talented and very sweet. All the baked goods I’ve tried are delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The coffee is great as well. (I highly recommend trying their take on pop tarts. So good.)

Very disappointed in my experience with baked downtown. Looking through the website and the creations made I just knew this would be the perfect place to get my sons birthday cake made. I requested a sonic sheet cake that I was told they couldn’t do so opted for cupcakes with sonic toppers instead. Upon pick up (the day of the party) I was disappointed the sonic toppers were a different color blue then the image I sent in for pricing and the cupcakes looked underwhelming. I mentioned this to the girl at the counter but did say it’s sonic nonetheless as I was determined to deliver on my son’s ask and have a good day. Everyone at the party complained how the cake was dry, and the kids didn’t really want them either, which is unusual for my bunch. I was planning to return for my own birthday to try the champagne cupcakes but of course I will not. Just really overall not pleased. Don’t know if these baked too long or weren’t freshly made before pick up but hate this was the bakery I went with.

I have been getting cakes and desserts from the owner, Taylor, for years for every special occasion I’ve had, including my wedding. Each order was custom and it is seriously amazing how well she is able to understand exactly what you are asking for and create just what you wanted. Talented is an understatement! The shop is great-they do the custom cakes in addition to other baked goods like breads, cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cookies and they even have some lunch items. And they have great coffee-the lattes are the best. By far the best bakery around!

Taylor knows her stuff, and the staff have always been extremely personable and helpful. My wife and I have never had a bad item from Baked, and would specifically recommend the macarons or house made pop tarts! Baked is a welcome addition to downtown and my wife and I always look forward to swinging by!

I really like this place. It has a wide arrangement of baked goods. I like the cookies and cupcakes, but the cakes are the best. They also have freshly baked bread. The owner also makes custom party cakes that are awesome. She has a lot on her Instagram. She is awesome. I highly recommend Baked Downtown.

I cant get enough of croissants. My favorite is the spinach and feta croissants. Me and my co-workers bought a little of everything this morning and we loved it all.The owner is sweet as cookies. She is very pleasant and I I just love the space.

I was very excited to hear about the bakery downtown. This past Saturday I made a visit and purchased the sourdough bread, almond croissant, butter croissant and a danish. I wish I had been visiting the bakery the minute it opened. I plan to visit it as much as possible. It is obvious the pride they take in their goods. I was impressed with the quality of what I purchased and cant wait to try more.

Taylor has made birthday cakes for our daughter, and she never disappoints! We give her a theme our daughter has requested, and Taylor’s creativity and imagination start the magic. The cakes are always gorgeous and above and beyond my expectations. And the best part: they are just as delicious as they are beautiful! I highly recommend For Goodness Cakes!!

Taylor made my baby shower cake and the following year made my sons first birthday cake and smash cake.They were both a huge hit: they looked amazing and were delicious!! Its turned into a birthday tradition, cant wait to have her make his 2nd birthday cake!! :)

Every thing in there smells amazing, they are doing our wedding cake 😁😁 and me and the misses couldnt be happier, they let us try the flaovor they used in the cooking competition (apple rum cake) and it mad me see stars. I dont know how they didnt win. 🙌🙌🙌 also the coffee is outstanding.

Where do I begin with For Goodness Cake? Lets get the easy part out of the way: the cake is DELICIOUS. Every single kind. My wife and I tried 4 different types of cake by Taylor, and every single one was so good that we requested all 4 as separate layers on our wedding cake! The cake has gotten us so many compliments to this day. My wife routinely reminds me about how she cant wait until our 1 year anniversary to eat the leftover cake that we froze. I could talk for days about how good the cake was, but other than just taste, the entire display was incredible. As a wedding videographer, I see plenty of wedding cakes. I may be biased but ours takes the cake! Thank you to Taylor and For Goodness Cake for the incredible customer service and for being a crucial part of our perfect wedding day!

I am already very disappointed. I have been calling for two days and left three messages. I’m trying to have a cake made for my son’s fourth bithday party. I have looked at the website and was very impressed with the cakes they have made, but unfortunately the fact that I can not even get a call back seems a little unprofessional to me. I have a birthday party date set and the fact I’m still waiting on a call is causing me to run behind in finding him the perfect cake. I guess I’ll have to look elsewhere. Super disappointed.
