All I know is I seen that lady put the bread in the toaster with her bare hands. I told the manager and got a refund with the quickness. No maam!!!!. Other then that the food is good.. Very disappointed because they have good food and I dont know how long this has been going on!!!!..With the virus going on that mix girl do not care

Not busy at all when we were there. Employees were masked, although not all of them properly. Wait staff was fast and efficient. Once our order was placed, it didnt take long at all before it arrived. Flounder, deep-fried, was good and more than I could finish. Fried squash was also deep-fried and yummy. Daughter had spaghetti with veggies - looked good and she ate most of it. All in, a nice place to get a decent meal at a fairly low price. Would return if in the area again. (Were from out of state.)

Very delicious and flavorful food! The price is cheap for the quality and quantity you receive. The pancakes are perfect fluffy and light. Also try the Buffalo wings or tenders they have just the right amount of kick! Give it a chance and it will become your new favorite comfort food spot.

Looking for a place to eat after a local football game, we found Best Diner. Google states they close at midnight. We arrived at 10:15. After being seated and handed menus, we were told they were closing in fifteen minutes. We asked for clarification, she said we need to leave in fifteen minutes. While leaving the parking lot, we saw the sign out front states closing time was at 11. Surely, we could have eaten in 45 mins. I worked in the restaurant industry for six years and retail service for twenty. The normal practice is for customers to enter and be served up until the doors are locked. I understand with a global pandemic, finding help is difficult, but a business should make adjustments to ensure they are able to provide good customer service instead of giving poor customer service when people enter the establishment. At the very least, use kind words and apologize when turning customers away.

Have been here many times with the family and this place is always great. Unbeatable prices on everything here and the quality is superb. Very clean dining room and bathrooms. Employees here are very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. Great place to eat breakfast and lunch very cheap. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Dont recommend ordering take out. The apple pie isnt fully cooked. They forgot to include a side with one of the meals ordered.Cant speak to dine-in, but stay away from takeout. Shouldve known when they didnt pick up the phone the first time that it wouldnt be great...

If you never want to be disappointed this is the spot. And that is a huge statement in these day and times. lol I love this place. When I lived 45 mins. away I would come just for the cheese steak. The best in Greensboro by far and no one can beat their prices. And the staff are the most beautiful, caring ladies Ive ever meet. Just return for breakfast on 9/13 and was blown away. The cooks, the best in Greensboro! Take a bow ladies! You ROCK!!!

I cant remember our servers name, but she was so sweet. My date (I gave him a second chance, today was it. Second and last) was a complainer and gave her a hard time..he was rude..but she kept smiling..kudos to her. I ordered pancakes, they were very light and fluffy..and the coffee was the best have had in forever !! Go to Best Finer..have a great meal, served by fantastic people !!

My friend ordered mac and cheese but they ran out. The staff was nice. The dishes were piled up in plain site of the lobby. Seemed clean

If u plan on ordering from best diner for take out, dont bother. Food is only good eaten inside i guess. They never answer the phone when i call to order.

Great place to eat. Friendly staff and quick service. Large Extensive Americana menu. Waffle house atmosphere and can be a little loud when packed with people. I enjoy their vast menu.

First time here for breakfast at it was delicious and reasonably priced. Coffee was pretty weak though, but maybe it was a bad pot. Great, fast service and waitstaff all wore masks.

Food was great we were tooken care of soon as we walked in the door great crew working and again great food will definitely be back

I did not care much for there porks chops one was so skinny and thin it didnt hv no meat in it .the fried squash wouldnt done enough. The corn was ok. Dont think I will be going back.

I use to like coming here at nights on the weekends back in the day. The girl that use to work behind the counter was always welcoming and attentive. The girls now are ok but service was just better with her. She had dark brown hair and freckles. Find her and bring her back!!!!!

A nice place to eat. It has good customer service. The wait staff was excellent. I only get a half hour for lunch. Im able to order my section and still have enough time to enjoy eat it. Lunch specials are at reasonable prices.

The grits, eggs and oatmeal to go were very good but the pattie sausage were horrible. I expected old school traditional sausage but instead I got McDonalds style sausage. The staff was very nice.

The sitting area was clean and very homey. The waitress that served us was pleasant and attentive. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot. The food was pretty good and the service was great. My over medium egg was cooked 2 perfection. Job well done.

This is quickly becoming one of our favorites. The food is good and very affordable. The breakfast is good too. So far I havent had anything I didnt like.The buffalo chicken wrap, the cheese steak, the grilled chicken, and the double cheese burger. The staff are friendly and generally quick. We had a large grouo this week and the food took a bit longer but it was all still hot and came out at the same time.

I stopped to eat breakfast here. Ordered eggs, turkey sausage and hash browns cooked well. The hash browns came out cooked very little. The waitress sent my food back and it came back cold. I decided to eat elsewhere.

Not happy with this experience at all. This was my first time dining at Best Diner. The person who told us about this place stated that it was a 24 hour restaurant. Also, the menu says 24 hour breakfast on the front of it. So naturally, I was under the impression that they were open all night. 11pm comes around and the waitress began to seem impatient. We even discussed why she would be acting this way. We asked for our desert and she brings it to our table in to go boxes. Ice cream and pie in a to go box. We thought there was just a mix up and they she thought we wanted it to go. No big deal... we open the box to start eating then the waitress rudely yells (from the front of the restaurant) “OKAY WE’RE CLOSING!” Then... wait for it... SHE TURNED THE LIGHTS OFF! I am a General Manager at a local Pizza Hut and if I EVER witness one of my employees treating customers this way, they will be dealt with on the spot. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were simply unaware of their operating hours. Some basic communication (excuse me, I don’t mean to rush you but we are closing)...could have solved everything. You don’t turn the lights off on a customer. Period. The food was EXCELLENT. I must add this. A clean location with a great feel and environment. But getting kicked out by turning the lights off on us was uncalled for and highly unappreciated.

Came here because power was out in most of town including our house. The power flickered a couple times while we were waiting for our food and it was pretty busy. The staff was in a good mood and had a good attitude about the unusual situation and we had a great no fuss meal served with a smile

Came here for the first time today, nice and quick service. Sweet tea was super good, service was super timely only thing that made me uncomfortable were some of the other customers staring over at our table, weirdly. Cosmetically the place could use some upgrading and a deep cleaning. Our waitress also did not inform use when ordering that it would be a dollar extra to add items. Still for our breakfast it was relatively cheap just would have liked for her to inform us.

We came in and ordered. Not a lot of tables were clean but we found a place. We got our drinks and ordered and look down at one of the cups and there was a lip stick print on the side of the cup. No of us were wearing lipstick. Really killed the appetite.

Terrible experience at this place with service. They refused to provide receipt and rudely behave from the very beginning. Also have the audacity to say we don’t read minds and cannot provide receipt. Looks like they don’t know how to serve customers!!! Terrible horrible service!

Very disappointed, usually they actually take the time to make my eggs perfectly (really soft), it was the only place I liked to eat eggs...recently In the last month they’ve been cooking them hard or completely running off of the plate....idk if they have new cooks but unfortunately I’m going to take my business elsewhere from here on out...I’m tired of wasting money at this point...eggs aren’t hard to cook

Fast friendly service. Food was very tasty and the ice tea was excellent. They were moderately busy at 3:15 when I entered. My food (cheese steak sub and fries) came in about 5 minutes which is perfectly acceptable.The mens room was clean and appeared to be looked after on a schedule.

Very cold inside. Maybe because first cold day of season. First visit was greeted from the kitchen to kindly sit anywhere. FFood was average diner. My western omelets was good, but si salty I could almost not get it down. Perhaps the cheese and ham?? Perhaps the cook is a smoker (is often found when food are salty)My wife enjoyed her eggs and toast with coffee.Seemed pretty friendly. But quite cold. The restrooms are not up to snuff, but iylts a diner. It was freezing in there!!Footnote: I am usually the last person to be cold in a room. I always say, if I am cold, just about everybody is cold.

Coffee was simply dirty water ew... service was good but yuck on the food. She offered cinnamon to my oatmeal i asked for a little im not sure i even had oats anymore.A few other things yuckness but whats noted is enough. I was disappointed...

My family loves best diner we always get the grilled chicken dinner it has excellent flavor and with this crazy covid going on and my parents are elderly and Im younger I always go inside and order and take the food outside and we eat in the car and the last time we went there the waitress was so nice when our order was ready she went out of her way and masked up and helped me take the food and drinks out to the car I sure wished I knew her name cause she deserves a pay raise but she has always been really nice even before the covid she would always spend extra time at our table speaking with my parents and I I highly recommend best diner oh and the steak and cheese subs are excellent as well
