This place is amazing. I have gotten so many awesome things here that its crazy. One of the best places I have ever been to. Highly recommended and the sweetest workers ever. Prices are amazing. My daughter moved here for school and we visit frequently and this is our first stop always. Thank you so much.
I found a bunch of $6 plastic totes and other low cost items for a craft fair set up. Saved so much money and did not buy new which I love. As an artist, I highly recommend shopping here and also check out Shelf Life!
I always love coming on here. You never know what you may find.
My wife loves all the art things here and I usually find a tool or some cool antique that I like. We spend 30 to 60 minutes here and there is a quick check out. Nice place!
Its a second-hand thrift shop for crafters, a good place to find stuff to make other stuff out of.
Great place that is well organized and has perfect pricing for what it is. I will definitely go back here and be shopping again.
Fun! Nice people. The ultimate rabbit hole for creativity.
Loved this place! They have anything you can imagine. Crafters paradise! Displays were awesome! They are super organized too!!!
Love, love, love this place! Great finds every time. Staff are friendly, helpful and considerate of all. Ignore the anti-mask crowd angry reviews and browse along with me the fabulousness that can only be reconsidered goods!
Can spend hours in this store buying things I never knew I needed. Lol. Great prices and selection. I love that it is so organized.
Fun as usual. Always find something we like!
I love this place so much. Every time I go to get Greensboro, there are a few places that I must visit and this is one of them. If I need it, they have it. I love that they hire the disabled, give back to the community, and offer cheap at supply prices to broke artists (wink wink). I also appreciate it as a good place to bring things when I am de-stashing. So much to love about this place.
I love this place; its always fun searching through everything to find cute items. They are also well organized!
Fascinating place!!! Lots and lots to see...and...buy. vintage dishes, wreaths, craft goods, lace, beads, frames, goes on and on. Must visit!!!
Fun place to wander around. Imagine an estate yard sale that was collected from an entire county of homes and business then displayed like a mom & pop 5 & dime managed by college students and hippies then you will begin to get the vibe of this place. I heard a man shopping there say that he just realized he had been picking through stuff there for an hour and a half already. Great place to draw artistic inspiration from.
So many cool things!!!! Super clean and well organized.
This place is so much fun! They have everything from quirky tchotchkes to crafts supplies to antique China (and more)! Just walking around this place is a good time. The staff is friendly and the store has an overall positive vibe. I would highly recommend checking out Reconsidered Goods!
PHENOMENAL place!! You can find so much good stuff here, and at an amazing price, while also saving these things from going to the landfill which is the biggest piece. Not to mention the person who rang my items up was the sweetest person ever and made my day just by being super friendly 😁 I will definitely come back here again!
My favorite thrift store. So many antiques for cheap. It reminds me of a fancy goodwill.
Wow, what a gem of a store! By far the best thrift store Ive ever been in (and I AM thrifty)! Strangely enough, my dad reccommended it to my hubby, so I thought itd be an icky salvation type place. But NO! I bought a ton of cute necklaces and all sorts of odds and ends. Its set up like a kitschy art museum.. They could seriously charge an entance fee just to walk through. However, they are the only store left Ive been to that still makes you wear a mask (drill sergeants about it) and are keeping the restrooms closed.
This store kicked my asthmatic daughter out, after the mask mandate was lifted, for not having a mask on, and after she disclosed she had a health condition! Even under the former mask mandate individuals with health conditions did not have to wear a mask!! If you read through their Google Reviews this is not the first time customers have been harassed in this store about masks, even when worn properly. Do not patronize this store. We won’t. Ever again. And we will tell everyone about their horrible employees.
Great place to find treasures of yesterday! Enjoy talking with the owners and volunteers. Fun to go any time!!
Excellent store and excellent staff!! Paige and Reconsidered goods led the way at the beginning of the pandemic, organizing a massive drive to provide PPE to first responders, locally and nationally! Community is at the heart of everything they do!
This was a great find!! However...WARNING if I get overwhelmed at Walmart, take a deep breath before you dive in! There is sooooo much stuff here! For all the things they have it is actually pretty well organized and somewhat easy to browse through! They have both a FB and IG page and will post new cool items that come in, but they go fast!If you are looking to get rid of things crafty and more think about donating here! They are a well loved supply store but are very reasonable on everything! Staff is very kind and helpful and theres even a store cat! His name is Wilson! If you are an artist and looking for inspiration this place would definitely be it! I wish they had one in Winston too that would be awesome. They carry fabric, buttons, beads, frames, containers, glassware, old photos, scrapbook supplies, old vinyl records, you name it...its there!! Check them out, you wont be disappointed!
I absolutely love this store and how they are continuing to keep the customer and staff safe during this continuing pandemic. I work in with disabled adults and they are immune compromised so it is great that I can go to ta store where they care about the communities safety. I feel so bad for the workers who continuously get berated by selfish people who refuse to care for the safety of others in the store. I have never had a bad experience here and they are so incredibly kind and caring. There are no laws being broken by requiring customers to wear a mask and only those who are selfish and hateful are refusing to do so when these workers are so kind. It literally costs nothing for a person to be a decent human being but unfortunately some still struggle with how to not be a terrible person to our frontline workers during these hard times. I have always loved how this store prioritizes the safety of our community while continuing to strive for educating the public on how to reduce, reuse and recycle in creative ways that help the planet. I love yall!
While traveling in October, my friend and I found this cute thrift store. We were so excited to go back. So, in January we had a chance, and we traveled 3 hours, only to have our shopping interrupted by a lady rudely telling us that if we cant cover our nose we will have to leave. I was very confused and looked at my friend, whose nose was covered by her flesh colored mask. I felt my own mask to make sure my own nose was covered, and it was. The lady was indeed talking to us. My friend and I are both professionals, (she is a teacher and I am a Relationship Banker) and we have to wear our masks properly every day, as we were when we were in the store. We put the things we were going to buy back and have decided we will not be going back.
My first visit here! I will have to make this my first stop when im doing anything crafty.
New location is amazing! Wonderfully organized, spaced out, clean, well-lit. Great deals on every type of art/craft supply imaginable. Beautifully curated sections filled with thrift items for home as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only downside is that it’s really easy to spend more than you planned!
I have a health condition and the employees at the store forced me to leave bc I didn’t have a mask on. I was in the store for about 45 minutes and when I went to checkout, an employee told me to put on a mask or I had to leave. I immediately dropped my stuff and left. All of the employees were quite rude and I will be reporting this store. If you want to go thrifting, I’d recommend Goodwill or Salvation Army, not this store.
I LOVE this store. The staff is kind, hard working, fun, and creative. I go to RC before setting foot in other craft stores to see if they have what I need. They usually do (and many other treasures I had not imagined)!I appreciate everything they do for the community, and that they are vigilant about everyone in the building wearing masks - and wearing them properly.
Great selection of creative supplies and household items, really worth a stop to shop, its great to see so many quality things getting a second life.
Great staff who cares about their customers. One of the few retail spaces I feel safe shopping in during the pandemic. Everyone is super friendly and merchandise is always fresh and changing. Highly recommend!
I love this store. It allows me to be able to afford my hobbies. And the people I chat with in there are always so pleasant!
Really enjoyed shopping here! The employees created a great atmosphere and the items were super cheap.
THE BEST store in greensboro. Staff are always happy and helpful, and give off the right energy. This store is full of everything you could and couldnt think of. Just go in and look at things and you are sure to find what you are looking for. 💗🔮👍
This place is awesome! Super welcoming atmosphere and great prices!!!
I was able to donate arts and crafts instead of throwing them out!
Soo much fun! Love there new place. Lots of things to see. Everything is arranged so neat and attractive. We missed seeing Wilson but so happy he is enjoying his new home and new friends.
Love this place! So well organized - always fun to find interesting things to transform into something new. Thank you for being a great resource for us!
Quality goods, excellent arrangement of items, pleasant staff, and masks and social distancing is the norm. Prices reasonable.
Such a fun and creative store. I love going, always something new.
This place was MUCH better before they moved. If you’re looking for craft supplies, this place is great. If you’re looking for bargain vintage stuff, it’s awful. Almost everything is way over priced. A busted chair from the 60s? That’ll be $54. An old trunk with broken hinges? $46 please. It’s gotten to the point where coming here feels like a waste of time unless you’re looking for knick nacks. It’s a non profit that gets everything vi donations, so I’m not sure why they need to max out how much items cost. Thrifting is better done at Freedom House or Blessingdales. Design Archives is like the same price with better selection. Ridiculous.
Great store for a lot of crafting items. Friendly staff and good prices.
Its a wonderful treasure hunt ❤ this store we have brought other family members to the store they get stuff in everyday something for everyone
My favorite craft store in the area. I love their mission to reduce what is put in land fills. The staff is always nice and helpful.
Great place to donate; and super awesome finds for DIY and decor - including fabric at WAY cheaper than HL or Joanns
This is such a great store! Its a makers dream come to life. I found canvases, several nutrition research props I used as Christmas tree decorations, and a beautiful quilt with a great rose pattern Id never seen before. They also had overhead projectors, old typewriters, funky jewelry, lots and lots of fabric, AND kittens up for adoption - its definitely worth checking out. If I lived in town, Id be here all the time.
Love this place. I always find something to reuse.
Every time I go in there they have exactly what Im looking for. Now whenever I need pretty much anything I go there first.
So much better than the other store, so organized it made it a pleasure to shop. I also suggest a sign that says all donations around the back of the building.
Consignment shop with lots of vendors products to choice from.
Love this place. They have a great mission and purpose to recycle and reuse materials to divert it from the landfills. They are offer educational classes, summer camps and professional development for businesses in their event center. They also offer a store front that allows you to purchase all types of materials at a very low cost.
This is a fun, creative and inspiring place to visit. I attended a crafting session with friends and had a great time making something useful out of items Id normally throw out. Ms. Laura artfully guided our craft session with positive feedback and many smiles. I highly recommend visiting this place and staying to craft a while.
Unique place thats worth a stroll from time 2 time. Might just find a gotta have
Wonderful store with mission to repurpose so many things in creative ways! A community treasure!
I almost want to be greedy and not let everyone know how fabulous this place is, but Ill spill - anything and everything you can think of, from vintage jewelry to safety glasses and a putty knife, its here along with thousands of other perfectly priced and nicely displayed things you didnt know you needed!
Love this place!! Its huge now that theyve moved. Definitely one of my favorite secondhand stores - they have everything and you get a lot for what you pay!!
Amazing way to reduce, reuse and recycle!
Lots of unique finds!
Did not appreciate multiple staff members harrasing my 9 year old on 3 seperate occasions about his mask and how it wasnt covering as much of the nose as they wanted. His mask was on and covering his nostrils and mouth. So what if the bridge of his nose was uncovered.
Interesting place that accepts donations off all kinds of craft-worthy goods. I get a feeling no two visits are the same as there are many unique finds. Huge selection of fabrics, particularly those related to home decor (just be prepared for the fact that yardages are not noted). Merchandise is well organized and fairly priced.
They’re breaking the law because the staff discriminated against people with health conditions
Definitely my favorite place for amazing finds! Can’t wait for the new location.
Simply put, Reconsidered Goods is the Best Place in the World! Their mission is to instill a mindset of creative reuse and their purpose is to facilitate that happening. You can find items for art projects, vintage vinyls, books, housewares, jewelry, toys from yesteryear. Ones imagination kicks into overdrive just by crossing their threshold. The staff are every bit as delightful as the treasures you will behold there. Why are you still reading this review? Go already!
Best place for craft supplies
You’ll always find the thing you were never looking for when you visit. It’s such a cool place with everything from knickknacks to vintage items to fabric to old electronics to jewelry and literally everything in between. The perfect place to find things for projects, gifts, or just enjoying the thrill of the hunt. They also do some great workshops.
Loved it! Reconsidered Goods has a wonderful selection of items displayed in organized categories. They have a great selection of fabrics, if you are a quilter or crafter. It was my first visit, but not my last.
Awesome. Hours of treasure-hunting!
Love this place, particularly the fact that they have a fabric section. They have a section for just about everything here. If you like thrifting and vintage, check this spot out.
This is one of my favorite places in Greensboro. I have found some real treasures here, and I love the fact that the merchandise changes so frequently. I also love the mission behind the business -- keeping as many items out of the landfill as possible. The staff has always been very helpful, and the shop kitty is a real sweetheart. I enjoyed the workshop I took earlier this year, and look forward to taking more. Highly recommend!
Love this place! So many treasures to find and at GREAT prices. The resident cat is nice to visit also.
This place is such a godsend. Its where you can find the craft supplies you need at a fraction of the price of actual craft supply stores, plus all those random items that you didnt realize you needed but cant find anywhere else. We take our our girls here for free range art and I love seeing what they create with with no limitations or instructions. Always my first stop when I have a project in mind!
Can always find something
Love this place. They have so many unique items, arts and crafts, household, antique and more! We love coming here.
We loved our experience!! It was great. So many awesome finds! Great customer service as well!
Best place to let your creativity run wild. With so many options the possibilities are endless!!!Plus you are helping the environment by recycling and reducing our landfills.
Reconsidered Goods is one of the best places to go in Greensboro. The staff, including shop cat Wilson, are phenomenal. If you have a craft project, if you need some inspiration, if youre looking for a gift, go here first. Creative reuse forever!!
Staff are super friendly, always something new in store. Great unique finds, very reasonably priced. So much variety.
Arts and crafts. Recycling. I love this family friendly store. Go to get creative!
My favorite place to be in Greensboro! Awesome for anything ranging from kitchen supplies to craft supplies to mirrors in the back! It’s be the place to go if you’re wanting a project, small nails, mismatched items, or funny cat pictures. Candles can be as cheap as 25¢ or even less
I liked this place and will return very soon... I found a grab bag of loose natural gemstones and jewelry cording for only $1.75!! Jewelry design books were only $1 and in excellent condition!! Also found gently-used art supplies like paint, brushes and canvas paper... this place is worth a visit!!
I love this place, the mission and the staff! I try and go every few months just to see whats new! If you havent been, you definitely should go & see what its about!
You never know what you might find here. It is like a thrift store, but it gets industrial donations as well as vintage things. They a have a team of creative people that can help you with a craft project as well as make and take kits. Fun place!
I.LOVE.THIS.PLACE. If you are an artist, crafty, or generally love a good deal and finding new purpose s for old items, you need to visit this store as soon as possible. Stepping through the door gives me an instant surge of artistic inspiration. Everything is at low prices you honestly have to see to believe. If you love to make multimedia pieces you will especially love this store. They spend hours doing all the hard work of scouring through books and magazines to find all the best typography and pictures, which you can purchase for only 10¢ each. An added bonus to the store is their adorable cat, Wilson, who has an extra toe. You may see him in trip to the bathroom, so like you should do your entire body trip to Reconsidered Goods, keep your eyes open!
STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO HERE. LOVE this place! Anyone with any kind of home improvement, school, craft, or science project NEEDS to go here. They also have a fun cheap make and take area that is great if you or the babysitter want to spend an hour or two creating with the kids!
Its a nice vintage shop. It has a clean layout, it has old circuit boards if you feel like experimenting (Try making electronics), and some nice pictures frames. And the cherry to top the cake is the cat!
The variety of art and craft supplies is beyond what I was expecting! You never know whats going to be there. With the cheap prices (25 cents, a dollar) its a repurposing artists dream. I even found some unusual vintage items that are much more valuable. Wonderful place! They even hold weekly take n make classes for the budding or curious artisan. Worth a visit!
This place has a huge number of assorted goods, real real cheap. The people who run the place are super nice, and theres lots of fun events going on every month! Highly recommend.
This place has just about every art, craft and office supply imaginable! Only rated 4 star because of small, semi-chaotic environment. Its very easy to feel overwhelmed in here.
Always a fun place...Never know what youll find.Say hi to 😺 wilson when you go by.
Fun place to shop for craft supplies. Nice people work and volunteer there to keep everything in good order. Cant wait to go back.
Awesome stuff, amazing people, very innovative and beyond their years in their mission. Doing something that no one else in the triad has ever attempted!
