Wife and I love it. She likes the ribs and I usually get wings. Very nice people and not too expensive.

Food here is really top-notch! Its no wonder theyve been there so long. I had lunch on their very nice patio where I could smoke my cigar and not feel 2nd class. Sweet tea is 3 star IMO. The fried pickles are AWESOME!

Best wings in Greensboro and welll beyond. Also best draft beer selection anywhere; they have the best - Devils Backbone Vienna Lager must try you wont go back to your old beer. Best service - even quick for work lunch. A Greensboro locals secret !

We had a medium size group (civic club network and membership event) catering event and the box seat was great! giving us an awesome space (room to socialize and social distance ) and the food (appetizer chicken and waffles and bbq huspuppies we’re hit as well as the app cucumber sandwiches) and the service was attentive and prompt without being intrusive - so awesome everyone agreed to use them agin for our next event! We very much appreciate finding a place that accommodates our group for small meetings and medium sized group events!

My favorite place to get wings in Greensboro. They recently updated their menu and the new Nachos are awesome. Good service and a manager that cares and checks on guests.

We also ordered a Carolina style burger, fried okra and fries to go with those bbq stuffed hush puppies! YUM.

We stop here routinely when in Greensboro shopping or passing through. Best shrimp Po Boy I’ve had, even vs coastal dives. We always get that and the onion rings which are also phenomenal. Dog friendly patio, too!

Very flexible with our large group. Didnt hassle us to split the check which was nice.

Walked in and didn’t see a hostess or a sign saying to seat yourself so after standing there for a few minutes we just found an open table. We sat for 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or taking our order. Multiple waitresses walked by us just sitting there to check on tables around us or clean off tables. We got up and walked out. The time before this our server checked on us ONE time the entire meal. Never got drink refills and had to take our own check to the counter to pay the bill. We used to love this place but the service is enough to make me never want to return.

Food and service were excellent. We had a Graduation party in the back room. Everything on the menu is yummy!

Say they open at 11:30am but never do you need to fix your time so people wont waste there time to come by in try to eat when you are not open.

First time back in several years, disappointed by the food. Stuffed hushpuppies are still delicious but the main meal was not very good. Service was slow, had to bring my card up to the bar to pay, it was taking so long. It was a little busy but not packed.

The company I work for had used Box Seat for catering, so I knew about them vaguely. It was my first time at the restaurant itself. While the seating and tables werent brand new, it is a comfortable and homey place. The atmosphere was nice. We came with a small party of people. The waiter was nice and super friendly.The food was delicious. The barbecue stuffed hushpuppies were amazing. No one in our group had a single complaint about the food. Our orders ranged from philly cheese steaks to burgers, wings and fried okra. Most ended up getting takeout after they finished their meals.As we were leaving I looked around and there was barely a french fry left on anyones plate. Definitely going back at a later date.

Fun times celebrating my friends 50th birthday with 20 or so of her closest friends. Watched the games, enjoyed food and drinks, had lots of room to visit with all the guests. Perfect location. Food was delicious. Service was the BEST! Highly recommend.

I am changing my post after some time has past and Box Seat has come back to full life on this side of covid19. I have received very giod service since then and their prices are in line with their quality. I have continued to come here and it is my choice for the best wings in this area.

Eat here at least once a month for years and never had a bad meal. They cook food just as you order it and wait staff very attentive. Being a sports bar and grill, it can get loud but never had a problem there.

Its open, socially distanced and the food and drinks are great.

This place is a good and cheap resturant to eat at. Great for lunch break or dinner. You can eat for under $10. They have good size portions for the price of the food. The vibe in the restaurant is good. There is a separation from the bar so you wont feel like you are at a bar. I like that!!! I got the wings and they had a special for wings which was 15 for $10 and I got the lemon pepper flavor. I would say that the wings are good but could be better if they were breaded and seasoned with your flavor of choice. I had the hot chips with my meal and they were so good. I would definitely go back to try something else.

The food was fine, but were disappointed that they have raised their prices almost double. I understand that with Covid they are losing money, but to expect patrons that are coming to subsidize the difference is not right. You may want to change the prices on this site if they are no longer correct. 🙂

This said I visited 4 months ago. I wish it werent that long. The service is fast, wait staff friendly, restaurant clean...Ive not been back bc they dont have spinach dip. My wife and I were in GSO today for Dr Appointment we live in Reidsville, she googled sports bar near me and so we’re glad The Box Seat came up because the hot wings were perfect, some of the best I’ve ever had. She had the Burger and onion rings and it was awesome also. We’ll be back!

I really like this place. They have a great beer selection, and really good specials. They have great deals on craft beers on Tuesdays. The food is really good, too. They have good wings and appetizers.

Convenient to the monthly Piedmont Swing Dance held next door, this joint has exceptional wings, as good and as reasonable as any place else around. And there’s not a sport in the world not on the multitudinous TVs. Theres a reasonable number of beers on tap, but the waitress could only name a couple and I had to go look. Then it seemed she got lost between the kitchen and our table. Another waitress had to rescue our order. Too bad. The wings are great.

Waited for 30 min to be told that the computer lost our order. The waitress was nice and apologetic. But I noticed other customers who came 20 min after our party of 4 served in 15 min. Came here for dinner on a wed night were it was not busy. So beware of coming here.

Great place for casual dining. Been coming here since 1997. Had a few ups and downs over the years (what eatery hasnt?) but it is now at its best. Great tables and seating, vibrant atmosphere, super service and food. Really have upgraded their array of flat screen videos so you can keep up with most any sporting event. Try it!!

I love the food, but just about every other time we go we end up walking out because the waitresses dont seem to want to work. Only four other tables there and two were already finished. Instead of wanting to greet us and begin our dining experience they would rather stand around and talk. Its such a shame because their food is good. Oh well, Bon Bon isnt far and has a similar menu.

Very disappointed. This was our 3rd visit to watch a Browns game. Sat at a booth in the area of other fans. Two waitresses were working the area, neither one acknowledged that we were even there. The dark hair waitresses looked directly at my husband and walked right past. We walked out and will not return. Our prior visit wasnt much better, wait staff is awful!

We had our Christmas party... my food was good, service timely. The prices were reasonas ble. I gave a markdown because my wife had cold onion rings and a lot of gristle in her ruben.

Went here for a celebration dinner. We did not have a reservation, but there were plenty of tables. The dining area is clean and classy. The service was prompt but they gave us space.
